My husband and son went to PINSTACK today and paid for an hour of bowling. After one game (15 minutes) the manager kicked them off the lane stating that is was reserved. The manager stated that for their inconvenience, he would refund their money and give them game cards. Instead, the manager refunded the money but WOULD NOT GIVE THEM THE GAMECARDS HE PROMISED! After my husband questioned, he stated he said that but still wouldn't give him the gamecards. Really BAD MANAGEMENT!!!!! WONT BE GOING THERE AGAIN!!!!!! read more

Love the atmosphere and facilities, but the wait for bowling is crazy. They have to find a better solution. It is not practical to wait for 2-3 hours to bowl. Overall, my family had a great time though. Would have given 4 stars if more money was left in my wallet. read more

My girlfriend and I chose Pinstack as fun date. The bowling, food, and laser tag were great. However, our experience at the ropes course was unacceptable. The attendant, 'Jordan', demeaningly and with a mocking tone asked my girlfriend "what are you here for you" when she replied to do the ropes course he continued his act with a smirk and more antagonizing question. It's sad how one rotten apple can ruin the bunch. This encounter ruined our experience as it left my girlfriend and I offended. I hope Pinstack considers their staffing, and they young man considers how to treat women and the power of words. read more

I frequent this PinStack location for lunch because it not only is across from my business thus convenient but also friendly staff, good lunch values, and clean facility. I would like to share my experience today: My best friend (who is elderly) and I ate lunch together at this PinStack location. The waitstaff that took our order and made sure every thing was perfect...several times took my credit card and my friends cash for each one of our bills for the meal. My friend gave her the black payment folder with his cash pmt in it. Little did I know and my friend didn't know he had left a large bill inside. "Becca" caught up with us all the way out across the parking lot, almost to my car and told my elderly friend she thought he had left too much cash for the bill and too much for any possible tip! This fine person "Becca" has proven herself to be kind, honest, and caring and I would like to share our experience the kind of person she is to everyone. Fine person, and a great reflection upon PinStack by association! I am shocked to be be sitting at the kitchen bar and see 12-15 employees as a group stand around and act so unprofessional. Half of the employees are on their phones in the back. 1 employee is simulating a sexual act on a female employee and she is fine with it. I see hair backing up to plates on the counter and honestly a staff that does not seem to be managed to work professionally. I am embarrassed for the owners of this nice place. read more

We had my son's 9th bday party here this past Sunday. In short, the the kids had a great time and the games/activities were fun, but the service was very disappointing and subpar. As a parent hosting a party for 20 kids, it was a very stressful experience. The party room wasn't ready in time. We didn't get it until 5 minutes after the party start time. We scrambled to set up. I don't understand why a team member or manager didn't help our party host get the room ready since he was running behind. Also, our party host was not skilled in his role. Parents had to jump in and facilitate things. They were short drink pitchers and were unable to provide all the drinks I requested. In a facility this large how could this be possible? The on duty supervisor did not seem competent either. Proper training and support of team members seem to be severely lacking at this location. Due to text space limitations I will keep this short. Also, I contacted the general manager on Monday in efforts to give feedback so that others may have a better partexperience and 3 days later I still have not heard back. We were so excited when Pin Stack opened in Allen. I wish our experience was different. It stole my joy as a parent while trying to celebrate my son's birthday. I would like to add that I did get the opportunity to speak with Mr. G and that my feedback was received in the spirit that it was intended. I feel that my concerns will be addressed to avoid similar future experiences. read more

Food sucks... had a grilled cheese sandwich, which was basically an overdose of grocery-bought whipped cream cheese, not good. Customer server sucks too, because most of the servers are teenagers who dont really care about quality service. Arcade and bowling are good, but pricey. Overall 2.9/5. read more

Here now for our nephew's party and the customer service is awful. The girl helping with the party is extremely rude. We're now sitting in the bar area while the kids play and have never been asked if we'd like a drink of water. The manager has walked by twice and just looked at us. I enjoyed bowling but the food was meh and I HATED how they ran ads on most of the tv screens in the back. Absolute penny pinching instead of having cool graphics play or something.. My whole family felt a little sick the next day, after eating food here. service was good, cept when i was brought a diet dr pepper when i asked for a coke. oh and what i didnt like also was how the bowling lanes are so close together. we had a bunch of awkward moments with another family a lot of the time. it was so hard to watch my family bowl while seated. everyone was breaking their necks just trying to see peoples shots. hated how the couches are facing directly at each other. makes for a whole bunch of awkward eye contact with strangers. Pinstack is a great concept but hasn't gotten it all quite together. Hopefully they will take feedback to improve. Held my daughter's birthday party here a few months ago. First, I submitted an online party request a month before and never received a response. I even resubmitted it and never heard back. I finally called and waited as long as was needed to make a reservation. Second, I preordered food from the catering menu that was emailed to me. After we bowled, we went to our party room to find one of the main entrees was completely wrong. After several minutes and our server not knowing what to do, I was told to go to the main desk to talk to the manager. I had to wait for the manager and explain that we were given the wrong item (sliders) for her to tell me that the item I ordered (barbecue platter) was not on the menu and they do not sell it. Because she was convinced I was making this up, I had to pull up my email and show her instead of her looking my order up herself. On top of it all, 20 minutes had passed and our party room time was almost gone with our guests out of the other food (pizza, chicken tenders). She then offered to make it. As soon as the food arrived, our time was over and we were rushed from the room. Third, the barbecue was a mistake to order. The meat was not flavorful and the rolls were stale. Stick with the easy stuff, pizza, chicken tenders and fries. Fourth, the hostess tried her best and packed up the food for it to sit in my hot car, which we ended up throwing out. What a waste of money. Fifth, the customer service of the teenagers and manager is hit or miss. This $500 birthday party was not stress free and enjoyable as I hoped. Great place to kill an hour if you want to spend $100. It's low cost entertainment that the public accepts because there is nothing better. The food is subpar, but I'll get to that later. Bowling is at least $30 an hour on non-peak hours so I usually stick to the arcade. Every arcade costs more than 4 pts, which equals a $1. You are paying more than a dollar per game which is still rigged for the house to win. The bumper cars are pretty entertaining, but they cost $5 per ride and don't even last 5 minutes. The workers are constantly on their phone or talking to other workers on non-peak hours. I'ts understandable to be bored when your only job is to mimic rules and press a button when there are no customers, but it is unacceptable to let a customer stand at an open attraction only to wait for the worker to get out of their laser tag game. I've been here more times than I would like, but it happens be one of the only entertaining places an adult can play games while also getting a drink. I've tried most of the menu and even the wagyu beef is sad. I recently had their hummus trio which consisted of a pesto, a garlic sauce, and a vodka sauce mixed with a limited amount of chickpeas. It was the most disgusting and runny hummus I've ever had. Suggestions for the business: Raise your standards. Most of your late night business are sad adults trying not to adult. it's understandable that this is not your target audience, but this is what you got in this area. You bring business with your games and beer. You keep business with your decent menu. Right now you don't have a decent menu. read more

Terrible place as it relates to certain employees. We had a company outing at your place yesterday, Wednesday, 12-6-17. Your young man in charge of the bumper car room was a total idiot, extremely insensitive and in very bad need of professional training. Doesn't appear your management offers any of that type training. My coworkers went inside the room bumper and picked, sat in ther car as they waited for this young man to get the process started. This event took place between 12:30 & 1:00 pm. He walks into the room, walks over to my coworker and asked her to leave the room. All the other coworkers were concerned why she had to leave so suddenly. As she was exiting the room a couple co-workers asked if she was ok and why she was leaving. Your employee, very loudly advised our other co-workers that she was overweight and not permitted to ride the bumper car. It just doesn't get any more humiliating than that. True signs of idiocy. And a reflection of your management shortcomings. Our company spent a lot of money at your place and a good chance we will never return. Cannot recommend your place to others. Jimmy read more

As somebody who has multiple years of service industry experience including management, this PINSTACK has hands down displayed the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life. I went in two nights ago to bowl for a couple of hours. Our server only came by what seemed like every thirty minutes so I decided to open a tab at the bar for quicker service. Bar service was slow and the bartender had to make runs to a different bar due to her not having a completely stocked bar. Two days later (today) I woke up to an extra charge on my credit card that almost doubled what I had spent the entire night. I went in to talk to the GM, Will. When I arrived I informed a maintenance guy as to what had happened and he got Will for me. Will was great, at first, and immediately started tracking down the extra payment. When he found the signed copy, it did not have my signature on it. I informed him that my signature is very distinct and that he could find either of my other signed receipts and see that it was not me. My guess is that the bartender opened up a second tab with my card and some body else at the bar started ordering drinks under that tab. Will, THE GENERAL MANAGER, told me there was nothing he could do and that I would have to call my bank to settle it. I immediately got in my car and called USAA, who then asked if I could get photos of all three signed copies to verify that mine was not on the third. So back in I go, again to find the same maintenance guy, who went back into an office and then came back and said they would not let me take photos, and that they will get it settled with the bank. While I had been extremely calm and collective, the guy started raising an attitude as if I were a burden. At this point, this business has come between me and my own money. I got no "I'm sorry" or any attempt on their end to figure out a resolution. My family goes, or used to go here regularly, and I will make sure that none of my friends or family ever goes to this venue again. Customer service starts with upper management. If the GM cannot do the right thing in the moment, none of the staff will. The server displayed terrible serving skills, the bartender cannot simply put one person's credit card on their own tab, and the GM does not know how to handle conflict. I am frustrated I spent a single dime at this establishment, I am embarrassed for my friends who work for PINSTACK at this location and at others, and I will make sure to take my business elsewhere. read more

What a great addition to Allen. Great place for family and adult fun. Management and staff friendly and attentive.

If you've read any of my reviews before, you'd see that I generally do more barking than bragging, but when I experience a great time- I am inclined to dote on that establishment. Although Pinstack in Allen is newly opened and has some kinks to work out, as seen in previous reviews, there is SO much more positive that overwhelms the negative. Staff is friendly and quick to fix any issues that you may come across, and they surely find the time to express their apologies if an experience is subpar. The building is packed with multi-player games sure to bring out the competitive nature of any individual, and as a former athlete I enjoy kicking my friend's butts in basketball, air hockey, 3 point shoot-out and that whacky sonic olympic game. I'm not really good at the shooting games, but I play them and they are fun, but you have to be careful because these will cause you to swipe that game-card until there's nothing left. I love the kids games too, especially skeeball and that fishing game where you can harpoon blowfish! Coming from someone who is not big on arcade games, this place definitely endures a good time for the non-gamer as well. If you're into bowling, the best part is transitioning from the arcade floor to the bowling area, to get really competitive if you're playing as a group. There is honestly, SO MUCH. to do in this massive building, and the hardest part is staying together in a group when everyone wants to try something different. You constantly find yourself wondering, "what do I conquer next"... When you're all-gamed-out and ready for food, there is a large restaurant to consume some tasty bites and brews. I love the pizza, and it's a great shareable option. I tried the fish tacos, which weren't my favorite and I have to say the pizza is top notch! Overall, Pinstack is a one-stop-shop when it comes to fun for ALL ages! Don't take my word for it- stop by yourself. The wait staff was tired, the managers stressed, and the high level management walking through showed they didn't care about their staff. If it weren't for the bar tenders serving good drinks & wait staff serving the good food, I'd say don't go to a place where the upper management doesn't pay attention to it's staffs needs. Just in the few months I've gone there, the staff has yet to be the same (high turn over!). May have to go to Main Event where I see the same staff happy each time. read more

I took my family there to meet a friend who was having her son's birthday party there. The boys had fun on all the toys and video games which is great! As for the bad review, Do not go to Pinstack expecting that you will get service in a reasonable amount of time. We were seated in a back room and basically forgotten about. We would see a server come in and out of the room but apparently we were invisible to her. One of the people in the birthday party group went to hunt down an employee and told them that we are being ignored. Then the waitress says that she can't split the check, even though the host called ahead and a pinstack employee said that they could if you did not reserve a table. In short, I am not sure that they have enough staff to meet the needs of the guests and when the staff did finally come we had to keep waving and shouting to get refills, etc.. In short, this was my first and last time to Pinstack. I will not be going back! The food was good when you finally got it but far overpriced for the terrible service! read more

Came here for a company team event. I had such a good time that I had to leave a review. Started with bowling. System, rentals, balls, shoes are all shiny and new. Shout out to Grey, our server. He was on point with the drinks, helping us take a team pic, and getting us all the stuff we asked for. There was a guy on staff (didn't get his name) that was climbing up that speed climbing wall in sub-7 second time was impressive. Absolutely had to try it ourselves. The wall is easy enough for somebody that never climbs (like myself) to do and have some fun. The arcade/ticket games they had are the newer ones, not like the old school games that still cost the same now as they did back when to play. The management was also proactive in asking us what we needed. All the staff that we had interacted with were helpful in helping us combine the points left on our cards, finding the restroom, etc. etc. For a first impression for this type of establishment, you really don't get much better than the experience that I had. This was the second birthday party I have attended here with my family. We've had good but not great experiences in the past. Pretty good food, but high prices. Tonight, with 4 kids 7 adults, we dined while bowling on their Wednesday half price wine night. The server seemed put out the entire time, no personality at all, zero. She did not smile once, visited the table maybe four times in two hours to see how we were doing on drinks and such. We ordered tons of food and an 85 dollar bottle of red and a roughly 65 dollar bottle of white, of which the white they brought out in a carafe. Not really sure why they did that, but it seems fishy when you are paying so much and are not able to actually see the bottle. I wasn't paying, so I didn't say anything. After our time was up, they wasted no time in rushing in(so now you show up) to clean up. When asked if we can take bottle of white, which was only half gone, of course they said no. It's my understanding that you may cork a bottle of wine at an eating establishment and take it home?? So, all in all, beware of bad service, and stingy business practice. I'll forever remember this place for the single worst customer service experience of my life. I had been taking my family here every other week dropping between $100-150 each visit bc it had been worth the experience. On my final visit to this location it started off like usual...got a bowling lane, ordered food/drinks for the family & we were having a great time. About 30min into our experience our game just ends midway through on the screen with no explanation. When I finally get someone to come over & explain (5-10min later) they tell us that we need to move because they had previously booked a party that needed more than one lane. No mention of that when I reserved the lane & not a single hint of an apology for the inconvenience. When I explain how idiotic that is and that you would never go to a restaurant that made you move tables halfway through your dinner the only thing they offered was to make sure they moved our time back to when we were forced to move. I paid our tab, got a refund for the remaining time & I will never be back to one of these locations ever again! This might be the most poorly managed facility in the entire service industry & you're better off spending your money at any of their competition! read more

I had high hopes for this place but was really let down. Bowling was outrageously overpriced. Yes, it was a Saturday night. But almost $50 for an hour, two shoes, and a pair of socks? My goodness! The food was not that great and took forever. When I did finally get it, I could tell it had been sitting back there for a while. Service was slow. Bar/servers didn't seem to be very knowledgeable or experienced. I'm not sure how long this place has been open. I understand it takes time to get used to things when it's a new place, but I really feel everyone all around could could use some more training. It was close to 11 on a Saturday night and I was bowling next to young kids. I'm not going to go into parenting or anything, but come on. I just felt like at that time of the night, it's adult time and I felt I had to be cautious of things I said and words I used to be respectful. I know it's a family place. But I would think that would be at like 6 or 7 pm. Not almost 11. Overall I was pretty disappointed and won't be back. read more

We are big fans of Pinstack Plano so we were thrilled when the Allen location opened up. We had family in town so we decided to take them there. Adults and kids. We bowled in the VIP area and the food and service was good. We enjoyed the bowling part. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to find out they do not offer the same promotions as the Plano location. After bowling we wanted to hit up the arcade. We went to buy the Walk in Special we get at Pinstack Plano all the time and they said they don't offer anything like that. We were trying to purchase play time by the hour and they do not offer anything like that???? Instead you have to pay for EVERY.SINGLE.GAME separately! YIKES!!!! That can really add up with our family of five plus our out of town guest! The 3 ladies at the front desk just said they knew nothing about any of these hourly plans.... We bought about about $100 worth of credits and they were gone in less than 30 minutes. We did not do any of the attractions or play any of the more expensive games where you win tickets. Way too expensive to pay for every single game. We decided we are better off going to Main Event's arcade with hourly rates. Or make the drive to West Plano to thats Pinstack. I hope they get it together soon. I realize they are new to the are but not a good first impression. read more
