Finally some good pizza back in my life. I really like this place. Delicious pizzas and salads along with friendly customer service. My favorite pizza spot today.

Fresh sourdough.... you can't beat this pizza! New favorite pizza spot in the east bay! The service is top notch, family driven! Good place to catch a giants game

Super straight forward menu and pricing , call to order, pay on collection. Person over the phone was super chirpy and got my long order first time round. 25 minutes later , our order was ready - easy to park. Once home we all enjoyed the delicious sourdough crust and toppings.

They make 3 pizzas for slices, the day I went they had cheese, vegetarian & sausage n mushroom. I ask about creating your own slice & was told its best to call in for that & a pizza will be made for your particular slice. The pizza is super thin & tasted really good, slices are big, very nice staff and I got a free slice for 1st time customer.

I had a really good experience here when I stopped by for a couple slices to go on a Saturday night. I was promptly greeted by the friendly young staff before checking out my options for slices. I ordered what looked like a Detroit style pepperoni slice and a regular sausage and mushroom slice. Both were solid! The slices aren't cheap, but all the ingredients they used, including the pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, cheese, and tomato sauce all tasted like high quality to me. The crust was the star of the show though in my opinion. It took me a while to try out this place, but I'm glad I did. It's great to have a quality pizza-by-the-slice place here in Orinda. The only regret I had was not asking for a well-done or extra crispy bake on my slices. I'll be sure to do that next time.

The photo does it no justice. The crust is as authentic to NY Style pizza as you can find. The sauce is mild and not acidic, nor tart. It's a smooth taste with the perfect blend of cheese. If you are contemplating trying them, do it!

I was working in Orinda, and we decided to try a newer spot called 8 Moose Pizzeria. They sell one size of pies and slices. We each ordered a vegetarian slice, and it was really tasty! They have the thinnest, crispiest sourdough crust I have ever tried. Yum! In addition to their pizza, they also offer pre-packaged, grab-and-go salads. The menu is intentionally limited at the moment; they plan to expand their offerings in the future. Here are their topping choices: Pepperoni Sausage Bell Peppers Mushrooms Black Olives Onions Pepperoncini It's a pretty small spot, maybe six tables inside. Each table has the usual pizza seasonings and Mike's Hot Honey! Boy, was that hot honey great on a pizza! Even though it's a tiny spot, they had a constant stream of customers coming in for slices. They have TVs for your sports viewing pleasure. They offer beer and wine. https://8moosepizzeria.com/

It has now become a bit of a favorite family outing for us. - pick up kiddo from school, and go get a slice each. The pizza is great on all dimensions - crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. And I can't recommend enough their ranch dressing for dipping the crust edge. The atmosphere is relaxed with good vibes. A local pizza parlor cuteness, if there was a jukebox I would think I'm back to the 80s, but in a good way.

Vegetarian slice packaged for takeout (atop a margherita slice) - both yummy!

Hit it on a Sunday late afternoon, which turned out to be the move if you want a quiet early dinner. We ordered the grilled fish tacos, the beet salad, and the mushroom pizza, and everything was tasty. The fish was cooked right on, flaky and clean, with fresh pico on top. Plenty of food for the three dishes between us. Service was good and the staff was friendly without hovering. The space has a cool wood and corrugated metal look, with sports gear and brewery signs on the walls. There's a full bar with a solid beer list, a decent wine selection, and indoor or patio seating depending on your mood. Valet parking out front is a nice touch. Our server said Friday and Saturday nights get packed, with live music and good people watching, so the vibe shifts depending on when you go. Sunday afternoon was mellow and easy. If you want the energy, hit it on a weekend. If you want to actually hear the person across from you, go when we did. Going back to check out the live music for myself.

We asked for sugar and condiments finally had to leave the table and go to a work station to obtain the items. Our food server dripped attitude probably because he was so busy, and it was evident given his shorts and footwear enabled him to run from table to table. The food runners and bussers were difficult to understand. The 4th Bore is there primarily for the local Orinda people who are fawned over. If you're not a local don't waste your time. I'm sure the evening service is better but our lunch wasn't very enjoyable.

A slice of pepperoni pizza from Cybelle's with a bottle of Jolt back in the 90's always seemed to turn even the most crappy days around. I've lived in Sacramento for many years now, but we always try to eat here on the rare occasion when we're in town. My wife and kids all love the food here. Last weekend we decided to spend the day at Montclair Park, and when I asked everyone where they wanted to eat, Cybelle's was the unanimously choice. We ended up ordering the largest size pizza they had, with pepperoni and sausage. With drinks, everything came out to a little over $50. Yea, it's pricey, but most pizza places are these days. We decided to sit upstairs, and our pizza was brought to us quickly. I'd say it was under fifteen minutes. After all these years, their pizza is still on point. Everyone's hangry vibe disappeared with the first bite. I think we only had a couple of slices left over by the time we left. And I'm not quite sure those leftover pieces even survived the night. I'd say the only two drawbacks about Cybelle's are that #1, they don't have a soda fountain machine (you are limited to bottled and canned beverages). And #2, the upstairs seating area is too warm. Having a fan or two up there would be really helpful, especially in the summer. Overall, eating at Cybelle's just makes me happy, and that alone is worth five stars. Everytime I come back to the village, I recognize it less and less. It's comforting to know that some of best parts of what I remember from the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's still remain.
