This place is huge & great location for adults to hang out & feel like kids again. I wasn't a fan of the amount of kids running around this place with all the adults drinking & cursing up a storm. That bothered me but parents have the choice to do what they see fit for their children. It started feeling like Chuck E. Cheese at some point which made me leave cause I couldn't take it anymore. I really wasn't sure who the target audience was supposed to be..adults or kids. Aside from that, I like the concept of the place & I may come back to watch a game with the guys but that's about it read more

This place is so fun! We went here with some friends around 9p on a Saturday night in January, and even though the space is huge, it was packed! We were told that the wait for bowling would go beyond closing time and there was a 2.5 hour wait for shuffleboard, so it would probably be good to get there earlier in the night next time! They have great seating with tons of tables, big comfy couches and TVs playing sports all over the place. Despite how busy they were, it was still pretty easy to snag a table and some couches. There are plenty of pinball machines, which are super fun and cost only $.50 per game. The drinks are surprisingly pricey! I didn't look at the exact prices, but for my husband's IPA and my Foos-Berry (delicious! btw) it was $18! Maybe we just don't get out much. :) Still, very worth it for the fun, unique atmosphere instead of just another bar. read more

a group and I had been regulars since about 6 months after they opened but it's just keeps going downhill. We would stop in like once a month for drinks after work, and the first couple times we're great. Then it was weird, every time we would come in it would be 90% brand new staff and the service just went downhill. Last few times we have stopped in it was terrible. The waitresses clearly didn't care, the super tall brunette bartender acted like it was a huge ordeal to make out drinks "3 beers 2 shots and cocktail". Then another short chubby waitress kept coming over and strongly coming onto one of the guys in out group even though he made it clear he was not interested. We left and went to another bar, and the same waitress showed up and bothered us there also. it's a shame becuase we use to really like going there, but it's just not worth it anymore. 13 dollar beers to get annoyed by one server and then not served by any others. read more

Fun times ! It's a gamble to get here at the right time to get a lane or get on the waitlist. They allow under age until a certain point which is great but most adults know it so it gets packed quick. There isn't much else to say really. Come in play some duck pin , have a beer, and chill. read more

Drinks are a bit on the high side but GOOD. I recommend the cheech Marin. Love that they are dog friendly and let dogs onto the patio. Best part of this place is the friendly employees!!! read more

Very clean and friendly. A fun place to just relax and have a good time. Make sure you check out the bathrooms the signs are funny. read more

Games were cool that's about it, had a bartender named angie who talks your ear off and not in a good way. The only thing she talked about was her appearance and sex which must be the absolute only thing going on that brain because when it came down to actually getting drinks everything was a mess. I give it 3 stars only because of the games Hire people with a brain next time and someone who isn't so obviously an idiotic narcissist. I didnt come here to talk about my life let alone yours so why in the few hours I was there that's all that was being talked about when all I wanted was a good cocktail, not the hot mess I got. Will go back if she isn't working. read more

Love this place for all the games & entertainment! Kids allowed until 8pm and most games are free! Always packed and always fun. Must check out! read more

Had such a great time this past weekend at Pins. The bartenders were really friendly, the place was well kept, bathrooms were really clean. Plenty of room for families, wedding parties, and friends to hang out. Pins is also attached to 16 Bit, so even more things to do. I really enjoyed the life size Connect Four and Jenga, and of course the drinks. Across the street are places to eat so location was great. read more

Crazy policies! Ligh's tonight so weak so there's 2+ our weights when the place is empty ridiculous. And then you can play bocce and then wait two hours for A lane to open up because they only will let you do one lane AND ONE GAME!. This ruins all fun. NEVER coming back. Going to TopGolf instead. read more

Honestly for how often I'm here and how much it costs, you'd think the music would be better, have a variety, and be more custom. Idk a touch tunes would be nice. Probably won't come back for a while read more

I have been here twice and neither experience was mind blowing and that was 100% due to the lack of customer service. My first trip was a Saturday night with a group of about 6 other girls. The bar was busy of course but once we did get the attention of a bartender, she took one of our drink orders and then never came back! Another bartender finally came back over (after trying to get anyone's attention for about 10 minutes) and the attitude on this guy was ridiculous!! Ok, I'm all about second chances so I visit again on Wednesday evening before heading to another event. My friend and I sit at the bar where there was maybe 8 others already being served and had to wait, yet again for a bartender to even acknowledge us. We ordered a couple simple drinks (a beer for me and a mixed drink for my friend) and the bartender huffed and walked away. I thought I was the only one that noticed but my friend questioned why I even brought her here to be blatantly disrespected. Ok, Pinns that's strike 2! The concept is fun and it's seems like if you are the "right person" you would get treated well and have a good time but the staff here clearly would rather provide good service to someone that clearly isn't me or the fun crew I roll with. The building is a lot of fun and there is a lot of fun to be had but I have yet to experience that because I am always immediately turned off after my bar experiences. read more

Fun, quite a few different activities, great patios, drinks on the high side but good during happy hour. Reliable for a good time, not sure what else you'd need. read more

So they want me to go on and on to leave an exceptional review but really?! Pins is amazing! Great for the whole family. Good beer selection. I do t like hoppie beers. No food though but there is a food truck. If you haven't experienced Pins you need to. read more

Went to pins for New Years! I had so much fun that I go back all the time. The employees, guests, drinks, games are all fun and rememberable. This is great for date nights and especially ladies nights. There is so much to do and many drink options. read more

This is the most fun place! Coming from NYC, Columbus is not really the most hoppin' place. But when you step into Pins, it feels like all the cool people hang out here. I'm not exactly a beer person, but their cider is dangerously yummy. Yes, I described beer as yummy and I stand by it! There's so much happening in a huge place. Lots of old school arcade games, huge jenga blocks, and even a mini bowling alley. There's a wait for bowling but once you're up, it's fun and worth the wait. I had so much fun here and I wish I had time to play some arcade games and explore. I even picked up an original gamer t shirt for my boyfriend because it's just such a cool spot! I'd definitely want to stop by Pins the next time I'm in town! read more

Pins Mechanical is so much fun! We went there early on a Saturday and had a great time Duck pin bowling. Cocktails were great--some unique ones. We had some snacks that were good too. Great selection of beers. You have to get there early or plan to wait for bowling. We went to the Dublin location one evening and it was a 90 minute wait. But they also have outdoor games during the summer--giant beer pong and giant Jenga to name a couple. It's a fun time. read more

A little loud, but so much fun. Great beer selection. The atmosphere is fantastic. We will be back soon!

Cool atmosphere. Like the idea of being able to bring my own outside food. The drinks are overpriced with very few decent specials. The available in house games are picked over and usually held throughout the night by groups. Despite all of this, I was tempted to rate Pins Mechanical Company 3 stars, however the bartender was an absolute ass-hat. He was rude, smug, and condescending. Along with the bearded hipster brat, there was no last call at the end of the night and 25 minutes before close a server informed me that if I didn't finish my drinks immediately, they would be poured out. First and last time giving this snotty joint my business. read more

Super cool, cavernous bar with retro arcade and games like giant Jenga. All your 1980's favorite games are here and they are mostly only 25 cents, yes, you heard that correctly, 25 cents or free. Only a few large games have an inexpensive fee-but none of the numerous pinball or retro games do. The bar has an extensive menu of craft beer and other drinks, none of which are over $8-10 and soft drinks are only $2. They have well priced pitcher drinks for groups of 4-6 people as well. No food, but food trucks parked in front are cheap and tasty. During day hours, the place is packed with groups of adults and kids. Many groups were celebrating birthdays. The staff is young and hipstery and very friendly and competent. Considering how large and crowded the place is, everything was kept really clean-including the ladies room. At night, it becomes a fabulous kids free zone. This is the perfect place to hang with friends or to go solo to meet people. There are many different zones, including comfy leather English sofas and tables everywhere, so it is set up really well for socializing if you want to leave the group and have a private convo with someone. If you are an 80's fan like I am-the neon signs in the bathroom and velvet icon paintings will make you smile! read more

As other reviews have pointed out, this place has got a lot of unusual "company policies" like no balloons or children after 8 PM. I do think it's a great space for large groups or parties though. Just leave your balloons and children at home! Anyway I came here with a large group and while it was still quite crowded, we were able to find space to hang out. Most of the staff were friendly except for one of the bartenders named Walter. He seemed really miserable and rude. I hope he was just having a bad night. Cheer up Walter! read more

I held an informal party here. This is a great place for a party. There is lots to do. Some of my friends got here early and had so much fun that they lost track of time. We played bocce, pinball, and a large version of jenga. You can also bring food from outside. Food trucks are available nearby. Restaurants, an ice cream shop, and other stores are located nearby. I recommend coming here for yourself or to throw a party. Pins Mechanical is fun! read more

My bartender was not sociable what so ever . I accidentally spilled my second drink on the bar which was full and he didn't even replace it. And it's not like I didn't tip him well either . Won't be going back read more

We love this place! If you are looking for a fun night out, go to Pins Mechanical. They have mini bowling (of course), ping pong, giant jenga, pin ball, bocce ball, craft beers, food trucks, fire pits, oh my! I mean, it's always hoppin! Plus it's in a great location. FREE parking garage right across the street! Many other restaurants in the vicinity too. You can't go wrong with this place. read more

Ended up going to a real estate party there, was fun for the whole family. Drinks were amazing; I had the Pinball Wizard with blueberry vodka. It was delicious!! Only problem was another customer there that was trying to start trouble with my group and myself. Needless to say, we ended up leaving because of it. Even with that being said, I would still definitely go back. And parking is super close if you park on the ground level of the parking garage right across the street from the doors. read more

4 hour wait for anything other than pinball. Pinball is fine and all but after 3-4 they are all the same. There is not enough seating so you basically have to fight people for a seat or wait and hope you find something. For the amount of hype and positive reviews I was expecting so much more. Overall the experience wasn't worth it. Want a good beer? Go to the Pint Room across the street. Good beers and you will be able to sit down. I won't be back. read more

If you go to Pins before 8 pm, you can expect to see families with children and teenagers, as well as a mix of adults. After 8 pm, it's an adults only crowd and you will be carded at the door. There are pinball machines everywhere, as well as bocce ball, foosball, duckpin bowling and ping pong tables. They also have a comfortable mix of leather couches and chairs, regular tables and bar height tables with chairs and stools for seating. We enjoy sitting next to the open windows and taking in the view of Dublin. There are also large TVs all over the place featuring sporting events and news. The staff seems to be friendly and they do a great job keeping the place clean and serving people drinks. There are often food trucks that park out front at night and serve customers who dine outside. This is a great place for families during the day, nightlife at night or for people like myself who are in somewhere between. read more

First time hanging out here and trying this type of bowling. It was early on Friday 4-6. Very laid back vibe. We brought in food and enjoyed the drinks available at the bar. I had a palm beach cocktail but then I saw the tap list. This is a great place to play with the family during the day. Will be back. Super excited to try the arcade next door, too. read more

Okay first off please get your pinball machines operating properly. You guys show all the machines working, but some are not. This is ripping off kids, which is no way to run a business. I was really excited about giving this new location a try being that PINs downtown was so cool. We actually visited this location twice this evening. The first time I came in I was welcomed with an warm greeting and asked for IDs (which EVERY bar should). I was able to get my first drink within 5mins of waiting. Being a Friday i understood wait time is a bit higher. However, once my friend arrived he went to order a round of shots for him and myself and we were skipped over 4 times before being asked by a bar-back (not the bartender) if we needed something. This was the bar side across from the table tennis and adjacent to the bowling lanes on 1/26/18 around 9p by a male bartender. The bar-back got us our shots and was extremely friendly... Now the bartender (I WISH I was told his name) then asked us if we needed anything after he waited on 4... yes 4! People before us while we did everything we could to get his attention including calling him "Junior" which was on his name tag and if you know PINs the name tags are NOT their real names. We simply responded with "no. We're good now." This gentleman was terrible and again I'm sorry for not catching his name. Thinking maybe this was a "one-off" we came back in the same night around 1130p and was served by Ryan another Bartender directly across from the bowling lanes... he was absolutely amazing and conversational with us. He offered GREAT recommendations on bourbons and what he personally liked. This is the type of service I expect and truly appreciate when visiting a location to have a great time and spend my hard earned money. read more

Not coming back. First ever bad review. Nothing to do with Covid. Servers are great. Very attentive. It's the counter service. First we were skipped for pins due to too many in line before us, so the line took longer than five mins for us to reach the counter. The guy didn't think "let's call out the name first before skipping them". He claimed to make it right by giving us next in line. Which was a lie. After several seemed to get their lanes, we asked again. Five more ahead of us. Apparently our phone number had been thrown away so the auto service was ok to notify us. Keep in mind we were literally sitting in front of them the WHOLE TIME. It's been 2.5 hrs and no lane. First ever bad review. read more

I've recently started coming to Pins with friends and I absolutely love it and the atmosphere. The bartender that waited on me and my friends was Annjie! She was super friendly and welcoming! The person serving beer behind the bar had a poor attitude. It was almost as if she was doing us a favor to sell us a couple of beers. I presume finding good help is not easy these days but really, how hard can it be to find someone who is reasonably pleasant. We won't be back..... read more

I have been to Pins a few times now, most recently with the family. What I have found is that no matter when you go, there's a 1.5-2 hour wait for bowling, which even with all the pinball and arcade games (all solo activities, making it hard to manage watching multiple kids with divergent interests), can be a little long for little ones, long - even for me. Pins could stand 2X the lanes (a girl can dream) - we can still buy drinks at the alleys while enjoying actually getting to bowl. Don't get me wrong - the duck pin bowling is a blast for all ages - the kids loved it! We will definitely be back, but maybe with a different plan of attack next time. read more

The food truck was Taquitos Taco truck. This place is amazing, the food paired with the beer is the best.

Our group was out for a girls night/bridal shower outing. We put our name in being told it would be a three hour wait and headed down to grab some dinner (they don't serve food at pins but have food trucks usually on the weekends I believe.) We got our text and it basically says You have five minutes to check in or too bad ... haha ANYWAYS... We bolted down there while everyone cashed out at the restaurant... we got our lanes and our friends were another 10minutes but in the middle of us waiting a staff member asked if we were going to bowl (because we hadn't started yet.) we said oh yeah our friends are walking down they had to cash out. He told us to throw a ball so his manager didn't get on him because they had a long wait. Our friends showed up right then and we started. A couple of them went to grab a beer and it took about another 10minutes to grab a beer and we waited on them to take their turn. We got told again by the manager (not very nice in my opinion..) Can you guys keep bowling because we have a long waits So in a nut shell MORAL OF THE STORY If They are busy keep bowling or you will get in trouble and don't take any breaks to grab a drink. For a place called PINS and being a new location they need more then 10lanes because it's the only thing like this in Dublin they are GOING to be busy... and they also need cocktail waitresses taking orders for drinks if they don't want anyone taking a trip to the bar in the middle of their game. We had fun bowling the employees were just off putting and seem grumpy because they were busy... read more
