You're not eating here for the health factor of the food. If you want the best fried pizza in the back mountain stop here. Their general tso chicken pizza is fantastic. Wings are great. Stuff's a little pricey, but it's worth it. bathrooms are acceptable. Seating area is a little tight. Blue moon was fresh when I had it. Conveniently attached to a bowling alley so if you wanna go get stuff to the gills and then go burn off the calories it's a fun Friday night. Service is hit or miss based on how busy they are. It always feels that they're understaffed, but as a fellow business owner, there's no point in having people standing around when demand is not there. My friend recommended this place because it had really great ratings on a pizza review blog that he is on (yes, those are a thing!). I must say I was really surprised by this unique, Detroit style pizza. The sauce had sweet undertones, and the way they incorporated onions into their sauces was done really well! The buffalo chicken pizza was simultaneously sweet and spicy and the chicken was really tender unlike some other places that cook their chicken to a near jerky level texture. Only thing I will say is that it is a HEAVY meal. The pizza tasted like it was deep fried in oil. Hey, you only live once right? So to recap, if you want something light and healthy, don't come here, but if it's your cheat day and you are super hungry, this is your spot! Ordered take out for me sand the wife: 12 Cuts Sicilian $15.95 --- specifically with extra sauce and extra cheese -- verbally extra sloppy --- since VD Day, wanted to avoid the crowds! Wife got there, opened the box and no extras! She asked if we can get extra sauce and add when gotten home --- the female bar tender gave her 2 small vials of sauce, maybe 3-4 ounces for a FULL TRAY! --- took the $23 original BILL and added $3! with a very SNARKY attitude and demeaner. We live near Hazleton --- and will probably never go back due to this ignorant female "loser" bartender! ISSUE: we were charged for the extras, and the pizza was not made with extras! Sadly I'm too far away in Philly to call this local, but I was lucky enough to have a coworker bring me down a pizza sample. I must say it's delicious and very unique! OK, to be certain this is a pizza place co-located in a bowling alley not in some fancy resort property. It is a friendly and very casual setting if you are eating in and not just picking-up for takeout. All you really need to know is that the pizza is great and is made in the rectangular "cut" style, not a round pie. Give it a try; I think you will like it. read more

I've been visiting this establishment regularly for some time. Last night, I hosted a birthday party for my wife, family and friends. I don't have enough space to fully detail the experience so this summary is in categories: servers: all young, energetic, friendly/smiling, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive; food: primarily pizza but many types, all good and cooked to order, reasonably priced, the facility: ample parking, supplies and equipment. The shoes are a week point with many falling apart but this minor issue shouldn't impact your enjoyment of the overall experience. I'll definitely be back alone and with friends. Great food. Not really a sit down place making it more of a takeout place. They do have a sit down area though but it is very small. There pizza is hands down best in the area. They do use peanut oil so be warned peanut eaters. Would recommend and get it almost weekly. Hasn't let me down yet in the 5 years of getting it! read more

This is a review of the Sicilian, fried pizza. It's excellent. We love the chicken wing, the plain with onion and the pagach (pierogi pizza with mashed potato, onion and cheese). We like it more than Pizza Perfect, which is a Back Mountain staple. We only do takeout; we've never eaten in the restaurant, so I can't review the dining room. I also can't review the round pizza, or the wings and side dishes; we've never tried them. Obviously, this isn't health-food, so if you're watching your fat/calories, I wouldn't recommend it. But, if you like some good, pan-fried pizza, this is your place. read more

This is such a hidden gem. It's located inside Back Mountain Bowl but you can order take out. I can't tell the Sicilian pizza apart from Pizza Perfect, and it's cheaper. The wings are also reasonably priced, and they're pretty good. read more
