    Lamb Adana Kebab
    Rohini G.

Hearty portions and warm service. Tried the adana kebab which was tender and flavorful. I like both the bulgar and rice. The veggies are also well seasoned. The side salad on the dish was a bit strong with the parsley but otherwise good. I liked the starter salad (entrees come with a soup or salad). They gave house pita but wish it was warmed and came with some dip.

a plate of food on a table

Service is friendly and efficient. They came to the table and checked in on us, and food arrived at a good rate. We had the cold mezze, which came with eggplant, white beans, baba ganoush, and stuffed leaves. It was a good plate. The eggplant was tasty, and the stuffed leaves were good. The hummus had kind of a fruity taste, but it was fine. We had the lemon orzo soup. It was starchy and treasury. The lemon flavor was good, and it was a soothing soup. We also had the borek which was oily but very tasty. It wasn't salty like typical borek and the cheese was creamy and stretchy. The calamari had a good crust but the calamari itself was very small and chewy. Our mains were okay. They were very salty. We had the mixed platter which I don't recommend. It's mainly minced meat and thickly cut gyro meat, meaning the gyro meat was too chunky, definitely cut wrong. There were some whole chicken pieces in the mixed platter and lots of kofta but no lamb pieces or lamb chops like you typically get. I recommend ordering other dishes. We had the lamb adana and special beyti kebab, which were decent. They need to refine their food more and focus on details like mincing their kofta finer, use higher quality meat and not over salt their dishes. Dessert was good and tea was very good. The place is simple and comfortable. It had a homey vibe to it which is nice

    Lemon Chicken Orzo

This was a nice option for casual dinner close to cedar beach. Most of the entrees come with the choice of soup/salad, though I wasn't a huge fan of either of the soup options. The lemon chicken orzo was a little too heavy on the lemon for my taste. The main dish (iskander kebab) was delicious though. Server was great and the restaurant is clean; there was no wait on a Sunday night.

Always passed this place and Wanted to try this place for a while. We came one evening and we ordered: - hummus - dip made of garbanzo beans, lemon juice, garlic, milk, cumin, olive oil, tahini & olive with pita bread - chicken shish kebab - charbroiled boneless white chicken on a skewer, seasonal vegetables, rice and bulgur - special beyti kebab - (wrap tortilla bread) beyti is ground lamb flavored with garlic, parsley, tomato, yogurt and tomato sauce. Comes with veggies, rice and bulgar The food was good, service was a little slow even though it wasn't busy.

We've ordered takeout Greek Salads twice. Both times the food was fresh and delicious. Generous portions. Great service.

There was a help wanted sign on the door, the phone was ringing off the hook which was annoying, she was the only waitress delegated with serving all the tables, answering phones and dealing with takeout and pick up orders. I didn't ask although it appeared the manager or owner was no where to be found . Only the 2 cooks and 1 waitress. The only other negative is that they emphasis they have a 3.5% fee for using credit cards on their website landing page. Moving on to the positives the restaurant is in a small strip mall, nicely decorated, good food, fair prices, clean and they appear to have a full bar in the back. There were 4 of us and we started with falafel balls which are served with pita bread and sauce. We had the shrimp dinner which comes with a choice of soup or salad, broccoli and rice pilaf. We also had the chicken gyro pita, the chicken souvlaki pita with fries and the shrimp pita. All the food was good and again Christine did a great job juggling her duties. I would recommend them although I hope the owner reads this review as it seems like a good place to eat. I hope they take action, either hiring more staff or coming in themselves to take care of the customers. Otherwise I think customers will lose patience and go elsewhere.

Mezze Mediterranean, welcome to the neighborhood!…read more We just left, everything was fresh and tasted like a grandmother was in the back making all these delicious dishes. My head is in the direction of Mediterranean, must be Greeks. No! My mom is half Greek but Mezze Mediterranean is not, this is a Turkish restaurant. I am not a Turkish aficionado but after today I can hold my own. First off, what is Pink Sultan? O.M.G. Made with beets and yogurt, this side was deelish! There was a young man behind the counter. He helped us navigate through the menu. We started with a Falafel plate to share as well as Pink Sultan. The falafel, wasn't too strong on the spices (and that's a good thing) they were fried perfectly with a side of Hummus. The Turkish Tzatziki (is it called that?) was a little thin compared to its Greek cousin. However, Pink Sultan rules anything in the Mediterranean! Soooooo good! My Shepherd Salad topped with Kabobs was another dish that is outside of my wheelhouse. The kabobs were seasoned perfectly. My wife's Gyro, again, not Greek. It was steak rather than lamb. Even the pita wrap was something outside the typical Mediterranean dish we're used to seeing. Mezze, total fan!

The place is simply decorated with a few tables inside and some picnic benches outside. Some of The food is displayed in chafing dishes, sort of cafeteria style. But their kitchen behind the scenes is where the magic takes place. The Pink Sultan is TO DIE FOR!! It's beets, mixed with Greek yogurt and spices. Looks great and tastes even better. My friend and I had quite a few of their items. The tomato eggplant dip is yummy too and should be used as a sauce over pasta. The salmon was grilled and tasty. Their lamb chops were nicely spiced and grilled to perfection. Taste it all, I promise that everything is more than delicious. The young man behind the counter was so patient and nice to us as well

You order at the counter and there are a few tables to sit at. Being this is my first time, I will mention while writing this in a little annoyed because I didn't look at the menu close enough but the owner at the counter shoulder and could've took me this when ordering. I ordered the lamb gyro which was overstuffed and delicious. He asked if I wanted lettuce tomatoes and onion and I said yes (this is usually on a gyro). Quickly scanning the menu advice, I didn't see any option to make the gyro a combination with fries, so I ordered the side of fries $6.50. While sitting to eat, I was looking over the menu more and noticed that there was an option to make any sandwich an original which means..... add fries instead of lettuce tomatoes for $1. I would've gone this route if I saw that. I guess live and learn, my mistake but he should've told me of that option. Next time and I will let him know this, but I will not let it negatively affect my review. (Update) another person just came in and ordered the same so I opened my mouth to let him know about the $1 option. The owner then said that it was fried in the sandwich). I never heard of that option but at least I know, you can only order the side of fried, they should have a combo price. The Gyro is amazing!
