Showing their way of cutting corners to nickel and dime the customer. There is no choice if you want wine with your meal. If you go there with a group, there is going to be more than one bottle of wine unless you all sit separately in groups of two then they open all the bottles for free. The same amount of bottles are opened. Where else do they cut corners? Corking fees should only be charged if the restaurant has a liquor license. The food was fair. Shrimp in the signature pasta entree were way over cooked. The waitress service was great! They also charge more for credit card use.

I always say to my wife that should his road have taken him on another path, the chef/owner would have had a Michelin Star. He has an amazing sense of flavor. The seasoning and flavor combinations are always on point. I love the grilled chicken Zereshk Pollo. If you don't get that, make sure you add the Persian rice to whatever you get. Also, try the salads or the shrimp appetizer. The space itself has a NYC vibe, a/k/a a little tight, but comfy. In the summer they have nice outdoor seating behind the restaurant. The price point is fair. The service is always attentive and friendly. Best, of all, it's BYOB. What's not to like? Seriously.

The warm Mediterranean vibe, the smell of grilled perfection in the air, and the friendly faces all make you feel like you've just stepped into a cozy taverna on a sunny island in Greece. The atmosphere is bright, relaxed, and filled with happy energy. Whether you're coming for a romantic dinner, a family meal, or just to treat yourself, this place hits the spot every single time. The service here is absolutely phenomenal. Everyone is so welcoming and genuinely cares about making your experience special. From the moment we sat down, our server was attentive, funny, and full of great recommendations. You can tell the staff works as a team and takes pride in what they do. Drinks arrived quickly, plates came out piping hot, and they checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling rushed. It's that kind of service that makes you feel valued and keeps you coming back. Now, let's talk about the food, because wow. Every dish at Mykonos Greek is a flavor explosion of freshness and authenticity. The gyro platter is out of this world, loaded with perfectly seasoned meat, warm pita, and tzatziki so good you'll want to take a pint home. The moussaka melts in your mouth, the souvlaki is tender and juicy, and the grilled octopus might just be the best I've ever had. Every plate looks beautiful and tastes even better. Even the small details stand out. The salads are crisp and vibrant, the lemon potatoes are ridiculously good, and the feta cheese is rich and creamy. It's clear that everything is made with care and fresh ingredients. You can taste the quality in every single bite. The drinks and desserts are also a must. Their sangria is light and refreshing, the wine list pairs perfectly with the food, and if you skip dessert you're missing out. The baklava is sweet, flaky, and pure heaven, and the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts is the perfect finish to a perfect meal. The ambiance ties everything together. It's lively without being loud, cozy without being cramped, and stylish without trying too hard. You can come here for a casual lunch or a celebratory dinner and it always feels just right. Mykonos Greek in Smithtown is one of those rare places that gets everything right. Incredible food, amazing service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family. Every visit feels like a mini getaway to the Greek islands. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Opa!

The prices were fair(ish) but everything else not so much. -Gyro Sandwich: 3/5, I will admit the meat was actually pretty delicious and there was a ton of it..but after that this was pretty forgettable. Shredded lettuce and onion thrown on top and called a sandwich. The fries it came with kind of sucked, and the yogurt sauce was nothing special. -Chicken over rice platter: 2/5, we actually laughed when we opened this. A single skewer broken in half over a bed of bland brown rice for $10. Not very enjoyable...at all. The sandwich combo also came with a drink so when I selected coke I assumed I'd be getting a can like most other Greek spots do...BUT you know what they say when you assume!! Instead I received a small paper cup Saran wrapped up with half the drink soaked into it..to top it off it was flat. Like drinking water with coke flavor. Needless to say we don't plan on coming back here when the craving for Greek returns.

There is seating available (4 tables) and you order at the deli counter. The service was great too- they told us ahead of time it may take some time to prepare what we ordered and made sure to bring it out once ready The food was delicious, very pleasant! We had: -Lahmacun: (A Turkish style pizza, flatbread dough topped with ground lamb.) this was so tasty!!! It was so fresh and the lamb was very well seasoned. It comes paired with lettuce, onions, and a lemon which you can add to it. -Kofte Kebab and Chicken Shish kebab platter: we asked if we could order the meats we wanted to eat and the owner said we could mix and match 2. We chose the kofte and chicken kebab an it Came plated with rice, bread, and salad. Everything was so good! The chicken was tender and tasty, and the kofta was also tasty although I may say a bit dry. Still good. The bread was a pleasant experience- it had been grilled a bit an had the flavors of the chicken and kofte on it. The salad was fresh too! Overall good experience- definitely check it out if you're in the mood for Turkish food!

As we got there little after 7:30pm, the gyro was sold out. It's alright as I ordered the Meatball Kofte $22 while my wife ordered the Lamb Adana $23, and my son ordered the Lamb Shish Kebab $24. Each order comes with a good amount portion of rice, one piece of grilled jalapeno pepper and quarter cut tomato. I will say the rice was just a tad salty. Portion wise for the protein was on point too. The lambs and the beef was flavorful and not dry at all. Everything tasted very warm and it didn't feel at all just sitting in the cold. Each order also comes with a side red cabbage salad which was absolutely amazing. Overall, the food was a big hit. Both John and Taha were very gracious and helped answered all our questions. I will say this place is very large and it would be good if they make some use of the space and put in some nice decor touches for folks dining in. Also offer free cups of water for diners. Lastly, given there is no bathroom for patrons, they should at least think about placing some hand sanitizers for diners. Based on today's visit, I will definitel come back and try other selections like the branzino.
