My child has been taking classes at Art Planet since Dec 2021. Their prices are reasonable for each lesson. A friend of mine recommended this art studio and I'm glad I went with her recommendation. The director, Ms. Viki is friendly and patient with kids. The art studio is clean and staffs wear mask to ensure safety if the kids even though mask is no longer required by the County. My child is very happy taking classes there. They usually spend 1 to 2 lessons for each art work. They would teach different skills and techniques to complete the art work. My daughter really loves to go to Art planet for her art class every week. My daughter told me that she had a lot fun when drawing with her good friends. Miss Vickey Miss Lee and Miss Joey also helped her a lot when she don't know what to do. There was one time that my daughter didn't have a good mood and she gave all of us a hard time when she arrived at the class. After I left, Miss Vickey stayed with her for a long time to comfort her and make sure that she can focus on painting. My 6 years old son started attending art class here since almost a year and a half ago. At the beginning, my son wouldn't want to go at all, and I never forget the embarrassing moment when I was dropping him off to attend his second art class, he wanted to leave so bad he tried to push me out of the door asking to leave while all other students including the art instructors were looking at us. Both Ms. Viki and Ms. Beckie are very nice and patience to all the students, and I believe because of that he slowly started to show interest with his drawings in school and at home. And about after six to seven months later, we noticed his drawings got much much better comparing to before and even his kindergarten teacher we saw at school open house and few parents from his school had made comments to us saying our son's drawings were pretty nice. My son sometimes would wake up in the middle of the night asking for the time and ask if it is time for art class yet, and it made us believe without asking him how much he loves attending his art class at Art Planet. All I can say we are just very happy to see him so happy coming here to learn how to draw and to see him spending the time at his learning table at home by himself trying to draw something after he finished his homework. read more

There's so much things we love about this place! And this is not our first art school my daughter attended. First of, Ms Vicky is a wonderful and highly experienced instructor that have a tremendous amount of patience with children and art. Her method of teaching allow each child to develop their own sense of creative art and uniqueness to flourish. Ratio of students vs teachers definitely not well balanced. It looks overcrowded when all the students of different age groups sit together in an open setting. It makes it very distracting for other students to focus and learn at their own level. The tuition should also reflect the quality of lesson, facility and instructors' credentials ( diplomas from reputable universities). The environment here is all open, different from a Professional Kids Art School with enclosed classrooms separating different media, age group and level of advancement. Their tuition is about equivalent to more reputable Art Academy with better facility. Overall, I don't feel that my child is getting the value invested here where teachers with promising and reputable credentials to back it up. This says about the quality and professionalism of this place. You get what you paid for! read more

He learned color pencils and water colors and so much. They even have art crafts during holidays like Christmas which my son love it so much. Viki is our favorite art teacher! The most generous and kind person I've met. She has enormous patience with kids and enjoys spending time with them! The other teacher in the art Plent team same as Viki they are very patience with kids. Because of pandemic my son didn't go to kindergarten. When we started art class my little one don't even know how to write his name lol but the teacher so nice over here they even teach him how to write his name. And advised me let him practice at home. With over 3 years art class at art Plent , my son would draw him favorites cartoons or drawing his own story's. I can see my little ones improvement at art. This is a great place to send your kids to learn how to draw. Most other art schools will have the teacher draw something while the students copy. I used to feel a tad cheated whenever my kids brought home their finished work. It always felt as if the teacher did most of the drawing while my kids just filled in the colors. Well, that's just not how this place works and that's why I (as a parent) love this place. Every student is at a different level and is taught to draw at his/her level. The teachers (Ms Vicki and another lady) walk around and instruct/aid each student. This environment encourages creativity and teaches proper techniques appropriate for the student's level of competence.
