My husband and I order from here fairly regularly and the quality of the food has been top notch every time! I will say that the portion sizes have shrunk considerably in recent months compared to when we first started getting takeout from here--the shawarma plates used to be so generously portioned that I'd have a leftover meal for the next day after only finishing half of my order, but I can finish the plate now no problem. The styrofoam containers got much more shallow so you don't get as much for your money, unfortunately. That said, their chicken shawarma and rice are so delicious, and the garlic spread is perfectly creamy and flavorful. Easy online ordering system, often with BOGO deals that enable you to still get a lot of bang for your buck if you time it right. Pita Paradise is delicious! They're hidden in a small parking lot where you cant really notice their restaurant. Thankfully I found them on yelp and the numerous amount of 5 star reviews caught my attention. The customer service was 10/10, although the cook seemed a bit stern when answering questions he looked like he did his best to be kind and understanding it was my first time here. I can't really say anything bad here, all is excellent! The establishment is small, but remodeled for an inviting clean atmosphere, with several pleasant turkish decorations. Parking is avaliable directly in front of the establishment. The food is excellent. This place stands out when compared to other Mediterranean spots in the area. What a hidden gem! Excellent food and super welcoming and kind service. The food is made fresh to order, and the little bit of a wait is well worth it. I had the chicken kabob plate, which came with tender and flavorful kabob, delicious rice, a grilled onion and pepper, grilled and lightly seasoned pita, and two sides. Furthermore, the baklavas, which I had looked forward to as a sweet conclusion, were disappointingly stale and dry, suggesting they were not freshly prepared. The service throughout our visit was also quite slow, contributing to a less than ideal dining experience. Additionally, a staff member, who appeared to be in a supervisory role and emerged from the kitchen, did not offer any form of greeting or acknowledgement to us, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The almost entirely empty dining room during what one might expect to be a busier period seemed to unfortunately underscore these various issues. It truly makes one question the current state of affairs. Given these significant shortcomings in food quality, portioning, and customer service, I regret to say that I can no longer recommend this restaurant. We were coming here after walking the SFS Swap Meet for hours, so we were hungry and the food and portion size did not disappoint. I went here yesterday for dinner to-go. I ordered shawarma, but they only had enough for one serving, so I got kafta for the other two.The portions are really small for the price, and to make matters worse, they have what I consider hidden fees. The cashier told me that on top of the sales tax, there's a separate "state tax" that they have to charge in addition to the city tax. I'm an accountant by profession, and that explanation didn't make sense to me. What's even more concerning is that they also seem to charge tax on those additional fees.Pay close attention to what's listed on the menu board versus what actually appears on your receipt. I didn't bother scrutinizing it further because, at that point, I was more concerned about how they might handle our food if I started arguing with the cashier. As for the food itself, it was less than desirable, to say the least. It doesn't come close to the quality of other Mediterranean restaurants I've tried. The food was also very greasy--this was honestly the first time I've had shawarma that greasy.Overall, not impressed.
