I would give minus 10 stars if that was possible! The manager here (an older guy) is THE WORST! He clearly hates kids. You can actually look up reviews on google and read it for yourself. He kept giving us dirty looks throughout dinner because our 2 year old was being too loud. Then when we left, he actually went outside to argue with me about how my kid was annoying and how his kids are amazing haha Seriously don't even bother coming here, especially if you have kids! Drinks: We went there for a coworker's farewell lunch. Our waitress was polite and very knowledgeable. I ordered a Pineapple Mojito, which was pleasantly/surprisingly/deliciously strong. My friends got Lime Caipirinha, which were delicious and strong too. Starter: We ordered Bruschetta as our appetizer. The tomato topping was delectably fresh and the bread base was perfectly crunchy. Pies: The pizzas were simple and delectable. We got the Margarita, Curitiba and the Rio De Janeiro. The Margarita Pizza looked and tasted like a regular cheese pizza; it was also on special therefore I'm not sure if they made it so basic because it was on special or if that's how it is regularly. If you come here, a must have is anything with Catupiry cheese. Curitiba and Rio De Janeiro both have Catupiry, one is vegetarian (Curitiba) and the other has pulled chicken (Rio De Janeiro). Catupiry cheese is like cheese butter. They put dollops of it throughout the pizza but it's so smooth and creamy that I ended up spreading it all over my slices. Dessert: For dessert we ordered Profiteroles, which were two chocolate covered pastry puffs on top of vanilla ice cream. They were delicious; the chocolate to pastry to ice cream ratio was perfection. The ambiance was friendly and relaxing. There weren't a ton of people and we ended up staying a good 45 minutes after we paid, just talking. No one asked us to clear the table or anything, in fact a server came to our table and gave us Fresa Y Chocolate Pizza on the house! The Nutella with strawberry pizza was superb and ended up being the perfect end to a great get together. Amazing drinks, delicious food, great hospitality and welcoming ambiance made this place a 5 star location. Added bonus, they have specials on drinks, wine and pizzas all the time. read more

If you're in the Doral area, this is a convenient lunch stop offering a variety of pastas and pizzas; particularly if you're not in a hurry, but appreciate the ability to talk to your tablemates. I tend to be a bit frugal with my lunches, so although I enjoyed the "Mezzo-Mezzo" special, I found $14+ (including tip) to be pricey. Arguably, you're paying for quality and I suspect there's more value in the dinner menu. The aforementioned lunch special gives you the option between a soup/salad then a pizza/pasta. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was pretty good size and taste; and the Capri pizza (capricciosa is better). Service can be so-so. I will probably return at some point, but with the variety offered in the same shopping center, it's not my first choice. read more

Was here yesterday for a business lunch and was very impressed with their pizza, service, price and location. Some of the best Margherita pizza I've ever had. I've been driving around this place for almost a year but never got the chance to go and I finally made it. They have outside seating and the place is quaint and nice. There was nice breeze going on so it was the perfect day to be seated outside. It is famous for it's pizza but I didn't think I could finish a whole pizza (Yes I know I should be able to. Don't judge me lol), so I got some pasta. The pasta lacked any flavor. The only things I could taste were the olive oil and the marinara sauce. The sauce was very watery and basically just some chunks of tomato. I added a bunch of red chilli flakes but they did not help the flavor much. I did try their beer and that I must say was really nice. I believe it was the Stella Artois. Draft beer. It wasn't too bitter and it tasted really nice. I'm picky about beer but this one did it for me. The service was actually fantastic. The staff was very attentive and quick to get us anything we needed. Well, the food was my fault. I should have tried the pizza. I will go back just to give the pizza a shot. There is free parking in the complex. You don't have to make any reservations. You can just walk in. read more

Piola has a different style of pizza, it definitively is NOT you Pizza Hut or Dominoes, and this is what I like. If you have traveled internationally, and has tried pizzas around the world, you will come to the same conclusion... the flavors that can be created combining exotic cold cuts, veggies, spices, etc. is amazing. I highly recommend you try pizzas that are far from your comfort zone (i.e. margarita and pepperoni)... go Pavia or Venezia, add extra Mozzarella... and you are all set. The food from Piola was simply amazing. Very delicious Italian food that smelled so good from the second I picked it up to take home for dinner. I ordered the 399-Noidi All'Aglio (aka garlic knots with marinara as a dipping sauce). They were so delicious but eat them right away because they hardened as the cooled. I also got the 562-Gnocci Legnano (aka a 4 cheese sauce over a delicious gnocci) with extra sauce so I could dip the garlic knots in it too. I would probably ask to substitute the gnocchi for penne pasta or ravioli next time because I'm not in love with gnocchi. I will definitely go back here for take out and might even go for dine in too. The staff let me know Thursdays were ladies nights and I should join some time! I enjoy going to Piola because of their lunch specials. It gives you the opportunity to try something new each time, plus portions are generous. So far my favorite dish is the Pesto Fusilli. The pizza is ok, too. The only drawback is that it takes a long time to get your food so consider that if you're coming on your lunch break. Service tends to be slow in general. They take reservations which is a plus! Parking is easy to find and this Piola is located in a new strip in Doral that offers several other restaurants. I'll probably be back again when they have their all-you-can-eat gnocchi. Yum! read more

This is my favorite Pizza place in ALL of Miami. I Ana very picky eater, especially when it comes to pizza. I like authentic, thin crust, Italian style pizza. This place has just that! I really like this place. Pizzas and pastas are pretty good at affordable prices. I been a regular Piola customer for many years at many locations. I usually come on the 29th of each month we're they have a great gnocchi all you can eat program.....service is super friendly, not the most efficient but nice. Also they offer a very good lunch menu on weekdays; smaller portions at smaller prices. Also is a very fast option, food comes out fast ! Things I don't like that can be solved and improve easily are, very poor wine selection , no gluten free options on pizza or pasta........2018 these two things are a must in all restaurants! This is a new place here in Doral. The mall where its located is always pretty alive and busy. I went an hour before they closed with a friend and we shares to main dishes: the four cheese gnocchi and the Honolulu pizza. The four cheese gnocchi was mouth watering and the pizza was just the perfect amount of crunchy and the flavor was very fresh. Will be coming back again, thank you to the Piola staff. read more

The host was sooooo hospitable and accommodating -- he gave us advice on what to try since it was our first time, and he totally didn't disappoint! Not only that, but he came to check on us several times to make sure we liked the food and we were happy with what we ordered. The staff are very friendly and helpful, also. We tried the Diavola & the Cappriciossa pizzas; the Cappriciossa was my favorite -- soooooo yummy! All the pizzas sound so good. The pizza is a decent size, not totally for sharing, but a lot for one person. We truly enjoyed the food and service at this location, and we definitely recommend for everyone to try! read more

Brand new pizza and Italian food joint so we decided to give it a go. Kids had cheese which was OK but nothing out of this world bc kids are picky eaters and when the crust is slightly burnt they can tell right away. Since it's thin crust it can char alot easier. My wife and I split the Ham/mushroom pizza and I thought it was great. I prefer thin crust pizza with light sauce and I cannot stand commercial pizza. So while the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming and the pizza was good (by my liking) I have one major gripe: they only sell soda by the can... it wouldn't be that big of a deal if it were $1.00 per can but they charge like $2.50 per can which is robbery. Only the cheap little Latin restaurants do this tactic and for this reason alone I don't think I'll be going back. I had a specialty lemonade which cost $5.00 but again, the glass was small and half ice so I wasn't too excited about paying $10.00 for 2 cups of lemonade. If it were a mixed drink w alcohol then OK but it wasn't. Shame because there were a few other dishes on yhe menu that looked appetizing. Change to free refills or charge less for a can of soda and I'd definitely be back. The other family we ate with had the same sentiment. read more

First and last time.. I phoned and ordered penne alfredo- arrived to pick up and wasn't ready- they rudely asked me what i was waiting for and I told 3 people what i had ordered and my name. my food was placed on the kitchen shelf and all waiters passed by and none of the waiters got it. It sat there for 10 minutes until a waitress got it. It was cold and and swimming in the alfredo sauce- watery and tasteless. I tipped because I was in a hurry to get out of there and did't realize tip was automatically selected unless you press no tip- I ended up paying $15 for 3 noodles swimming in milk. The best thing was the container it came in but not even worth saving because it would remind me of this place.. so no thank you- expensive, bad quality and worst customer service.. read more

What a great disappointment this visit was. Food was very good but service was awful. To start the hostess was very willing to give the next available table To some of her friends that arrived after we did. I noticed and I told her that table belong to us as we were next on the list. She had no choice then to comply and show us to our table. About 20 minutes went by before someone came to take our beverage order. Foreseeing the delay we went ahead and place our food order right away . The server brought our drinks , soon after our food and never again looked at way or at any other table around. He was too busy on his cell Phone I guess. Had to beg the bartender for refill On water way after we were done eating. The garlic knots were great and the waitress was nice. However, they ran out of the vegan cheese after we put in our order and that was a large percentage of why we came here in the first place. We got one vegan cheese pizza with the last portion and the other without cheese, the table behind us had also ordered vegan cheese and I overheard the manager giving them options "on the house", they left. We got our pizzas and there was barely any cheese at all on one. We were still charged full priced for two vegan cheese pizzas and nothing was taken out of the bill. A bit ridiculous for the fact that we stayed and consumed food we didn't initially want and the table behind us were openly offered different choices on the house. I wouldn't return. read more

I used to go to the one in Hallandale every weekend for my favorite pasta dish; so, when we drove by this location as we were looking to grab a quick bite, I just had to insist we dine here. Probably my most unpleasant pizza experience in my entire life. I ordered a sausage pizza with pepperoni and after waiting an hour and a half..... I was delivered a cold, hard, rubbery mess. It was the most disgusting pizza I have ever had, and was literally given NO care. We ended up trying to eat part of it, but wasting more than 3/4 of the pizza because it was inedible. For the prices they charge and the pizza you end up with, you'd be better off calling Dominoes. Never eating here again. read more

This restaurant has two issues. I hope the general manager reads this review. Issue #1: This restaurant has a lot of fruit flies. During my meal my family and I counted 8 fruit flies flying around our seats. Issue #2: The price of the lemonade is $5 and it is served in a small glass with no refills. Very expensive!!!! Now let me talk about the PROs: the service is good and the food is very good!!!! My son and I had the Honolulu pizza and it was very good. My wife and daughter has the Chicken Parmigiana and it was very good. I will return as long as the general manager eliminates the fruit flies. read more

This place is awesome. I've been here a couple of times since it opened . Waited until now to see if they had consistency in their great service and quality. And yes they do :-). Pizzas are very thin and they have a great variety for all likes. They also have pastas and meat. A pretty comprehensive menu I would say. The space is fit for families, large parties but also for dates or friends who want to sit at a bar and watch a game. Their drinks are good too. For alcohol or mocktails alike. I tried their pineapple mint juice and is to die for. It is good for brunch , lunch or dinner. I had their carbonara pizza for brunch and it was amazing! Parking is quite neat too! Lost of space. Service is amazing, young vibrant people always willing to help you have a great time . They always give you a little present at the end. , from fresh bread to free cocktails...just delicious .
