Customer service is very on point here. I wonder if they still have spicy chili chicken. I was told by a stranger that tandoori is supposed to be like a snack of sorts, such as an appetizer. Maybe I should have gotten veggies instead because it's really hard to eat dry chicken. Goat curry is my favorite, and I do appreciate Curry Hut as a chain, as it's always clean, welcoming, and doing their best to provide a healthy meal. The artwork on the wall is cool. I think I heard the one in Pico Rivera was good.

Namaste Yelpers. Total mental thing. Fridays during lent I want steak or carnitas tacos. Fortunately we live within walking distance to Curry Hut. Wifey and I enjoyed the sun and the walk and boy did we enjoy our food. Garlic Naan is worth the upgrade. Delish! The Paneer (cheese) and spinach is my absolute favorite Indian dish. Wifey had the Cauliflower and Veggie Korma. Salted Yogurt and Mango Lassi. Thank You Curry Hut!

Amrit was so sweet and helped us pick what to order! Her recommendations were amazing! We especially loved the Sunshine Latte and Veg Samosa Chaat. Would recommend this!

Goat curry Black pepper chicken Chicken Tikka 3 Items Combo

I'm so glad the first place we tried to go to today was closed. We pivoted here because it was nearby and had good reviews. The woman at the counter asked if it was our first time. It was, so she wanted to make sure that we tried every single item before we made our choice. Although that made it even harder to choose because everything was so good. The portions were massive for $15 and it was so good. There's nothing I love more than sampling every item and I had good things to say about every one. I landed on chicken tikka masala, black pepper chicken, and goat curry and feel totally confident in choosing all three.

First time eating Indian food ! Very tasty I stuck to the basic chicken tikka masala and curry chicken I like the tikka masala more than the curry but both were good and warm I came about 5 mins before closing and they still had lots of options and they were hot and fresh still ! If I'm in the area I would come back lots of food for the combo at a good price

What is the status of ordering from here with what's recently going on?

I walked into curry hut and was able to order takeout. They do wear gloves and it seems very clean. I also saw a delivery driver come by to pick up an order so i would check grubhub or other services if you live nearby. I'm sure they are happy to… Read more

    Is the food real spicy?

Tiki Masla and Veggie Korma are mild. Everything else is medium or spicy. I really love the flavors but as someone who's not into spicy food, it's disappointing my options are so limited.

Chicken tikka masala is delicious & 2. I have no idea what to order. Tonight I ordered the combo dinner for one, to go. But, it fed myself and my 14-year-old (who has a bottomless pit of a stomach), with leftovers to spare! The combo included tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, 2 veggie sides (I think they were yellow dal tadka & saag paneer), samosa, an appetizer of some sort of fried deliciousness, rice, garlic naan, & a rice, pudding style dessert. First off the chicken tikka masala is absolutely delicious! So rich & creamy. I'm so glad I ventured out of my lane because each dish was so flavorful. The dishes are made fresh to order, so be patient. I promise it's worth the wait! I can't wait to come back for one of their all-you-can-eat lunch buffets so that I can explore more flavors. Sorry for the lack of photos. By the time I remembered that I should probably take one, half of the food was already devoured.

Eggroll, samosas, potatoes and cauliflower, masala, goat curry, tandoori chicken and a couple others I can't remember. Also had mango lassi and soda for drink options. They also brought out some garlic naan to the table which was good too. For the price and variety and comfortable seating, I can't complain. Would recommend.

Spice Social in Fullerton delivered a refined and memorable dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance is elegant, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. It strikes a balance between modern sophistication and comfort, making it well suited for an intimate dinner, a relaxed evening with friends, or a polished casual outing. The food was excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. What elevated the experience even further was the service. The hospitality was exceptional, and the owner personally took the time to come over, greet us, and ensure that everything was to our liking. That level of attentiveness added a gracious and personal touch that made the evening feel even more special. One of the standout qualities of Spice Social is its broad appeal. It is an excellent introduction for diners who may be less familiar with Indian cuisine, as the menu feels approachable while still offering depth and authenticity. There is a subtle contemporary influence in some of the flavors and presentation, which makes the experience especially appealing to those who appreciate familiar elements alongside traditional Indian delicacies. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend it at any time.

Service was not warm to start, but it got worse after they brought me overcooked salmon when I ordered Chilean sea bass. I told them there was a mistake and the waiter tried to convince me it was sea bass. Sea bass is white and salmon is pink with a completely different texture. He did not apologize but returned my salmon to the kitchen. Good thing I ordered garlic naan which ended up being my lunch. It was good. They even included jalapeños on it at my request. It's actually hard to overcook sea bass but they managed it. A lady came by and did apologize saying something about the fish being lost in her translation. Her English sounded perfect to me. I just smiled and said it was ok but I could smell the fish coming before it hit the table. Super fishy. But maybe it would be ok. I took a bite and another just in case I had it wrong but it tasted old. Chilean sea bass is supposed to have a buttery soft texture. It just smelled, tasted and felt old. I let her know. She went and told the waiter who I could see shaking his head. He didn't return to serve us. She closed out the bill and removed the fish at my request. If that was it I would not have left this review because cooks have off days sometimes and there are hundreds of restaurants I've eaten at that just don't need a review. But the attitude I got was uncalled for. She said they served 3 and nobody else complained. Well that was awkward. After 3 they should have known the difference between salmon and sea bass. I really enjoy Indian food. Just not going to enjoy it here. I hope this review helps other diners.

Curry Hut is in a small plaza with limited parking (although cars frequently come and go). It's a cozy place with only six tables, but most people pick up their food and go anyways. The employees and courteous and patient, especially for those who are visiting for the first time. They constantly are turning out dishes to refill their counter hot plates and everything looks and smells delicious. They have a short list of meal combos; I went with the 2 item combo and of course upgraded to garlic naan. I got goat curry and palak paneer, along with a mango lassi. The mango lassi tasted different than others I've had; it was more on the tart side. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't one of my favorites. The goat curry and palak paneer along with warm rice were amazing! I could bathe in their palak paneer. Their food also didn't feel heavy, even though it was a very filling meal. I HIGHLY recommend this spot for a quick lunch to pick up or even for catering! If I find myself in Fullerton again soon, this would definitely be one of my top destinations.

Eddie was very accommodating and had us work with Mitush who was heaven sent! For starters, this was the first real big event I have ever had... My only daughter's Sweet 16! The idea of fog and sparklers did make me nervous but were a beautiful touch during our mother daughter dance. The food! Let's just say our guests were more than satisfied with all of it. We opted for the birria and pasta for the kids. Mitush offered us a wide variety of foods which did make our decision making a bit difficult in a good way. I must admit, I was a bit of a spaz, but having Mitush facilitate all our wants and needs was made this experience more enjoyable. My daughter and her chambelanes were able to practice their choreography, which was the highlight of the party. He not only was accommodating with us and our set-up, but he was very attentive towards our guests as well. Give the man a raise Eddie! This venue will for sure be one to consider for future events. All around great experience. Thank you Eddie, Mitush, and the helper whose name I'm drawing a blank. Short Hispanic older man who was also helpful from the moment we first set foot in the venue. The generous portions resulted in a second meal for me! On a Tuesday night, this place was quite packed with friends and families. It seems like wonderful place to host parties or business meetings. Someone nearby us had a birthday, and a group of staff came out with a dessert, blasting a traditional birthday song over the speakers and encouraged the whole restaurant to clap along! Despite the large gatherings, the restaurant is a no-reservation spot. They have a covered patio outside to seat an overflow of customers in case. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I were seated right away. They had a contactless menu, and we scanned a QR code to check our food options, but a server took our order and offered great recommendations once we waved him down. I would love to come back and try other dishes, like their grilled chicken or lamb--as well as the desserts and teas !!
