Wine and paint night for Galentines is the best. This is the second time we decided to have Pinot's Palette host us for our girls night. The instructors are knowledgeable, helpful, and the vibes are perfect. There's a mini snack bar, no Chacuterie, and an assortment of wine, hard cider and more should you be interested. Everyone is so friendly and it's such an ideal spot for girls night, artists, and dates. There's metered street parking, but if you come for the 7-9p classes, it's only an hour parking because after 8p it's free. There's an underground parking garage I didn't see, but I know it exists. We came in on a Tuesday and the parking situation was easy, consider coming earlier to find parking if you decide to partake during a weekend, and having dinner prior should you decide to sip and paint.

Bachelorette party came for one of the classes and had a blast! Would highly recommend for groups. The instructor was thorough and helped explain how to accomplish the final look for those not familiar with painting, and the assistants were helpful as well. They have wine, beer, and mocktail options! Everyone for our group said they would come again.

I've been invited to Pinot's Palette a few times before for paint nights, but last night was my first time initiating a visit on my own -- and it did not disappoint! My friend and I signed up in the afternoon for a 7pm class, and when we arrived about 15 minutes early, everything was already perfectly set up with our names. So cute and so organized! We got settled in and class started right on time. It's such a fun experience, no matter who you go with. Even if you're not artsy at all, you can absolutely do this and have a blast. The instructors make it easy and enjoyable. I also signed up for their rewards system and even got a coupon for my next visit -- love that! Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back soon!

We had a birthday event to celebrate so we booked here for a group of 7. Check in was easy and simple. You can purchase drinks and snacks during the course as well! You do not need to know how to paint at all, as the instructors guide you step by step for the entire process! Once you check in everything is ready for you and they provide all supplies and aprons. It was super fun and I would definitely come here again! It lasted about 2 hours! Today we had the classic starry night and I was excited to switch up the colors and the vibes for my painting! Hopefully this was giving Wicked!!!

Everything was amazing! Set up was organized. We even added extra colors to our pallet. Service was excellent, from our artist to the bartender. Loved the patience of our instructors as well. We were there to celebrate a birthday and she got a free keepsake painting. Metered (app) parking on the streets or in the parking structure on Delacey.

Had such a fun time at this painting class! The instructor was super interactive and gave really clear, step-by-step instructions that made it easy to follow along -- even for beginners. There was also another staff member walking around to offer extra help, give tips, and refill paint without us even having to ask, which made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. Whether you're going on a cute date or planning a creative hangout with friends, this is such a great idea. We left with our own masterpieces and lots of laughs. Definitely recommend!

My favorite wine and paint place. I always get felice? It's white wine and it's super sweet. Instructions were clear but still doesn't make sense how the teachers drawing comes out 10000x better than what I always draw even after following step by step. Very fun seeing how my friends paint and it's also a good date spot. They have underground parking at the dayton.

This was such an awesome experience with friends and family. The vibe was perfect and the just the right amount of people for a Wednesday night. The owner was really nice and the artist was very clear with instructions. Do not show up late or you will have to catch up on your own. We're definitely coming back it was so much fun! We parked a block away in a public parking lot and payed under $5.

My gf and I had a great time!

Pinot's Palette is a great studio for your next date idea! I took my gf here for our second paint date. Our first experience at a different studio was decent, but nothing like the instruction and vibes here at Pinot's Palette! Our instructor was clear and detailed, allowing us to follow along with ease. Upon signing up I was a bit skeptical knowing the class would be about two and a half hours, but once I started working I was so into it that by the end I was asking for more time. My gf and I had a great time, and I surprised myself with the end product of my painting. I am by no means a painter so I give credit to the great instruction. Great vibes and art piece to take home and put up on the wall!

This is a great place to do a team activity or group event. I set one up for my work team and Freddy was really kind and helpful throughout the process. They were very accommodating with my requests such as time and last minute canceled guest. It was so fun and it is great for any beginner.

This was a pretty fun experience! I'm not much of a painter so my painting came out pretty funny but they really do teach you some good skills and techniques. The bar had a nice setup and pretty reasonable prices, I got a Diet Coke for like $2. Seats were assigned but we were able to sit all together with a group of 6 by registering online and asking them to put us together. Parking is free downstairs in the underground parking using their passcode. Totally would be back again if there is another painting that I like.

Best double date idea
John P.

If you're looking for a unique date idea this is definitely the spot for you. The class is super fun and the drinks are actually really affordable. The reason why the class is so fun is because the instructor is personable and really does an amazing job guiding you through the process of how to paint an amazing picture. You really don't think you can do it and by the end of the class you actually have a solid painting done. The drinks are all affordable too and they're pretty good as well. Definitely one of the best date nights we've had!

Ask the Community - Pinot's Palette

First time thinking of going here Saturday Jan 7 Do They Have FOOD & DRINKS?

They serve wine, beer, & bottled water. They don't have food but chips are available for purchase.

Can children go, they would just be drawing no drinking?

Unfortunately, all participants have to be 21 and older. They always check IDs. So I would say it's safe to say no.

Is parking free?

There is a parking structure on Dayton, the street behind Pinots Palette. There is 2 hour free parking.

What does the class include when I buy my ticket?

You get all the materials to paint and step by step instruction. Canvas, brushes, paint, and an apron. You take your painting home but the supplies stay. :) Wine, Beer, or soft drinks are available for purchase at the bar.

Mrs. Billy also takes the time after class to update us and offer insights and constructive feedback on his creative growth. Based on our experience, I'd advise parents to take negative reviews with a grain of salt. All the teachers and staff here are genuinely so nice and unlike programs that focus mainly on copying pictures, Art/Work/Place balances technical skill building with creativity, imagination, and play. It's a place where he receives careful supervision and instruction but it's also a place where he feels free to create and his style and quirks are appreciated. At the recommendation of his teacher at his elementary school, my son recently submitted a portfolio and completed a supervised exam to be considered for entry into a respected conservatory for students who show promise in the visual arts- this conservatory hosts this admission process once a year, so it's a big deal and there are a TON of kids and it's very competitive. The exam portion includes completing a still life and a free draw, both supervised. My son passed and is now under consideration. It's true he has some God-given talent and drive, but we could not have given our son the guidance that Art/Work/Place provided, and he had been attending this studio for about six/seven months by the time he submitted his portfolio. We actually didn't even tell Art/Work/Place or Ms Billy that our son was going to be doing this or submitting any kind of portfolio, so whatever they taught him they were teaching to other students and without prejudice. He went from drawing quirky and funny pictures at home to composing quite beautiful and sophisticated still life pieces, and I have been so impressed by how much more motivated my son is to really create on his own. Bottom line, my son loves this studio, it's one of his safe spaces, and Ms Billy has been so encouraging and so kind and enthusiastic, and she was so proud to hear about our son's accomplishment. Right now we just want to see how far he will go here. We really appreciate all they do.

Most recently we hosted a very special birthday party here and I can share that it was incredible, lovely, and probably the most present I've ever been able to be at one of my kid's birthday parties, considering Debbie took on most of the labor! 11 children made pillows together, along with adorable rainbow keychains and they really had a blast. I was so impressed to see my little one sewing away on the machine with her dad next to her and the older kids jump right in. Many of them made 2-3 little pillows, even though they had never sewn before! Debbie's instruction is clear, easy to follow, and she has a great deal of patience while sharing how to create these masterpieces. It was really nice having mochi ice cream in the middle table area too- Debbie had everything needed for a party in case things were forgotten. The little fridge helped too! It was very reasonably priced and an unforgettable experience for the kids. We hope Meraki will be on this cute corner for many years to come!
