We have been coming to TC for about 4 years for their white pizza. We thought the best in town. In 2026, they definetely changed something and it has got to be the cheese blend. My wife and I have a friend who lives in Trucksville. We wanted to try something new and he suggested T C Riley's. First thing I noticed is the place is Huge!!! Can't tell from drive by. They renovated since I was last here, and it looks a lot nicer with the added deck outside. Their Sicilian pizza is still amazing as it has always been. Decent all around, definitely try the pizza, some of the best. Bar is usually packed so get here early if you want a good spot. My friend and I met here for dinner on a Wednesday evening (during lent). They had a lot of Lenten specials and the Pagach seemed to be a big seller and smelled incredible! Maybe next time. I was craving chicken wings (no religious ties here so YES! I ate meat!!! lol) and I ordered a dozen. You can get two different wing sauces, so I chose plain 'ol hot and a sweet chili sauce. OMG the sweet chili sauce was delicious! I ate those first and they totally spoiled me towards the regular hot so I took those home for my guy. The hot was good, it's just that the flavors didn't "mesh" well after eating the sweet chili sauce. Service was great and the ice cold SBC Blueberry from the tap hit the spot. Had the pizza there twice. I'm not one of those people who loves fried pizza. Honestly, most of it is just greasy crap. However, this is like a good pizza that's fried. It's heavy. I also made a mistake (on my end) and ordered extra cheese the second time. Don't do that. It's too much. That said, sweet sauce was great. It's somehow greasy and not terrible. My family and I have been enjoying T.C. Riley's foods for almost 10 years. Never had a bad meal. Served fresh and hot. The primary hits for us are their Sicilian pizza with its light dough and crunchy crust. The Buffalo Wings: hot, garlic & butter and their spicy mix Red Garlic kick butt and take names. Riley's Signature "Space Fries" are a unique treat to blow your socks off and spin your Underoos around. We discovered Riley's while living in the Back Mountain but still make special trips after moving to South Wilkes-Barre. Well worth it. They constantly offer specials on food and their wide variety of beer, lagers and ale. And don't forget Thursday's reduced price on pizza. read more

Was our first time getting food there and won't be our last. The food was great ,the service was pleasant and the place was clean and also prices were very reasonable. We ordered pizza with extra cheese, the pizza is the pan fried kind and they do use peanut oil . The pizza crust was crisp on the edges like pan pizza should be. The turkey club was not skimped on and the fries looked like they were fresh cut fries. We didn't have to wait long for our food either which was a big plus. If you haven't gone there yet give it a try don't let the outside of the building deceive you nicer on the inside read more

This is our "go to" when we are in the Back Mountain. Everything is always served hot and fresh. Pizza and wings are some of the best we've had. And make sure to try the space fries. The timing of the food coming out of the kitchen can be a little off sometimes, but the food makes up for it. read more

The food was good with a few exceptions. We ordered a burger, chicken fingers, stromboli and pizza. The burger was ordered medium and did come out that way however blood from the burger dripped all over the bun which was very unappealing. The stromboli and pizza came out a half hour after the other food so we ended up sharing what was out and when I asked about it the waitress said it was being cooked in a different oven. The service was just downright awful. We were there at about 6:00pm on a Friday which I understand is a prime time but maybe more wait staff should be added then. Ordered a salad with shrimp for a price of 9.95. Received very little lettuce not much else and 5 shrimp that were cut in half to make it look like there was more. Very dissatisfied for this price. I have ordered other things there that were not overpriced like a SALAD. read more

I would not recommend this place if you plan on eating in. 5 people in our party. 4 order all different foods. Pizza, waffle fries and wings for 2 comes out. About 10-15 minutes later the chicken finger and fries for 1 comes out. The 2 others sit and wait. Trying to be patient. Finally after about another 10 minutes or so go by we ask. Waitress says let me check. She says "less than 5 minutes". Timed it was about 7 minutes. After this time I said just box them and take them off the bill. We can't do that. WHAT!!!!! We just sat here waiting for our food, while the others at are table are eating and basically done at this point. REALLY!!! So they take the beverages and waffle fries off the total. WOOOO!!! We get all our food and proceed to leave. Husband told waitress. It wouldn't have been bad if it would have come out at least close to the others food that was ordered. She says "we bring food out when ready" Understood. Then you need to learn to have your cooks time it so that the food for the same table comes out in a timely fashion. Her on comment was you haven't even been here 45 minutes. I said that has nothing to do with it. You don't bring other peoples food out and then others at the table sit there for half hour at least waiting for theirs. I worked in a restaurant and still do work in food service. This is no way to run a business. And have heard this has happened to other people!!!! Food was ok! But just that experiences will not eat there again. RONI read more

We Ordered boneless bites at 5:50pm.... come 6:50 pm the waitress came over to tell us that she put in an order of wings instead of the bites and asked if we would rather them instead. I decided to wait and asked if she could put a rush on them. She proceeded to tell me that she was unable to put the order in ahead of everyone else and I would be waiting awhile. By 7:40 my food finally came out, needless to say she did not receive a good tip from me. I understand everyone makes mistakes.however own up to it and try to make it right. She should have rushed the order right then instead of me waiting almost another hour longer... nothing like waiting 2 hours for an order of bonless bites... read more
