Order their ravs. Not too bad. Garlic bread was a solid B. They have a Greek salad special and I asked to add chicken. I wish I took a picture because it seriously was mystery meat. Salad had veggies that went bad with black spots on it. So would not recommend. read more

I absolutely love visiting PA for pickup! In fact my partner and I visit there so often with the $5 Northampton Deal ($5 for a large one topping pizza, a real steal!) that the staff knows us well. We've discontinued ordering Dominoes and prefer this place instead because the food doesn't make us sick (unless of course we try to eat too much of the pizza), and almost always tastes much better than all of the other places I've eaten at. I can't usually speak about their delivery time/quality of food, but I have enjoyed the convenience of their closeness to campus for pickup, something every other pizza place is disadvantaged at. Aside from their delicious handmade pizza dough PA isn't super quality food- though I usually do get the pizza, I've enjoyed the occasional very greasy grinder sandwich. The northampton $5 deal makes it completely worth the slightly higher price than other local places, and while I was expecting a one topping to be bland, Pizza Amore makes a thoroughly delicious pizza, even plain! read more

Just a great, local pizza shop. Everything is made fresh on the premises, and the pizza has that "goldilocks" ratio of cheese to sauce to crust. Not too much, not too little. Just right. Easy pick up or delivery. Can't ask for more. read more

Don't order delivery! They are the slowest i have ever faced. A weekday order place at 11am didn't arrive until 12:45 and was cold! Completely unacceptable and we will never order from them again. Very inconsistent and when you call to find out why it took an hour and 45 minutes to deliver on a Wednesday they give you the usual "its on the way" so you wait another 30 mins, call again and get the same routine. Save your time and money, there are plenty of other places in Northampton and Florence that care about their customer service. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE Out of pure laziness I sometimes order delivery from mediocre restaurants in town, but after many many mistakes with my orders, terrible customer service, and a menu of utterly mediocre food I have decided I will never order from them again. There is nothing special at this place, they are totally inconsistent in their recipes, their service is awful, they use gross ingredients and they mess up your order a lot (but could care less). Sam's Pizza (open late on weekends), Roberto's in downtown Northampton and Pizza Factory in Florence (they also deliver to Noho and have similar hours) are WAY BETTER. If they weren't right next door to Smith College this place would be out of business. Again I always ordered from Pizza Amore out of laziness... I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN Let me tell you about the food : Fried Chicken dinner = Average pre-frozen fried chicken, some crappy iceberg lettuce with one slice of tomato and cucumber, a soggy sub roll soaked in butter with garlic powder and a pile of half-cooked soggy steak fries Pizza/Calzones = Average at best, terrible at worst... absolutely unreliable that you will get the same recipe you ordered last time... they're calzones are small but cost 11.00 and they are (seriously) 1/3 bread sometimes... I have gotten calzones where the shredded cheese is cold and unmelted on the inside. Falafel = Average nothing special falafel soaked in bland sauce in a soggy unedible pita bread Subs = Sub-par bread hurriedly slapped together... nothing special here. read more

I wish I could give them a zero for customer service. We have been loyal high tipping patrons, but tonight we waited over an hour on a "40" minute delivery. We called and they said in their computers it said to deliver at 11 p.m. They didn't offer to "correct" the situation other than to deliver a very late full price pizza. I've only ever ordered delivery and in the past my experiences with their food and delivery service have been fine. However, after a recent order a delivery driver sent me a horrifying and intimidating text message, one that I view to be a THREAT of physical violence, after I declined to tip (for good reason). To Pizza Amore's credit, the owner was very apologetic and agreed to reimburse me and said that he planned to fire the delivery driver. However, the experience was horrifying to the point that I still feel unsafe-- I don't plan on ordering from them again. As for the incident, around 20 minutes after I placed the order, the driver texted me saying that he was arriving. I headed downstairs and waited inside the glass door for a bit but did not see anyone, so I went back upstairs with the expectation that I would receive a call upon his actual arrival (their drivers have always done this after sending an initial text--I live in a large building where you can't buzz up). I never got a call, so around 15 minutes later I contacted the restaurant and was told that the driver's call had not gone through and that he was on his way back to my house. I received a call from him soon after this and received my order. However, I decided not to tip him because of what I saw as being very poor service. There are a few reasons for this-- first of all, I expect the person delivering my food to get out of the car and COME TO THE DOOR to wait for me, not to wait around in the car where I cannot see them, not to drive around the block until they see me at the door. Secondly, if a call does not go through, the delivery person should CALL AGAIN. It isn't that hard, but it didn't happen, so I declined to tip. I am literally dumfounded. I have always given decent tips to Pizza Amore drivers, but the one time that I choose not to tip because of crappy service, I receive a horrifying text message. read more

It's a college pizza joint. Pizza is decent so are the subs. Service and price are great and it gets the job done - nuff said.

The pizza is alright (not as good as other places in town) but all of the delivery experiences I've had with them have been bad. The first time, the lady delivering my pizza texted me instead of calling me and then left after not even walking up to the front door or ringing the doorbell. I called and complained but nobody cared. The second time, the lady delivering my pizza was rude because she thought I wasn't going to tip her. Pizza was also room temperature. By far the worst grinder I have ever ordered. I ordered the ham and turkey, there was only one small piece of turkey in the sandwich. The worst part was the bread, it was beyond stale, it literally crumbled when I bit it. I had to throw out the roll and just eat the loose meat and cheese. When I went to school here, I ate a fair share of Pizza Amore. Their pizza by the slice is good, and some of their whole pizzas are also good. The Amore Special in particular, as well as their Hawaiian pizza, are good bets. Their chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and some of their sandwiches are also good.
