Wine and paint night for Galentines is the best. This is the second time we decided to have Pinot's Palette host us for our girls night. The instructors are knowledgeable, helpful, and the vibes are perfect. There's a mini snack bar, no Chacuterie, and an assortment of wine, hard cider and more should you be interested. Everyone is so friendly and it's such an ideal spot for girls night, artists, and dates. There's metered street parking, but if you come for the 7-9p classes, it's only an hour parking because after 8p it's free. There's an underground parking garage I didn't see, but I know it exists. We came in on a Tuesday and the parking situation was easy, consider coming earlier to find parking if you decide to partake during a weekend, and having dinner prior should you decide to sip and paint.

I came here for a company team-bonding activity and my experience here was great, but after speaking with my boss about the logistics, I have to rate this spot a little lower. My boss wanted to a book a painting session here with the jigsaw painting. My boss mentioned he contacted the owner a couple times, but the owner wasn't clear. The owner mentioned he couldn't do the jigsaw painting for our group, but gave in last minute. This was stressful for my boss logistics-wise. Other than the reservation issues, my experience here was good! We had an instructor guiding us throughout the whole experience and she was fun and nice! I liked the setup where she painted alongside of us and her painting was recorded on the monitor which was easy for our group to follow. We did a jigsaw puzzle painting which was really cool since it was a bunch of mini canvases coming together to create a larger painting. It required team work which was perfect for our team bonding activity. The brushes and paint were easy to use and they gave us aprons so we wouldn't get our clothes dirty. There was also a bar inside, so I enjoyed sipping on the sweet moscato while painting. The paintings needed a day to dry and they were available for pickup the following day. I asked the instructor and they also gave us the test painting (the one she was working on) for free. Overall, a good experience here but I would be weary of the booking logistics.

Bachelorette party came for one of the classes and had a blast! Would highly recommend for groups. The instructor was thorough and helped explain how to accomplish the final look for those not familiar with painting, and the assistants were helpful as well. They have wine, beer, and mocktail options! Everyone for our group said they would come again.

We had a birthday event to celebrate so we booked here for a group of 7. Check in was easy and simple. You can purchase drinks and snacks during the course as well! You do not need to know how to paint at all, as the instructors guide you step by step for the entire process! Once you check in everything is ready for you and they provide all supplies and aprons. It was super fun and I would definitely come here again! It lasted about 2 hours! Today we had the classic starry night and I was excited to switch up the colors and the vibes for my painting! Hopefully this was giving Wicked!!!

Everything was amazing! Set up was organized. We even added extra colors to our pallet. Service was excellent, from our artist to the bartender. Loved the patience of our instructors as well. We were there to celebrate a birthday and she got a free keepsake painting. Metered (app) parking on the streets or in the parking structure on Delacey.

Had such a fun time at this painting class! The instructor was super interactive and gave really clear, step-by-step instructions that made it easy to follow along -- even for beginners. There was also another staff member walking around to offer extra help, give tips, and refill paint without us even having to ask, which made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. Whether you're going on a cute date or planning a creative hangout with friends, this is such a great idea. We left with our own masterpieces and lots of laughs. Definitely recommend!

My favorite wine and paint place. I always get felice? It's white wine and it's super sweet. Instructions were clear but still doesn't make sense how the teachers drawing comes out 10000x better than what I always draw even after following step by step. Very fun seeing how my friends paint and it's also a good date spot. They have underground parking at the dayton.

This was such an awesome experience with friends and family. The vibe was perfect and the just the right amount of people for a Wednesday night. The owner was really nice and the artist was very clear with instructions. Do not show up late or you will have to catch up on your own. We're definitely coming back it was so much fun! We parked a block away in a public parking lot and payed under $5.

This is a great place to do a team activity or group event. I set one up for my work team and Freddy was really kind and helpful throughout the process. They were very accommodating with my requests such as time and last minute canceled guest. It was so fun and it is great for any beginner.

If you're looking for a unique date idea this is definitely the spot for you. The class is super fun and the drinks are actually really affordable. The reason why the class is so fun is because the instructor is personable and really does an amazing job guiding you through the process of how to paint an amazing picture. You really don't think you can do it and by the end of the class you actually have a solid painting done. The drinks are all affordable too and they're pretty good as well. Definitely one of the best date nights we've had!

My gf and I had a great time!

Pinot's Palette is a great studio for your next date idea! I took my gf here for our second paint date. Our first experience at a different studio was decent, but nothing like the instruction and vibes here at Pinot's Palette! Our instructor was clear and detailed, allowing us to follow along with ease. Upon signing up I was a bit skeptical knowing the class would be about two and a half hours, but once I started working I was so into it that by the end I was asking for more time. My gf and I had a great time, and I surprised myself with the end product of my painting. I am by no means a painter so I give credit to the great instruction. Great vibes and art piece to take home and put up on the wall!

OMGGG!!!! Def a 10/10 experience The instructor was such a sweetheart and guiding myself and the class reassuring us that it's okay to make mistakes and to just focus on being creative with the brush ahahah And the fact that I could sip on some wine made the experience a lot better and much more fun. Everyone should try this place out. Def recommend!

Ask the Community - Pinot's Palette

First time thinking of going here Saturday Jan 7 Do They Have FOOD & DRINKS?

They serve wine, beer, & bottled water. They don't have food but chips are available for purchase.

Can children go, they would just be drawing no drinking?

Unfortunately, all participants have to be 21 and older. They always check IDs. So I would say it's safe to say no.

    Is parking free?

There is a parking structure on Dayton, the street behind Pinots Palette. There is 2 hour free parking.

What does the class include when I buy my ticket?

You get all the materials to paint and step by step instruction. Canvas, brushes, paint, and an apron. You take your painting home but the supplies stay. :) Wine, Beer, or soft drinks are available for purchase at the bar.

Gradually my son would come home sad and upset. At first, I brushed off his complaints as maybe he just had a random rough day. Today, I picked up my son and Ms. Billy complained about his projects and all kinds of stuff right in front of my son. My son came to the car crying feeling terrible about his artwork. I asked him several questions about what happened as I didn't want to make any rash judgements about the teacher. He explained that he felt that Ms. Billie was being mean to him and that he was really struggling with clay (it's a new skill for him). I asked if she helps him with his clay a little extra since he's obviously struggling more than the rest of the more experienced students (I'd think she'd spend a little extra time with him). He said no - she was drinking tea and when she came back he had made a snail project where its tongue broke off and couldn't put it back on. He said he destroyed it and my son said she made another mean comment to him: "ohh so you're breaking stuff, instead of making stuff". He was struggling to put on the tongue, which you didn't help him with. Ms. Billy told me it was Gary the snail which didn't go with the CA theme they're working on. Ok. My question is: how is one of your struggling students able to make an entire snail project without you noticing until he's that far along with it? Then, the tongue falls ogf of it, you make a comment to him about it being wrong, he destroys it, you make another comment to him about him about breaking things instead of making things. Ok. If she's going to drink tea instead of helping struggling students then she shouldn't be surprised about them struggling. He said she was helping the other students - not him so much. He also said he got up to grab a toothpick, and she said to him "you're disrupting the entire class" and he was embarrassed that all the kids stared at him. He wasn't being defiant but she keeps treating him as if he is. My son said he was really surprised at how mean Ms. Billy was treating him - he genuinely didn't know he was doing anything wrong, She did sound agitated when she was complaining to me about my son. I know my son - he's not a bad kid and he's super kind. I'm not just saying that because he's my son. He truly is. I'm the type of person that takes criticism well and I'm happy to help correct behavior when necessary. In this case, I really feel that Ms. Billy is not spending enough time with struggling students - in my sons case not understanding instructions according to her. I didn't appreciate her putting my son down in front of both my husband and I. Ms. Billy made it sound as if my son was being defiant - I can assure you my son is not defiant - he genuinely is just having a hard time with the project! He's asking for help from his teacher in his own 8 year old way. He just turned 8 by the way. Mrs. Elizabeth in the front is amazing on the other hand! Very helpful and kind lady.

Truly an inspiring place where children come to explore and create their own art. So thankful to have found this studio! *also editing my review to add that I specialize in a field of child development & communication; I respectfully disagree with the parents below who claim this place is merely a bunch of babysitters or that their children didn't learn anything during their time here. I've been so impressed the way the educators here scaffold the summer camp in a way that the older kids are making Claymation videos or sewing stuffies alongside the younger ones. No one is so frustrated that they can't participate and at the same time these kids are challenged!! My children had increases in their artistic abilities, social skills, vocabulary, fine motor skills, ability to use technology to create art, and I would go so far as to say even their overall self esteem, as the final art show is truly a special time for families to come together and celebrate what these children have created with the guidance of some awesome instructors. Sorry, but I could go on! The only time I've ever seen the tv on at Art/Work/Place was during the gorgeous, hilarious, magical Claymation Camp viewing party a year ago and the time the Ninja Turtles animators used it to show us some clips from a movie they made. Again, context matters.... Let your kids give them a try and decide for yourself :)

I was so impressed to see my little one sewing away on the machine with her dad next to her and the older kids jump right in. Many of them made 2-3 little pillows, even though they had never sewn before! Debbie's instruction is clear, easy to follow, and she has a great deal of patience while sharing how to create these masterpieces. It was really nice having mochi ice cream in the middle table area too- Debbie had everything needed for a party in case things were forgotten. The little fridge helped too! It was very reasonably priced and an unforgettable experience for the kids. We hope Meraki will be on this cute corner for many years to come!
