Wait time to be seated, receive drinks, and our food was relatively sort. The potato cakes were very delicious and served with a side of sour cream. The pizza was mistakenly made without pepperoni. Our waitress was awesome. She went to the kitchen and placed the correct order and told us to keep the pizza that was initially given to us. Three different staff members asked if we needed drink refills during our time at the restaurant. Everyone was pleasant, professional, and worked very well together. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The exterior is also well maintained and nicely landscaped with colorful flowers. We will be repeat customers. We enjoyed our time there. It was a great experience.

In all of my 32 years, this was literally the best buffalo chicken pizza I've EVER eaten! I actually wiped off some of the sauce to begin, fearing that it would be the stereotypical salty, vinegar-forward buffalo sauce. I regretted my decision: It was an ever-so-pleasant, slightly sweet, based, mild buffalo sauce. The pizza actually has thin slices of breaded chicken as a topping. I've never found a buff chic pizza that had chunks of baked, well-seasoned, thinly-sliced, breaded chicken tenders on top. It reminds me of what you'd find at a place like Ninas on their breaded hot wing hoagie; with a very similar sauce profile. This wouldn't be a true pizza review if I didn't note any critiques. The Dough was definitely homemade but it was slightly under done for my liking *I do understand they were pumping out hundreds to trays during the festival. The only aspect of this keeping it from being a 9.5+ slice was a little char on the undercarriage. Gio's New Haven style pepperoni pizza is fantastic. They use the proper style 'cup' pepperoni and produce an authentic level of 'char' on the appropriately thin and crispy crust for a New Haven Style pie. The dough even tastes like it is small batch / fermented for several days. Great Job!

Now what caught my attention was the prices, ten dollars for a 14-inch plain pie, Italian Hoagies just seven dollars, and their cheese steaks for only eight dollars. The question I was wondering for prices this low how does it taste? Well, each cut had a nice crisp to them, a good blend of cheese and sauce, and it came out nice and hot. The service was professional and welcoming, Now Pizza Avenue is a cash only establishment, they do have an ATM on sight. This was never the best pizzeria in Old Forge but I've probably eaten here a hundred times and have spent 15 years defending it, so it holds significance in my food journey. The late 2025 experience was between sad and insulting. Flat dough on 3 pizzas, chintzy toppings, only half the soup container was filled and didn't include bread, sloppy sandwich, and the woman on the phone sounded like she wished she had retired five years ago. Nobody ever said that this was the most consistent restaurant in Old Forge, but when your restaurant reaches the point where you're dragging down the reputation of the town's food scene, I think it's time to close.

Agostini's closing is the best thing to ever happen to this place, as since they've started making their own dough, their 16 inch round has elevated Laura's from being a pretty good pizza place to being an outstanding pizza place. Making homemade shells is obviously more labor intensive, but whatever they're doing now, it's worth it. Also, their online ordering system is very easy to use. We always get the usual order of 2 regular trays and 1 buffalo wing tray and they are amazing. I especially love the Buffalo and it is nothing like I have ever had before. The regular pizza is really good and has a slight sweet sauce. It's delicious and love this place. So glad to have them locally and enjoy the pizza. As for the other food I have not personally had, but people say the cheeseburgers and other options are also fantastic.
