I figured I rate this because a bunch of the reviews were old. I gave 3 stars but would probably give 3 1/2 if I could. Husband and I were staying at the state park looking for a comfy spot for a few beers and food for a quiet afternoon. Perfect spot for that. Friendly staff, good service, good food. Reasonable prices. We sat at the bar( there is a restaurant side and a takeout side). A bit dated but comfortable. Lots of room. As another reviewer stated it's not a fancy place to eat but a good solid spot where you can get regular fare: pizza, wings, burgers, cheesesteaks, pasta, fried chicken etc. We had a bunch of draft beers, wings,pizza and took home honey dipt chicken. Everything was good. Our bartender was patient with our order of one meal at a time and made pleasant conversation during our visit. We're glad we stopped and will definitely be back. read more

My wife and I LOVE this place! There doesn't seem to be a single "bad" menu item! Something for everyone, and always DELICIOUS. Pizza is outstanding. The Strombolis are exceptional. burgers, wings, hoagies, Cheesesteaks, all fantastic. We could live there.... Now this isn't a place to go for fine dining, you will get paper plates, plastic cups, and have to ask for silverware and condiments....but this place is all about comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere (on the restaurant side) for a reasonable price. Very surprised seeing an Italian restaurant pizza place connected to a bar pool room. Heck, whatever works. Saw a steady stream of folks pickup pies. I ate at the other pizzeria around the corner and someone mentioned this place, so I thought it would be nice to try it out. This place was darker with booth seatings. The pizza tasted good but was too greasy for me. The cheese had a lot of condiments in it. Besides the grease, the crust tasted very good, it wasn't chewy. Both pizzerias have owners that looked unhappy. If I had to pick which one to go to for pizza, it would be the other, the pizza had less ingredients in the cheese and they were cheaper. read more

Def a hole in the wall kinda place. Very dark and bit dingy and very outdated inside but the area is very rural so I don't expect 4 star dining. I gave an extra star bc the fries were good but they made my chicken cheesesteak with cheddar cheese....um ok. Chicken was so bland I hate to saturate in salt and pepper. Pops said his burger was decent but he eats anything. I'll take my chances somewhere else next time:) read more

This is one of very few places to eat near where we stayed in Poconos, so 5 stars for location. They also have beer and cider 6-packs to go, which is great. The food was average. Good enough for grabbing some take out for the family. Everything we had was fine including tuna club, Buffalo chicken sandwich and hoagies. Grilled chicken salad was just lettuce. The munch skins were a little greasier than expected. I thought there would be a bit of potato in the filling. read more

Would like to give this 3.5 but Yelp doesn't allow 3.5. So my crew and I are visiting Jack Frost for snowboarding and this place is 6 minutes from our condo. The menu was in the condo so we assumed it was a recommendation. The crew collectively gave it a rating of high 6 low 7...out of 10. Definitely not as bad as some of the other reviews. I even saw someone said "Italian food not by real Italians". First off rude, secondly there definitely were traditional Italians there. But anyway really not the point lol. So as you can see in the pics it was presented well. We picked it up We ordered 2 cheese pizzas and the dough was really thick . The cheese was fine, pizza could have used more sauce. The chicken does not have any seasoning (we got a 12 piece naked and a 12 piece hot) the naked was not great So make sure to get it hot but it's HOT. Anyway. When not many options in the area and open late this place is totally fine to go to! Get some pizza yall. read more

Went there looking forward to some good baked ziti. What came out was ziti pasta with sauce and was awful. We were in the bar portion of the restaurant and when we pointed out that it wasn't baked ziti, the bartender said that's what they called baked ziti. My antipasto was good, but the non baked ziti was an extreme disappointment. Even the garlic know was kind of tasteless. read more

HAS BEER TO GO... if you don't feel like going to beef distributor, although Frostys is just up the road ~10 booths. Nicer seating area than Frenchies (2 tables, more for takeout) or Galianos. Decent wine for under $5 a glass. Has bar signs on outside bc is half bar/half restaurant so we almost didn't go bc didn't have menu/website (I posted menu - see pics) but was family friendly and even had homemade cannolis. Even has Philadelphia water ice Service was a bit slow (server does come to table but maybe faster to order up front), but overall a good meal. read more

This is a decent restaurant to choose from, since there is not a wide selection in the area. The food is decently priced and pretty tasty. My biggest down fall was the pizza. There was way too much grease in the two slices I ordered. I was able to finish one slice and couldn't even look at the other. The person I was with had a cheesesteak. I tried their meal and I definitely would have ordered it over mine! Another little issue was the service. They do when they serve classic old favorites like this family restaurant. It's a family serving individuals and families. We met mom, pop, and their little girl. We had a top notch slice of pizza then attempted to complete two plates of a yummy salad followed by two huge plates of eggplant parmesan. As hungry as we were, we finished half of a single huge plate taking the rest home for a large lunch as well as side dishes for dinner. Yummy as Rachell Ray would say. It's located in a small strip near the intersection of 903 and 534. One half is a kid-friendly restaurant and the other half is the pub. Best wings that my wife and I have ever had. I'm not kidding. This is the place that we rate all other wings against. We also like the pizza, there are multiple TVs, at least one pool table, darts, and video games. Our food, yes Pizza (and wings) this comment being for the reviewer that said its 'advertised as a pizzeria', was trash. The wings were very over cooked - 'we still joke about the cremated wings, we trashed them without further inspection. The (not NY, NJ, Pa or 'any state') pizza had No flavor, cardboard crust, low coverage on toppings, and accompanied by horrible rude service. Wanting to give a local Pocono place a second chance.... Now twice burned. Second time, cheese steaks, onion rings and fries. Onion rings and fries were wet and limp - get the hint about the ownership. Cheesesteaks were a 'steak-ums' Joke- OMG -more trash. Just moved to the area, was looking for something for a quick last minute dinner for me and my two kids. Our waitress was amazing, very welcoming and sweet. Even gave us recommendations off the menu. My son and I got cheesesteaks and they were absolutely delicious. The roll was very fresh and toasted perfectly. My daughter got a hotdog off the kids menu, not sure how that was but she said it was delicious LOL. Everything takes good in the mouth of a three year old.
