I recently had my 3rd visit with Tania and she is so so gifted. I am so glad a friend of mine recommended her. She is patient; has taken the time to understand my needs, make suggestions and is really really talented. Her art is beautiful! Sharing a couple of samples.
I've been coming to this salon for the last 3 years for my nails. Pros: -They excel at designs here. You ever go to another salon and show them inspo and hold your breath not knowing if they'll be able to do it? Every tech here you can show your inspo pic to and it'll come out 10/10 looking like what you showed them. Tania is the best tech here IMO. She's always booked. I never have had a problem with nail designs or art. All of these women are skilled and super detailed. - Fast communication and response to messages. Any time I have questions or need to be accommodated whoever runs their IG profile is very helpful. Anytime I've ever not liked my nails or need a nail to be fixed I've been helped and it's been no charge. - Availability, I think that what's been keeps me coming back. My schedule is hectic and idk anywhere you can book a nail appointment the next day. Booking is easy and they are consistent with posting openings and schedules. -Salon, it's located in Sola Salons in Cypress. Plenty of parking and it's close to the entrance. Calm and quiet location and they are always playing good music (pop, top 40). There are 5 booths and 2 pedicure spa chairs. The salon is clean and always put together. Cons: -Gel X & Acrylic, this salon was the first time I tried Gel-x and I loved it. Faster application and in and out faster than acrylic. Lately, I've stopped getting gel-x just because I noticed a quality issue. Nails started popping off weekly and they were lifting. I work retail and am heavy handed, figured maybe it was just me? So I switched to acrylic and it was no longer losing nails. They're sturdier and I can go weeks with them all intact. I've gotten acrylic application with Angel and Rachel. I wouldn't recommend this salon for acrylic application. I've experienced little to no nail or cuticle prep prior to tip application by Rachel. I mention it during the service and it's acknowledged and then my cuticles are cut once my service is finished. The acrylic application technique is what leaves me dissatisfied the last 2x I've been here. The time and effort into shaping isn't there. I've had curved tips and straight tips applied and I'm either left with curved down almond cat claws or straight tips that point to the sky. Thick and clumpy edges on square long nails with thick nail apexes and nail concentration. -Overbooking, appointments run back to back here and the appointment after you will show up while you're still in the chair. Or you show up at your appointment time and have a small wait in the lobby. Which is why I think the quality of service has gone down.
I finally made the trip to Pisces Nail Studio and I'm so mad at myself for not going sooner. The studio is clean and I love how all of the staff sticks to appointments. I worked with Liz (Vy) and she did an excellent job with my Gel-X manicure with a small design. This was the most gentle gel-x manicure that I've received. I can't wait to go back.
Always a great experience here. My nails always turn out beautiful. Angel did a beautiful job on my cateye nails.
I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE this place! I've been coming here for years now and every time I leave I am always so happy and feeling better about my nails and even myself. I love that every time I'm here, I get exactly what I show them. I've been going to Vy (Liz) for the last 2 years now and we always laugh together or are just in comfortable silence. She always makes sure that I really love my nails all the way down to the shape, design, color etc. every detail matters to her as much as it does me. She wants me to love my nails and I love that type of care. I'm always excited to see her and catch up. I have moved out of Cypress area but I will drive across town just to come get my nails done here! This is def my forever nail place.
The best nail shop! I've been coming here for 4 years now and the service is phenomenal every time. Liz is my go to and she slays every design I have. My nails always look so clean and last for 3 weeks. I travel pretty far to get my nails done, but it's soo worth it.
I called the day of and asked for any last minute cancellations since there weren't any online and I was fit in. I only waited about 15-20 mins which wasn't bad and i expected a bit of a wait since I was the one who decided last min to try to be fit in. I was assigned Vy and I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say! First let me start off by stating that I would go to regular nail salons constantly asking for builder gel and was always told no and that I should do poly gel since it would last longer due to my nail length. I have tried three different salons in Cerritos, Los Alamitos and Cypress and I was never satisfied with my nails. They always look thick and uneven. I showed Vy an inspo pic of a light pinkish base with a milky French tip, something that looked more subtle than an actual bright white French tip and she delivered just that. Vy took her time perfecting the shape, cleaned up my cuticles, and was very detailed it did not feel rushed at all. I was honestly so shocked at how much I loved it here on the first visit. My nails look even, elegant and neat, I will 100% keep coming back. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because I also got a pedicure. I got the deluxe with gel and chrome powder which turned out to be $85. It was just okay..I did not feel like it was worth $85. The gel application on my toes was fine but the package itself just consisted of 2-3 different scrubs and a callous treatment which I feel like didn't do much. I would skip the deluxe and just stick to a regular pedicure.
I booked with Leah today after my usual nail tech not being available. She's been so good with my nails. I get builder and she's done a wonderful job with the application. Not to mention she's very nice. I've been coming to this nail salon for about 2 years and Linh is my go to girl! She knows my vibe and knows what I like. Just some of my favorite sets she's done.
Nail set was done by Angel She absolutely slayed this set! The attention to detail was amazing. This was my first time getting a designer set like this. I've always stuck to solid colors, but now I'm never going back! I actually met a girl at Tesla, fell in love with her nails, and she referred me here. So glad she did. Since I film food content, my hands are always in the frame and now I get to show off these nails every time I eat! Can't wait for my next appointment.
Angel does an amazing job every single time I come! She above what I wanted. I showed her what I wanted for my nails and she also added in her opinion which I'm glad for! Great work! I usually get a simple color but this time we switched it up and I love!! Thank you!
I always walk out loving my nails! The girls are all so nice and talented. I used to not like GelX as I felt they'd pop off right away, but once I started coming here, I started to love them. Every single nail inspo I've brought in, they were able to do it and add their own ideas when I've been indecisive. Shoutout to Leah for my most recent set! I'm obsessed

All of the artists are amazing. I've done my nails with Amy & Tania. Today I went with Tania and honestly, I'm always in awe by her professionalism, she really pays attention to details in her designs so that she could get it as close as your inspo pictures. She's amazing at creating designs as well when you don't have an inspo. I always come out with such clean and jaw dropping sets. Typically my sets still looks good even after 3 weeks Can't imagine going anywhere else honestly. At times, it would take me 30 min to get here but I don't even mind. :) read more

I really needed a new nail place and Pisces studio did NOT disappoint. Their prices are great, their work is even better, and it's in a quiet but peaceful room that's not packed with extreme amounts of people. I saw Amy today and there's no way I'm leaving now. Thanks for making my hands pretty! read more

I was excited to try gel x for the first time and to have pretty cute nail art done. Linh was very patient and communicative with what I wanted and she did an amazing job with copying the inpso that I showed her. I already knew the prices are high and wanted to see for myself how the service was. I'm just not sure I would come back and spend so much, but I understand it's the nail art that's what makes the pricing. read more

I love coming here & I always recommend this studio when people ask where I get my nails done. I have been coming here for almost a year now & have never been disappointed with my nail designs. I have always seen Rachel & recommend her since she's so nice & conversates & makes me feel so comfortable at every nail appt I've had with her. I can show her a picture & she tries to replicate the inspo as much as possible, while asking if I'm okay with how the progress is. read more

I have been coming to this place for a little over a year and I'm so happy I found it. All nail techs are great, I personally always schedule my appointment with Amy, she's always so sweet and patient. Amy always gets my designs right when I show her what I want, I'm always super happy with the results. The picture is the latest set I got with her and love it! Check this place out, definitely worth it. read more

There is too much hype for this business on social media. I dont know why i was charged 5 dollars per hand on the green design. It took her less than 3 secs. They also misquoted and i had to ask for my money back via Instagram. Their nail technician should know about their promotion and should not be giving the wrong price. If i didnt dm them, i wouldnt even know i overpaid. They also left a lot of space while doing the gel x. The first picture is only after 5 days of getting my nails done. The last two photos were the day of the service. Its hard to tell in the photo but honestly read all the 1 star reviews. read more

Second time coming to do my nails here :) my first time, Amy did my wedding nails and I asked her if she would not cut my cuticles too short because my nails get overly sensitive. She listened to my request and did an amazing job. I loved them so much I had to come back again. My second time to do my nails here was with Tania, and when she was doing my nails I told her the heat from the UV light was a little painful and she did her best to move the UV light around so it didn't hurt as much. She did an amazing job with painting my nails and had a lot of patience with me when it came to choosing the colors. Really love this place that I will be coming back again. Totally recommend them if you love cute nails read more

I've been going to Tania for about 2 years now. Let me tell you, she is amazing, lately I've been getting gel x over natural nails because my nails have never looked so good until I started going to her. I deal with a lot of anxiety and bite my nails a lot, but Tania takes care of them. when I first started getting my nails done with her , my nails were short, ugly and stubby, I was bitting them to where my nail bed would start hurting. It was horrible. But now I don't bite them anymore because she does such a good job to where my brain refuses to let me bite them because they are so pretty. Thank you Tania will continue going to her these are a couple of pictures throughout the months :) read more

I have been following their nail page for a while. I like what Gel X was about and appeared to me that it wouldn't ruin my nails like acrylics. I love having long nails but I always dreaded the acrylic process and when it's taken off. So I decided to give Gel X a chance. Good thing I did! Tania and her team are such cuties with their cute nail salon. The person I chose to do my nails was Amy, and I am so happy with them! I'm not a person who get their nails long or extended, but I am a fan now! Thank you Amy for taking f tour time and asking frequently if I like the shape! I most def recommend and will be coming back! read more
