You can't come to the valley without a visit to Jolly Farmer. Jolly Farmer's scones and brownies are insane, and worth the trip alone. The scones are dense, sweet, doughy, and decadent. I sampled the chocolate chip and the blueberry. Both INSANE (and gone in 2 hours). The brownies with homemade peanut butter icing are rich and fudgy, the kind of brownies that stick to your mouth because they're just THAT dense and delicious. Big selection of beer, local goods, and other conveniences. It's just a good old hometown stop 'n shop, but the baked goods are out of this world.

We have much more to try!! Glad it was a rainy day so we could opt to go in and give it a try! We will definitely be adding this into a weekend to do after we are done golfing, or before...work off the meal! :)

The owner was there and told us he took over the business in January and that he is working on fixing things up. This was our first time here and it certainly won't be our last. The mini golf course is so much fun and it's cheap! As of June 2024 it's $6 a person and it's one of those older courses with something at every hole instead of just green. We went a Saturday morning it was threatening to rain so we had the whole place to ourselves. After golf we had to try the ice cream everyone has mentioned in their reviews. The cheesecake soft serve is probably the best I've had. Hubby got some donuts and said they were pretty good too. There is a shop too but it looks like they were selling down on stock to change how that's set up. Interested to see what they do with all the space.

I am partial to soft serve but have tried both their hard icecream and soft serve. I prefer their soft serve but wish they had more flavors. I tried the classic chocolate twist and the two berry twist soft serves. In the two berry twist, I didn't like the pink flavor- it was too icy and more like a sorbet/dole whip than true soft serve. I liked the purple flavor thought! Overall, I still frequent Sweet Melissa's for softserve close to Cornell! Would recommend!
