We picked up a half a tray of Sicilian to go. The pie is fried , but is slightly doughy. Overall a good pie, good taste, and would go here again read more

The pizza was very sloppy not cooked all the way the dough was soggy and the sauce was very messy

My husband and I have been coming here for years and always loved it. Pizza and wings amazing. Last come of time waitress who always takes care of us has been very moody and nor all that nice. We gave it a couple times to see maybe something was going on personally. After 3rd time still rhe same. Not going back read more

Good pizza overall. One place where you can get round and Sicilian and both are decent. Pizza can be a little dry at times but overall not a bad choice for pizza in the area. read more

Pizza was not good I had frozen pizza that was better terrible cheese no taste pizza was they said they worked at Victory Pig no comparison I don't know how they stay in business lousy Pizza and I love my pizza my girlfriend Linda says it stinks too read more

I used to love this pizza, but the last couple of times we got the pizza, it was super greasy, there was hardly any sauce, and it was just bland. The only thing that had any flavor was the cheese blend. I tried a couple of times thinking it was different staff or a one-time error but disappointed each time. I don't know what happened but it is not the same. read more

I love the pizza here. The sauce, the cheese, the super crispy, delicious crust....YUM. Half tray is 7 cuts and a whole tray is 14 cuts and you can get with or without onions - we typically order without. I've been eating here for years and still love it every time. The pizza is a little greasy, yes. I believe they spray the bottom of the pizza pan with something before baking to make the crust crispy. The service is always very good and our pizza is ready at the time they tell us. They must be doing something right -- the parking lot is typically packed on weekend nights!! read more

The best pizza. You can't really get this kind anywhere outside of the area. It hasn't changed since the last time I had it over a decade ago. read more

Always the best pizza. Old forge pizza is popular in old forge but here we have the holy grail of pizzas. Amazing

Visiting family and wanted our favorite Pizza (well one of the favorites). Seems like we were bothering the bartender /cashier who actually frowned the entire time we saw her. Pick up bill at the front then take it to the bar to run the card then back to the front to sign. Awkward. Hope we get the pizza home and it's like we remember from last years read more

I don't know if they changed owners or what, but this pizza is very different from how I remembered it from years ago. Extremely greasy and very bland tasting. The wings sauce was more oily than saucy too. Very unfortunate. read more

I decided to give this place a whirl based on a recommendation about having the best pizza in the area. Maybe I'm just not a pizza fanatic because I didn't think the best was any more special than pizza hut, grotto, etc. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but nothing that knocked me off my feet. I was feeling something spicy to go along with my pizza. Spicy cheese fries seemed to be the way to go. Unfortunately, they seemed to be missing the spicyness. Not sure if they served us the wrong fries or what. read more

I live closer to the Pizza L'Oven in Exeter and I drive to this one because it is SOOO much better. Their food/pizza is cooked to perfection, the one in Exeter is more expensive and overall inferior. read more

So I taught I would give pizza them a try to see how good they are. The pizza was in a box with the bottom covered in peanut oil, Surprisingly none of the employees said anything besides veg oil when my wife asked, the menu has no mention of it. I had to call 911 for my 8 year old to go to the hospital. Her face was the size of a giant beach ball. Thank god for her 350.00!epipen. Is it pizza is hard to say, the cheese on it is super thin. It is like they slice it on a deli slicer to about the thickness of a finger nail. It had enough red stuff tasted like sugar, watered down hand crushed canned whole tomatoes and Italian seasoning to slide off when you take a slice out. The bottom was burnt, and it tasted it. Not sure why it would be burnt if they had enough time to watch a 55 inch tv showing a movie to workers you can at least watch a Pizza you keep putting into the two ovens about 4 times. Had to end up getting Wendys cause the other 2 kids and wife would not touch the fealty pie the 5 year old called it as he watched his sisters face puff up and sauce oozed off the cut he took out of the box. Guess we will have to stick to round pizza that they can eat and does not attack them. I have it one star because it was nasty, messy, and proved deadly to my 8 year old. If you like it more power too you, but the price for that small cut is not worth it. It is worth 1.30 a cut at best not almost 2.00 which is about what we pay for a slice of round mall pizza which is 3 times the size and has cheese on it. read more

I had this pizza a couple days ago and I'm not sure if it's because I'm from New Jersey but the pizza is comparable to a oversized kids lunchable. Wouldn't call it pizza to be honest. The cheese and bacon fries were actually very good. The staff was nice too and the place is cute. read more

My wife and I ate there based on the YELP reviews and we like our PIZZA with lots of sauce and cheese. SO! We ordered a 14 or 16 cut, I forget, and ordered extra sauce and extra cheese. Which was all good and fine regarding the taste and eating of the pizza. OUR BILL for a PIZZA with extra sauce and extra cheese with 1 pitcher of beer: $35!!!!!!!!!!!! Too expensive for my taste, as the extra sauce and extra cheese was an additional $8.00!!!!!!! , for cheese and sauce? WOW! read more

Enjoyed some Pizza L'oven for the first time in four years, and it was fantastic to see that during that span nothing about the pizza had changed. The thick, sweet Sicilian (with onions of course) is still among the best you'll find in this area. The menu as well has maintained its local friendliness, with 14-cut trays priced at $17.40 and specialty 16-inch pies starting at $10.75. Also, all the subs and sams are less than $8. And oh by the way, Mondays are wing night, where you can slam a dozen for $6.50. And a dozen of these is a LOT, as they are big both in size and flavor. Definitely my favorite in the area. read more

I've been wanting to stop in here for a long time because I've heard such good things about it. I was disappointed in the food. The service was good. Very nice and attentive waitstaff but the tray of Sicilian was sooo greasy and sloppy to eat. I was so disappointed. I know you need a bit of oil but this was overkill. It was bland and needed alot of salt. It wasn't awful but it was far from the great pizza I was hoping for. The mini potato cakes were amazing though. Yum! read more

My favorite pizza place in PA. The crust here is sooooo good. Nice, thick and crispy. The wings here are also exceptional. Whenever I'm in the area I always make sure to checkout Pizza L'oven. The wait time here is average, the parking lot can be a little crowded as it picks up but I've never had to wait long for a spot, the food quality is very consistent, and all of the staff is friendly. Definitely a pizza place I always recommend. read more

Simply horrible..no taste. Greasy beyond belief. Somerhing bad happened. Not the same pizza we knew from the past. read more

I've been eating here for 3 decades. Whenever I go back to PA, Pizza L'Oven is a must. While the pizza may be inconsistent at times, it's still delicious. The wings are usually on point, too. In fact, this year, will be the 30th anniversary of when I had my first chicken wing, and it was at Pizza L'Oven where my love affair with wings started. I would suggest eating at the restaurant versus getting take out, though. Pizza boxes have a way of making your pizza soggy and giving the pizza a slightly weird taste. read more

I have been eating this pizza for nearly 4 decades, as it is just down the street from my (sadly, no longer) grandparent's house. Don't get it as often as I would like when visiting other family in the area, because my Dad inexplicably prefers Grotto and we usually go along with him because he lives in Florida and can't otherwise get his Grotto fix. Taste buds change as you get older. So, I took my then boyfriend, now husband here 7 years ago to get an outsider's perspective. He loves it. So, it isn't just my nostalgic bias. And what is not to love? Lovely, crunchy buttery crust. Gooey cheese. Nice tomato sauce. Get it with onions and only order the pizza though, you'll be disappointed by anything else. read more

Try their thin crust whit pizza with broccoli, and side order of crispy wings hot sauce on the side!

I've been eating this pizza my whole life pretty inconsistently - yet it's one of those must-stops if you're in the area. I would actually give it a 3 if it weren't for that scrumptiously delicious oily and crispy crust that I have yet to find anywhere else. I agree that this is an acquired taste for the style of pizza it is - some people rave about it and others don't get the hype. I've never had the round - order the Sicilian if you wanna see what the place is known for. If you like a crispy, crunchy crust and TONS of cheese, then yes, I would recommend it. However, the sauce actually leaves little to be desired (sort of watery in consistency and very sweet), but I just can't enough of that crust. If a single element of a dish is good enough to overcome the rest of the meal's shortcomings, it's worth mentioning and trying. I will say that the full tray for $20 is pretty pricey for pizza, but I feel with the thick crust and layers of cheese, it makes it totally filling and worth it. Order 1/2 plain and 1/2 with the raw white onions - there's something about the onion that brings the whole thing together. As for the rest of the meal, I'll break it down. The decor hasn't been updated since like '93, with mauve booths and mirrors and fake plants and faux-gold plating everywhere you look. The plastic plates are glorified school lunch/camp mess trays, but the pitchers of soda invoke pizza parties from days of yore, so that's always a nice touch. The "edible salad bowl" is tasty, but more like "edible broken shards on a plate upon which we place a messy AF mound of salad you will struggle to eat." I ordered the taco salad for whatever reason and, in keeping with the very laidback atmosphere, was provided with pre-packaged sour cream and taco sauce on the side. With that said, the salad was actually very tasty when it all came together, despite being a royal, uncut mess. My cousin ordered the buffalo chicken boneless bites to start and they were very tasty (also served with pre-packaged blue cheese). Presentation leaves nothing to be desired - just slosh on a plate. But once you sink your teeth into that crust, none of that matters anymore. For 4 adults and a kid, our bill was legit only like $44, which ain't bad at all. For a quick, easy family style establishment with decent food, it's worth it if you're in the area, but be forewarned: the place packs up FAST and there will be a wait, so come early. read more

I can't put into words how bad my experience was here. Hostess dropped menus off at the table and walked away before me or my fiancé even sat down. Waitress finally came over after 10 mins because she was up by the food window eating in between taking people's orders. She was an absolute snob. Our cheese fries if that's what you'd call them were soggy like old McDonalds fries and the cheese on the side was clearly out of a can. Now on my way in I asked a gentleman leaving how the pizza was his response was "GREAT". Now me and my fiancé are from Philadelphia and idk if there's something in the water in NEPA but I've had better pizza in a digiorno that's frozen I wouldn't feed my cat this shit do your self and save yourself a hour or 2 of your life and DO NOT COME HERE! I'm going to find the closest toilet to throw this food up read more

This places has great pizza and wings. I wish you can get toppings on smaller orders and not just whole trays of pizza. Feel like you are forces to eat plain pizza. Other then that excellent service and flavor. read more

This is my favorite restaurant and would love to give it five stars. There is however one thing missing from this menu a KIDS MEAL. When we go here we end up spending $8.00 on an adult chicken finger meal. Other than that it is by far the best wings and pizza I have ever had and I've had alot. The atmosphere is good the staff is outstanding also any other food we have ordered has been great. I can't wait to go eat here again only I probably won't take the kids. read more

Decided to finally try this place after a couple years of living nearby. After what I had heard I had high expectations and sadly was not impressed. I ordered a "full" sicilian with onion, olives, pepperoni, and mushrooms. If you like sicilian pizza then do not stop here. The pizza was extremely greasy to the point where I could not taste the sauce, cheese, or toppings. They manage to accomplish this lack of taste while also greatly overpricing for the food quality, ambience, and service. Not the worst but also nothing special. read more

As others have stated, best Sicilian pizza in the valley, and same with the wings. Some reviews here say the pizza is "nothing special", but I'm not sure what exactlythose people consider to be better than this. I guess everyone has their individual tastes, but for our family, Pizza L'oven is the tops. read more

I grew up with Victory Pig Pizza and then Pizza Lovin Pizza -- same style pie. It is delicious and always a 1-2x stop when we're in the area. Can't really comment on the wait staff since we usually order "to go" but did sit at least once several years ago and didn't have any complaints. read more

Love everything about this place. The food never let's you down. Ed sure can make a a hell of a pizza.

Love this place!!!! The wings are AMAZING!!! And I'm from CA. And the white broccoli pizza is unique a must try. Good prices, nice staff.

Great pizza and very good wings. Not the dry hard chewy kind you find places. Its also a nice calm spot. Even has a fireplace insert to give it a softer feel. read more
