The spot is Low key and cozy service was good and quick. Food has been great everytime.

Love me some Piola! First tried them at their Brickell location. They have or had great lunch specials like a personal pizza and pasta/salad for under $14. Amazinggggg oh and on Tuesdays they have $7 pizzas!!! Sounds like a great deal to me. The service is great and friendly. Great portions and delicious food. And great deals. read more

This was a pleasant surprise. I parked in a parking lot while responding to an email and noticed this spot and decided to drop in. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a drink. It was very delicious and freshly made right in front of me. It tasted fresh i.e. not dough unfrozen early this morning or a pre-made pizza that was flash cooked. The customer service team was very nice. However, they ultimately dampened my experience. I am an active duty Army Officer who was in uniform. I had to take a call as the audio was too loud in the building. To ensure my integrity was in tact, I left identification with them so they knew I wasn't trying to steal. I went to the cashier and explained thoroughly that I was going to step outside and take a call. She understood and I stepped out to my car for a private call. The owner came outside, stared out of the door of the business and WAIVED THE BILL as if I wasn't going to pay. Thanks, buddy. You costed your waiter a $20 tip for what was a good meal. read more

Piola - Forgot to take a picture before I ate. It was good. I remembered as I began to destroy this last slice! Good eats! - Pizza Near Me - Doral, Florida

After reviewing this place a couple months ago I received an apology message from Robert V. And got invited to this place again (didn't went because of the short notice and algo anti-hygienic environment).... But a couple of days ago this same person ROBERT V. rated funny my review. Find this very disrespectful. This is supposed to be the manager or owner( I don't know). Please see pictures. Already file complaint in Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and , the Department of Business and Professional Regulations. ------------ I would give a cero but there is no option. Pizza is really good. We went today, after we finished eating we asked for a box for the pizza. When my husband opened there was a living COCKROACH inside the box. My husband threw the box to the floor and the manager started running to kill the cockroach. Manager was great, didn't charged us for the food. But all the boxes are inside the kitchen. It means most of them and the food must be infested with insects. Please see pictures of boxed inside kitchen and the cockroach inside our box. We are never returning to this place!! Avoid Piola Doral ! read more

This is my favorite pizza place in Doral. Although, I am also a fan of many other menu items. It goes without saying that the food is delicious but the wine list is pretty good and the cocktails are fantastic. The caipirinhas have always been great and as close to what you get in Brazil. Today, our server was also the bartender, Libia. OMG! We had the traditional caipirinha. It was amazing. Libia did a great job. She's also friendly, knows the menu, and made great recommendations. Don't miss out on this Doral gem and its great staff. Ask for Libia. read more

Can I give this place more than 5 stars??? I went here on a Tuesday night in the mood for some brick oven pizza. We were a group of 8 and were seated right away. Customer service was outstanding from the minute we walked in to the moment we left. We ordered drinks . It's been a minute since I ordered a fruit drink and actually came with real fruits. For a minute I thought I ordered a smoothie . If that was our drinks I couldn't wait to try the food . The pizza was right on point exactly what I was feening for . The owner was here that night and gave us bread and caprese salad on the house! Can you believe that? I also ordered a guac appetizer that tasted like they had just grounded the avocado. Super fresh. I was definitely impressed with the service here. Can not wait to be back!!! If you are in doral give this place a try. Everything is delicious read more

I'm in love with this place. I go there each week like a ritual with my friend. I always order the garlic knots and each time i try a different pizza and they're all so delicious. I really like how thin the dough is and crispy not doughy at all. read more

Ate at the bar, which had a nice atmosphere with the many multicolored pendant lamps and '80s music. The bar tender Libia was very attentive and helpful. Actually all the staff were great including the manager Wissem, he made sure I took some extra condiments with the leftovers I was taking home (I typically over-order here, but usually just take out). Had the spicy Meat Lovers Pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms added, on the gluten free crust. Also had the Meatballs with Burrata and the Aristotele salad. Yes, it was a lot of food, but I did plan to take at least half of it home. The food was great, always impressed with their gluten free crust. Great dining experience! read more

Super expensive pizza and extremely small. I ordered extra cheese and not only they didn't put it, but when I called explaining about it, the girl on the phone responded by saying; "Oh, ok, thanks for letting us know", "Next time we'll make sure we put it"....Really,??? What about "we apologize for the inconvenience, please bring the pizza back and we'll put more cheese or make a new one for you". Avoid this place...Not worth it and again, EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and small portion. read more

The deal to take advantage of at Piola is the Mezzo & Mezzo. I'm no Italian, but I'm pretty sure it translates to half-and-half as you can get half a salad and half a pizza (or pasta) for one low price. The salad was, surprisingly, the standout. The chop chop was served with - you guessed it - chopped greens as well as a gratuitous amount of diced ham, mozzarella, eggs, and black olives. All this with dijon mustard caused my tastebuds to tingle. The olives came in guns blazing as they brought a bitter, salty flavor without overpowering the dish entirely like, say, sardines or anchovies would. The second half of lunch consisted of a Diavola pizza. While they say that you're eating half of a usual serving with the Mezzo & Mezzo deal, it doesn't seem like you're having a lesser portion at all. The pizza's crust is extremely thin, crispy, and cracker-like. If you hold a slice up, the bread stays flat - like a cracker. They're cooked in an fire brick oven so the pizza naturally tastes blackened. The amount sauce and cheese on top of the pizza is minimal. Don't expect the pepperoni to be spicy or give any noticeable kick as the "spicy" sausage is very mild. If I could go back, I'd drop the pizza and go for more of that awesome salad. read more

Delicious. The bruschetta is perfect. Appetizers are all delicious. Service is always excellent. Have not had one negative experience and I dine often. Pineapple juice is a must! Its the primary reason I keep coming. Its soooo good. Gives me goosebumps of how good it is. The reason for the 4 stars is ONLY due to the Margherita pizza. For each slice of pizza they just throw 1 small leaf on top of the pizza. For a pizza that has a designated spot on the menu its underwhelming. The basil is an afterthought and sometimes has even been burned. They usually throw it on top after cooking but we have received the basic burned at times. They may have thrown it on before cooking. If the basil were sliced and sprinkled on top it would make a tremendous difference. read more

Really disappointed since last time I was there before pandemic. We love pizza! And piola it's like a "it's gonna be good for sure" choice. The place is really nice, music is good, great for groups having pizza and beers for the night. I recommend you the Mantova pizza it's one of my favorites, also tried the calzone and was PERFECT! I've also tried the "all you can eat" gnocchis every 29th of each month and it is amazing that you pay $16 for a lot of different great sauces, I just loved it! read more

This place I'm told hasn't been open for that long. It's good. The plae is simple and trendy. No frills here. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food is definitely the star. The pizza was Italian! The dough is fesh and handcrafted. The toppings are fresh and of a high quality standard, no doubt. I am not a tomato sauced pasta lover. I like linguine alle vongole, frankly. We had pasta with fresh tomato sauce, and let me tell you it was OMG good!!!! My wife and I were sharing... I finished the plate it was soo good! I was craving pizza. I don't eat it much for health reasons, but I love pizza & I definitely satisfied a craving tonight! I recommend this place to anyone. It won't disappoint! read more

I have to Piola countless times! Their gnocchi legnano are exquisite! This is my third time in this location and I have honestly been disappointed every time. The quality of the food seems to be inferior. The $15 Lubiana pizza I ordered barely came with any toppings at all and the pasta had a watery sauce. The service is good but the food needs to improve. This is a franchise but the food is certainly not the same as other Piolas i have been to. read more

Who doesn't love pizza? With no shortage on fresh and tasty pies, this spot is a great destination when looking outside the delivery pizza restaurants that truly deliver fresh and delicious pizza consistently. It's got an approach of building your own pie with customizable options yet also offers top sellers on their menu with many options of appetizing combinations. The decor is actually quite cool and I sipped on a Peroni as we awaited our pies to be made. It's directly located in a small shopping strip which offers parking making it an accesible option for a quick bite. Their pizza is cooked in a brick oven which adds the crispy texture to the crust and gooey factor to the cheese; it's a winning compilation in every way. Aside from pizza, they also serve soup, salads and pasta which makes it great when catering to larger parties with different flavor profiles. read more

I'm a big pizza junkie so when I drove by Piola I knew I had to make a stop to try it out. I prefer authentic Italian style pizza and it did not disappoint. The place is nice on the inside. Pretty upscale and clean. They also offer covered seating outside. I sat outside because it was pretty chilly inside. We were seated right away on a Saturday night. Wing house is right next door so I was able to watch sports while I ate. They menu is basically pizza. That is what they are known for so that is what you should get. We started off with a pitcher of sangria which turned out to be a mini pitcher for almost $30. The sangria was good but very sweet. It filled out 6 of the small wine glasses they bring you to match the pitcher. We ordered the avocado with fogata bread to start off and boy was it delicious. The avocado was very fresh and full of tomatoes. The fogota bread was toasted just enough and had the prefect seasoning. I would definitely order it again. We ordered two pizzas the piola and the Quattro formaggi. I added pepperoni on the Quattro. They pizzas came out in about 20 minutes cooked to perfection. They use a brick oven to cook them in. The ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. The pizzas are about 12" and cut into 4 slices. They only thing I would recommend is to cut them into 6 slices because the pizza was folding as you picked it up to you at it. Probably because he crust was thin. The only thing I regret is not having enough room for desert. By the way, the pizzas are large enough to be shared between two people with a appetizer. Expect to spend around $50-$70 per couple depending on drinks. read more

We had dinner last night at Piola. It was our first time there, we definitely enjoyed the food. They had live music (a guy playing a ukulele). The service was a little slow, but the menu had a lot of options. We both enjoyed the pizza, although it wasn't as crunchy on the bottom as I expected (that could also be because I had meat lovers which probably doesn't help with cooking). My girlfriend gave the white pizza a thumbs up by saying, "this is exactly what I wanted," which is the best compliment she can give. We wanted to try the desserts but we said we were too full, however we went to cold stone a few shops down The service was a little slow but altogether the food was good, and I am sure I will be back. read more

My mom visited from New Jersey and she's super picky when it comes to food and is always unsatisfied no matter where we go. Took her here and she was blown away by the quality of the food and the amazing customer service! The food you can tell is prepared there and from scratch, super fresh and BEST pizza i've had in Florida. Hands down. Lafayette (I hope i'm spelling that right) was super helpful in explaining the menu items and the inspiration behind the menu and the restaurant itself. Piola - 128. 12" Honolulu Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Doral, Florida

We went Friday night. The place was packed with a waiting line. I could have rated it a one star and be done with it but I don't feel they deserved it. They were understaffed yet you could see everyone that was present hustling. I feel sometimes you walk into a place with a lot of employees and the service is horrendous. These people were doing their very best and were honest about their delays. They sat a group of 14 before us and I overheard the manager tell them we will sit you and take your order but please be prepared to wait 45 minutes to receive your order as the oven is full to capacity. We were seated shortly afterwards. The manager himself took our drink order and brought it out. Honestly while the wait was a little lengthy the service was very good. We were hungry so we made sure to order an appetizer that did not have to be put in the oven, the Caprese with burrata. For dinner we shared a Houston pizza. AMAZING. If you like avocados and jalapeños this is your pizza. The avocado is placed on top after the pizza is cooked. Now I know why they have so much business. Good for them. read more

I've come here a few times with my boyfriend and have always had a good experience. The pizza is really good, and I especially enjoy the garlic knots. I used to get a white pizza, however last time we went they didn't have that pizza anymore. It was a little disappointing and I hope they bring that back soon. Came here for lunch on a Tuesday with my boyfriend. We ordered the avocado dip appetizer which tasted fresh and came with soft focaccia pieces. We were able to eat in and they had several tables between us and the next group that came in so I feel they're taking the necessary precautions for social distancing.
