    Pizza Antica - Caesar salad

Started off with the Caesar salad and calamari. Both were good. Perhaps not the best calamari, but good. We had the option to have the salad as a wedge or chopped. We went with chopped. For the price, it should have been bigger. The margherita pizza was yummy. All in all a good meal.

Service was great. Food arrived fast. It was pretty loud and busy when i ate here. Bathroom was very clean and didn't smell shitty like most. Food was pretty good. Gnocchi and pesto is always a nice thing. Pizza dough was light and crispy, not heavy. The cocktails could be better. I didn't enjoy the old fashioned, and the tropical storm wasn't great. Overall, food was good enough to outweigh the drinks. Next time I'll order a beer.

Cozy Italian spot. The lighting is soft and relaxing. A calm yet vibrant place to enjoy some great food. The service is excellent. From the welcoming smile from the hostess to our server Christina. Very nice and make great recommendations. Started with the meatballs. Then enjoyed apple arugula salad. Both were very good. Enjoyed a calabrese sausage pizza added some pepperoni and it was amazing. The dough is so good and not heavy at all like most pizza places. Great flavors perfect size to share with someone. Washed it down with a blackberry thyme lemonade which was really tasty. Refreshing. Finished off dinner with some dessert I didn't. need. Lol. But who could resist an affogato and a chocolate olive oil cake. Loved it. So good. Stop by and enjoy a great meal in a great environment. They have inside and outside seating if you choose.

I've never been to this location before but the pizza is just as good! I went with the margarita this time but one of their best is the potato pizza! Their crust is really delicious and the ingredients are super fresh. Our waiter was super friendly and constantly checking on us. I love the inside as well, it is super cozy and welcoming and they have a little bit of outdoor seating as well. Definitely would come back again!

Heirloom Potato -- delicious, the potatoes are thick and have a nice softness when you bite into the pizza. I hardly tasted the truffle oil flavor. Fennel Sausage -- a standard sausage pizza. Cacio E Pepe Fries -- nice, cheesy and peppery flavored fries. The seasoning was perfect, it coated all of the fries.

I was concerned about my mom's gluten allergy. I called before I came. They serve gluten free options for those that cannot eat wheat. I had a good time here with my family. All the food we had ordered was really good. Thank you for having options for my mom.

The most perrrrfect place to have a catch up dinner with your friends. The outdoor seating with the heater turned on is so peaceful and amazing. Service was quick and friendly. We all shared a Margarita Pizza and Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato salad. Salad was as expected and the pizza was sooo delicious. I had been craving a thin crust and the tomato sauce was perfect. Our friend ordered the Spaghetti with meatballs, he didn't like the texture and thought the sauce was passion-less. But pizza was great!

We haven't been out to Lafayette in quite a while, but we finally got a chance to visit a friend who moved here. After our visit, we headed out for dinner at Pizza Antica in their downtown area on Mt Diablo Blvd. There's a metered parking lot behind the restaurant. Since our friend had her fur baby, we asked for a table in their patio area. Since it was a cool evening, the hostess turned on the overhead heater. We checked out menu and decided to share a salad and a couple of pizzas. Our waiter Justin welcomed us and answered our menu questions as we placed our order. Apple and Wild Arugula Salad - The arugula and apple slices was dressed with a lemon vinaigrette and topped with parmesan. Tasty salad but felt the portion was on the small side for the price. Fennel Sausage - the thin crust pizza had slices of Portobello mushrooms and purple onion with minced fennel sausage. Good tasting pizza with a soft chewy crust, but wished with sausage was not minced. Heirloom Potato - covered with slices of golden potato with some caramelized onions and drizzle of white truffle oil. This potato pizza was unique and was delicious. My favorite of the two pizzas. Justin checked on us a couple of times and brought us another water carafe. Very good friendly service. A nice restaurant in downtown for good thin crust pizza.

I had a lovely dinner at Pizza Antica. There was barely a 5 minute wait time for a weeknight dinner for walk-in. What stood out the most was how fresh the ingredients were. The servers were extremely pleasant to talk to and gave great suggestions. They even have outdoor seating with heaters. For appetizers I enjoyed their house-made focaccia and di Stefano burrata. The focaccia was perfectly warm, soft and had a hint of rosemary. The burrata was delicious as well. For main course I went with their fennel sausage pizza which I devoured to the last bit and their potato ricotta gnocchi which was perfectly cooked as well. I would definitely visit them again and would like to try their popular heirloom potato pizza.

This is the best Napoli style thin crust pizza in the Contra Costa county. We have eaten here several times over the last 20 years. The venue is nice and the service is good. Check it out.

I came here on a Friday night with my fiancé and parking was a huge struggle. We finally found a spot a few blocks away after doing a few circles and were able to snag a table before more parties came. Compared to the Santana Row location, I liked the layout and interior more. There was a lot more open space and lighting coming in, plus I liked the exposed brick on the walls. I appreciated how bubbly and attentive our server was. We ordered the fennel sausage pizza and made our own with pepperoni and mushroom. Both of the pizzas were good, but not as great compared to the Santana Row location. There was just something missing. We had a few slices leftover and they didn't taste as good the next day. I'm glad we checked out this location but we'd rather make the trek to the Santana Row location if we're craving it.

Came here for a post hike lunch. Food was amazing. Tried the soup, spaghetti, pizza, focaccia, and their pistachio cake. It wasn't busy so service was great too. They even brought a water bowl for our doggie! The inside was very nice, has an open kitchen. The outside was great too, they had heating for us :) Lastly, the price was really good for what we received in terms of service, taste of food, amount of food, and vibes. Would definitely come back!

I have loved this restaurant since it first opened in Lafayette 20 years ago. We recently moved back and it's just as good as I remember. The food is delicious, the drinks are tasty, and the service is great. My 5 year old has severe food allergies and I was particularly appreciative of how thoroughly they checked with the kitchen about what was safe for her to eat. They also got her order in and on the table very quickly. We love the pizzas and the salads with the piadinas. Can't wait to go back!

We walked in and stood right behind the person being served at the register. At the time, there weren't anyone else in line. After several minutes, there were others and they went to the other side of the counter (which is supposedly the right side) and those people were served first while we were literally staring the server in their eyes. Next, my 7 yo asked for a cup for water, they proceeded to the drinks fountain and inadvertently selected some clear liquid, supposedly soda. My daughter does not know how to drink soda mind you. From the counter, the server called out my daughter saying loudly those cups are for water. She just barely put the drink down on the table and hasn't even had a chance to realize she pour the wrong drink. This experience has traumatized them being called out in public like they were thieves. We ordered several items but we did not have the stomach to eat the food anymore. We just took our food Togo since we already paid for it. I will not make any comments about the food because the service is really important and they failed miserably!
