First strike was when I ordered a plain pizza and it came looking like it was 3 days old. Second strike was when we ordered a pizza for takeout, opened the box and it was nothing like we ordered. Took it back in and when we got the new one, it was wrong as well. The chicken on the chicken sandwich was like rubber. Not great experiences and they offered nothing to make up for it. Editing this review to respond to the owner. I definitely went to the right location lol I live in the back mountain. We ordered the supreme pizza online got to the restaurant and the pizza was , had to wait and come back for the correct . Went back and the pizza was loaded with huge green peppers, something that was not part of the order. The chicken sandwich was made with such a horrible chicken. My husband could not even eat it. He said it was like rubber. I even asked the kid who had glasses and dark blonde hair the counter if maybe we could have the plain that they made the first time to make up for the time we had to wait and for the fact that the Pizza the day before was like three days old and he went to get the original pizza and came back and said it's gone. They must have remade your new Pizza with that one. The kid was nice, it wasn't his but I can't see how this could've been made wrong twice. My family has enjoyed take-out pizzas here for years but the quality and consistency has dropped off from what it used to be. The most recent pizza was the worst yet, badly overcooked to the point of crust resembling cardboard in taste and texture, and little sauce. It reminded us of frozen pizza, and not the good kind. Stopped in and ordered a cheesesteak wrap with French fries. $17!!! The fries weren't fully cooked and the wrap was some type of gooey bread. For $17, this food sucked! I haven't been there for awhile and now I remember why. I won't be back. Very disappointed. read more

I enjoyed the broccoli salad and the Grand Ma Pizza is different and very good. I also enjoyed the broccoli pizza as well. The staff is friendly and the prices are very fair. I rate this place a 4.5 as the ambiance isn't great, but the food and service are. The wind blows debris into the entrance so that needs to be addressed, but is understandable. Pizza is always dry and orders for pickups always take longer to make. I have waited 45 minutes at times.

I stopped here last Sunday before the start of their business day and even though they were not open yet they graciously made me a large pie to go! Not only was this totally unexpected and truly appreciated the pizza was fabulous! Way better than a grotto pizza! Everyone asked where I got it and I will always highly recommend Dinos to anyone visiting the area. They were so kind and so accommodating! read more

I called and ordered three pizza for pick up (a white, a Sicilian and a Grandma) and was told they'd be ready in 45 minutes. Arrived at Dino's 45 minutes later. Paid. Was told it would be a few minutes. Only one pizza was waiting on top of the oven. Waited ten minutes, asked what was up. Was told "a few more minutes." It was not crowded or busy (a bad omen on a Saturday at 6:00 pm) and the ovens were mostly empty. After ANOTHER ten minutes I asked again. I was told it would be ten more minutes and the pizza maker said "Sicilian takes 45 minutes." I explained that I had ordered well over an hour ago, and the pizza maker very aggressively yelled at me "Do you want it? Do you want it?" The very pleasant woman working the register refunded my money, apologized profusely, and gave me the one pizza that was finished. It was the white pizza, cold and not very good, but it held hunger at bay until we ordered from Grotto (not great pizza, but ready on time in twenty minutes). You want a good Grandma pie, make the trip to Basillico's in Dickson City. I prefer not to pay people to yell at me when they're the ones that screwed up, so I'm done with Dino's read more

Stopped in today for lunch with our granddaughter. We ordered a whole pizza and thought we'd have to wait a while, but it was ready very fast. We noticed it looked different, not bad, just different than we usually get there. It was great! The crust was perfect! Service was wonderful as well. Even though this location was not around when I was a kid, I still have fond memories of Dino's locations at the Wyoming Valley Mall. They made 'movie and pizza' dates so easy. That being said, this is a good restaurant in the right place. Let's face it, the Wyoming Valley has a ton of good pizza places. Dino's may not be the best of all of them, but they can definitely compete with most other places in the Back Mountain. Being that it is in Shavertown, it places itself in an area without a consistently good place. In addition, being able to buy pizza buy the slice instead of by the pie is something that I would have loved during my days at good ole' Dallas Senior High School. And of course having other Italian dishes already prepared makes them somewhat unique to the area. read more

Great pizza and steak and cheese stromboli! Bread is soft and fresh. May be my favorite stromboli. Only thing is that they never have the full menu available. How do you run out of breadsticks or garlic knots? I attempted to order a thin crust margarita pizza and he said they did not have. Seems odd to me. read more

Love this place. Excellent value and delicious pizza. You can order by the slice or a full pie. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is perfection and their 2 plain pies for $16.99 can't be beat. Their pasta is some of the best I have had. Their penne pasta sauce is absolutely perfect, creamy and delicious. Their chicken parm is a huge portion made with great cheese and a delicious marinara sauce. Their cold pasta salads are all excellent and they never keep you waiting long. We make the drive from the lake past numerous other sub par pizzerias and are always happy with Dino's. read more

I'm unsure if this is the same DIno's from the Wyoming Valley Mall but if it is, the Food Court can take a lesson from this place. Nothing special. While they have a great selection of meals, everything is crazy over priced. What you would pay for some of their salads (in equivalent portion size) is easily 2x as much as the specialty salad place. Staff is blah! read more

I stopped in for dinner... I ordered the Penne with Vodka Sauce and "Garlic Knots". The Pasta came to the table and I was looking at Soup. The sauce needed a spoon to eat it. The sauce dripped from my folk as if they just kept adding water to it. It was microwaved, and served. Never in my life have I ever had soupy Vodka Sauce. The Garlic Knots as I ordered were twisted pieces of bread. I think they forgot to add garlic to the Garlic knots. I improvised with some parmesean cheese and garlic powder. The pizza was made hours ago an looked completely hard and old. I asked the kid when the pizza was made and he said various hours ago. Yea, it's all made in the morning. It's 5:00 pm. Gross!! Stopped to get a $25 gift certificate for a birthday gift. The worker said it would be $26.50. FOR A $25 GIFT CERTIFICATE? I said NO, there should not be tax added to a gift certificate. She argued with me that she was told to do it that way. I asked if I would not be charged tax when the certificate was used and she had no idea what I was talking about. I am pretty sure it is ILLEGAL to charge sales tax on a gift certificate. Next time I'll get a LEGAL, SALES TAX FREE gift certificate up the road at Tomasino's. read more
