My son had his first game of the season Friday night in Clarks Summit @ Abington Heights so we popped in to Rosario's for a quick bite. I got a vodka grandma slice and Samantha got the Chicken, Bacon, Honey Mustard slice. Came out to $7 and change. They were busy busy. A good amount of seating and the place looked clean. The vodka sauce was very good. I'm guessing it's just a blush and they don't add actual vodka but the flavor was solid. The dough and the cook on the pizza was also enjoyable. This is one of the better grandma slices I've had in quite some time. I took a bite of Sami's slice and it was good, but the honey mustard threw me off a bit. I'm used to the sauce for that type of slice being ranch so the sweetness was a change. Not bad necessarily, just different in a way I wasn't expecting. Rosario's definitely Didn't Suck, and I'd like to go back and try other slices sometime. read more

Most times this place is a circus with tons of folks running around and not sure who supervises the production, but things have fallen off dramatically. First off wings were not crispy at all, sauce was good. Second, requested crispy on the pizza, it wasn't and there was virtually no flavor to the pizza at all, I guess seasoning is optional in the sauce? Lastly I ordered shrimp and hot peppers on half the pizza and cold shrimp was placed on the pizza before it was handed to me. It wasn't even put into the oven to bake further! Used to be a great place, now is meh. Not ordering again anytime soon. read more

If you are looking for slices of all different kinds of pizza, this is the best spot to come to in the valley. Most local pizza doesn't have specialty slices like they do back home in NY, but Rosario's does! And they are delicious! especially the vodka sauce grandma pizza. read more

Never fail, the best around! Clean and pleasant. Even if you get there with a long line ahead, hang in there, they have a talent for moving the line super fast. The menu is varied with all different kinds of pizza but their Chicken Marsala or Chicken Francese are standouts! Their soups are in house made and oh so good. They also have excellent delivery. I remember how wonderful Rosario's pizza was when I was a teenager and my mother worked in Clarks Summit. That was in the 1970s. Recently I was visiting Pennsylvania and had the chance to taste it again. My memory didn't lie. Rosario's pizza still has the thin, flexible crust, the sweet tomatoey sauce, the stretchy cheese, all in perfect proportion. Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. The service is fast and friendly, the prices extremely reasonable, and the pizza superb. If I could transport the shop to where I live in California, I'd do it in an instant. read more

This place makes one of the best pies around. The Cup and Char is on another level. The sweet sauce pie and the pie with penne sauce was really good! ( I can't remember the name) This comes in comparison to the pizza we eat back home in NY. I've only ordered to go so I can only comment of how pleasant the counter help is while there. Really solid pizza in Clarks Summit. I convinced my in-laws (wonderful creatures of habit) to change up from their usual go-to places after discovering Rosario's on Yelp. Called at 11 am on Saturday just as they opened. Quoted 45-55 min deliverty but it only took about 35. Pizza was very good. The grandma pie was aprticularly rich. Similar to the square Old Forge-style pizza folks love around here. The cheese steak round pie was also great. Chicken wings--6 medium Buffalo, 6 garlic and butter, were on point. read more

What an awesome restaurant. Stopped on a recommendation from a friend and couldn't be more satisfied, well I could but you know.... Had bunch of teenagers and went with standard cheese pie , Moz sticks , and garlic knots . Pretty standard but the food was anything but. The sauce for apps was freaking amazing. I assume this is their marinara which was full of ripe tomato flavor and had fresh basil as well. Their cheese pizza was crisp and delicious and again you can taste the sweet tomato flavor . Rosario's knows that not all tomatoes are equal in flavor and thank goodness for that . Will definitely return and I thank my friend , Mike for recommending. Found Rosario's as we were traveling and decided to give it a try. It was a real treat! The food was delicious! We shared the family lasagne and it had a fresh, bright marinara with the perfect balance of meats and cheeses. The house dressing on the salad was a roasted red pepper that was unique and fantastic. It also came with a delicious fresh baked loaf of bread. Yum! Best of all the restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean with a friendly staff and owner who treated everyone who walked in the door like an old friend. Great delivery and counter service. All the food is tasty. We get lunches for work, pizzas for a quick dinner and I have used Rosarios to cater my sons graduation party. Food was awesome and Rosario himself delivered it! Gluten free pizza and cauliflower pizza is so good. Sometimes I stop in and pick up a container of the best vodka sauce for my own recipes. I love their food. Everything is delicious and the portions are large. My only complaint is that they are charging extra to use a credit card. My family had a business and we were charged extra if someone used a credit card. We did NOT pass that fee on to the customer.To me that is the price of doing business! We used to order from Rosario's a few times a week. Now I will patronize other restaurants that do not charge the extra fee and limit going to Rosario's. read more

I was debating if I should give this restaurant 3 or 4 stars, but I decided on 4 because of the friendliness of the staff. (That won over the absurd wait time we experienced because it did seem overly busy.) I went here for the first time recently with my husband and mom. My mom had a hoagie, I had pizza with fries, and my husband had a stromboli with fries. Upon seeing my mom's hoagie, I wish I got one too because the roll looked homemade and amazing. My pizza was good. My husband enjoyed his food. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing and a nice "hang out" spot. Seems very clean. The reason I did not give this restaurant 5 stars however, is the outcome of the hoagie I ended up ordering "to go". I do not eat meat, but I still very much enjoy hoagies. As stated previously, the rolls at Roasario's looked delicious. I truly enjoy a hoagie with cheese and vegetables as long as the roll is great. Anyway, I explained to the worker what I wanted: a COLD hoagie with only lettuce, American cheese, olives, and mayo on the side. He gave me a weird look, which I expect by now. We went over my order at least 3-4 times. We paid and then waited. The wait time for my "to go" order was crazy long, but I let it go considering the volume of people coming in. However, I was seriously disappointed when I got home and realized they made my hoagie wrong despite me explaining repeatedly. They turned it into a weird hot/cold hoagie with melted cheese, and they added broccoli to it, which I did not order. Needless to say, I did not eat my hoagie. I know a cold vegetarian hoagie such as this may be a "weird" request, but it is simple enough. This should have not happened. I have never had any other restaurant misunderstand my order. Regardless, I did enjoy my time here even if my "to go" order was severely disappointing. I want to come back and eat in again. Hopefully they can get my hoagie right next time! read more
