Calling Angelo's is a journey, they are operating off of a single land line so you usually have to call 2, 3, or seriously on busy nights or a Friday during lent 20+ times. From there you tell them the size, crust type (regular or thick), sauce type (regular or sweet) and then any toppings. Be prepared to wait at least 30 mins, but in many cases over an hour. While this sounds like an awful experience, it's certainly worth it. This pizza incredible. Last time I stopped by it was cash only, but there's an ATM. When you go in, there's a counter up front and a cooler stocked with drinks. The space has a few tables, but most people are doing takeout. Angelo's, while it's not easy, I love you!

Welcome to the best day of my week everyone, pizza Friday. Today I am at a place that I have never…read morebeen to before, yep first time. I am at Teberio's in Wilkes-Barre. They are known from what I read online is their Scillian style pizza, so I had to try it. I walked in a little after five and there was no open table in their dining room, their bar was packed, there were two high tables that were open, one cleaned off and one not, so that's where I ended up. Seeing this place so packed and people still walking in you know it has to be good. The bartender who doubled as the bus boy / girl / server was running her but off, she deserves a raise or at least a bonus, she was on her game keeping tables clear and taking care of the guests. I ordered a tray with onions, and I added extra cheese. This came out nice and hot, I noticed compared to other Scillian pizza places in the area Teberio's was a lot thinner yet keeping the crust nice and crisp. With one bite you can taste the sauce onions and cheese, the cheese had a nice blend to it. If I had to actually rate this experience, I would have to give it a 10 out of 10. I ordered a slice of cheese and a white slice with broccoli. Both were of decent size, and were warmed in the oven before serving. The cheese slice was absolutely delicious, man I missed pizza like this, I cannot get it where I live now. It was hot, greasy as a good cheese slice should be, but not overly so, the crust was thin but crisp, with excellent texture and chew. The white slice wasn't as good, but still delicious and quite hearty. It had cooled a bit so that was a factor, had it been as hot as the cheese slice, I'm sure it would have been truly excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Speaking with I believe he may have been one of the owners, not sure, they have been in business since 2004, so I am not sure how I never heard of this place. Now walking in the first thing I noticed was even though they were steady and serving customers this place was spot clean, the workers were very friendly, and you felt welcomed into this pizzeria. Now I walked up to the counter where I ordered their cheese steak pizza, i didn't realize until it came out was it's a double crust, I don't believe I ever had double crust pizza before. This pizza was packed full of meat, cheese, along with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Ladies and gentlemen this was very, very delicious, and very filling. Needless to say, I did not eat it all, I brought the remaining home and gave it to my neighbor. If you never tried Nello's before I definitely recommend.
