There was a private parking lot. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. You place your order at the counter and it is brought to your table. Our waitress was friendly and informative. The appetizers came out quickly. We had mozzarella sticks and meatballs. Both were excellent. We tried 3 kinds of pizza: Sausage&onion, Vodka, and pepperoni. We loved the pepperoni the best. Not only was it delicious, there were stacks of pepperoni cups. The Vodka pizza was tasty, allowing the flavor of the crust to shine. The sausage & onion was ok, but I prefer larger pieces of sausage to crumbles. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will return and try different pizzas and the calzones.

Great service on the phone with thoughtful consideration to my allergies. The owner made recommendations based on health considerations. The other people in my party were able to eat directly off the menu. They had the classic pizza, deep fried mozzarella, chicken strips with honey, mustard sauce For me - Aly and Fri - fried calamari, which was tender and flavorful with a drizzle of lemon instead of the side of marinara. Salad of arugula, pinenuts, cranberry, and grana Padana cheese. The price of the salad Out weighed the flavor profile.

This was the least burnt slice on the pie. A bit of char is welcome but this pie was badly burnt

Sweet little shop for the southside with sometimes excellent pizza. Nice to have them around. Could be great for fancy slices in shop. Unfortunately they're still working out the kinks and can be wildly inconsistent for ordering pies. Since they shrug it off when told of problems I gather my experience is not unique. Three out of five orders were delicious, but twice they seriously disappointed. The first incident they gave the wrong toppings but the pie was salvageable. Today was worse, our pie was burnt to such an extreme that the crust was inedible even for someone who enjoys a dark pie. if they had been gracious about the first time maybe i would call them to resolve it instead of turning to Yelp, but their response was anemic when we previously told them that they gave us eggplant instead of mushrooms. They were like "whatever" generally unsurprised and unmotivated to rectify the situation. So we peeled the eggplant off and made the best of it. I shrugged it off as them working out kinks as a new business. The next few orders were good. We made sure the toppings were correct. Great textures and flavors and tasty mushrooms. I tried to make it a regular thing to pickup for kids on the route. Today when we came for pickup they said the pie was not ready. It is a mystery therefore why they proceeded to severely burn it while we waited an extra 15 minutes. This was like 4:30pm before the dinner rush, not a busy time of day. I like supporting new businesses but pizza cremation is not a service i need or want- especially at this price point. We will stick with Emilianos for their reliably delicious and reasonably priced pies.

There was also this raspberry bar that I forgot the name of but it was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, that one was definitely our favorite. Also it's so cute inside! All pink with what seemed like a hand-built cabana decoration around the register. Everyone was super friendly, and I'll definitely be back to share these amazing desserts with some friends and family. Sorry all the desserts pictured already have bites taken out! Couldn't resist!

When we reached I asked them if they had anything left since the display looked empty. We bought one yuzu tart and one coffee/chocolate based tart. For the first time in my life non chocolate flavor was my first choice. It was soo delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and would surely go to try on the remaining desserts. People who worked there were nice too plus ambiance is very cute! Went there again the second time and trust me their desserts are exceptional. Great flavor, amazing desserts.

I'm not gonna lie--this whole dinner was part of a very specific mission. I was craving ribs, and…read morewhen I saw this place not only had them but also served hibiscus lemonade, I made the executive decision to have my family drive to Poughkeepsie from our bed & breakfast just to check it out. Worth it? Mostly, yes! Food: 4/5 We tried a little bit of everything, the Seared chicken breast - Hands down my favorite dish of the night. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and flavorful. Followed by the Bacon, egg, and homemade biscuit - A close second! The biscuit was dense and satisfying, and it had a really unique pesto-like sauce on top that made it memorable. Some other shout outs: 1) Orecchiette veggie pasta - Orecchiette is hard to find on menus, so I was delighted to see it here. It was a nice light option among our heavier dishes. 2) Jerk ribs - OK, so this is where my expectations and reality didn't fully align. They were well-cooked, but I'm a saucy girl, and these weren't as slathered or juicy as I'd hoped. That said, the rest of my table really enjoyed them. Also, that hibiscus lemonade? Chef's kiss. Refreshing and flavorful, and exactly the kind of detail that makes a place stand out to me. Service: 4/5 Now, here's where I was really surprised: one person was running the whole show. The head chef was managing the kitchen and the front of house--no servers, no extra help. Just him. For the amount of work that entails, he crushed it. Was it a bit slower than a staffed restaurant? Of course. But honestly, it gave the whole experience a humble, homegrown vibe that I appreciated. Also, it meant a lot to support a Black-owned restaurant and actually connect with the person behind the food. Final Thoughts: While we came for dinner, I could tell from the menu (and the vibe) that this place is really known for brunch. I'm genuinely curious to come back during brunch hours to see how the energy--and menu--might shift. Either way, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a spot with heart, flavor, and soul.
