Pinocchio's is a delicious Italian restaurant, this is the first time I have been into their new location - we took a group from work and introduced our new boss to another local restaurant. And he will be back for sure. We were celebrating a few promotions and ordered a variety of different foods including their Monthly special Mac N Cheese, Cricket, Mikey's, Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, & the McLean sandwich. Everything was delicious and my boss has decided he would like to make this a more frequent spot for our business lunches. Our server Cat was very on top of things, she ensured that our drinks were never empty, and that we had extra napkins before our meals came out. The new restaurant has a large dining room and so many amazing Pinocchio themed decorations lining the walls along with old photos and drawings of the area. Even at 1pm the restaurant was packed and we had a short wait for our table of 7 to be seated.

We had a small wait but it was worth it! We ordered the charcuterie board for my grandson and he loved it. We also had the New York Grinder and the Pinocchio. All delicious. Make sure to upgrade the bread for the sourdough. Chefs kiss for that one. Tried the Italian beer and loved it. Service was fast and our waitress was so kind and was so attentive. The place is full of nice photos of the old Italian Pinocchio to the new and some other Italian memorabilia. The place is clean and nice seating. Highly recommend!

Brought a family friend here for a birthday dinner and there were four of us total. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Pesto Pasta with chicken. I liked it but it needed some oomph to it. I kept having to add parmesan and salt. I tried the lasagna, and it was good. My wife and her friend had the Pasta Bolognese. They really enjoyed their food. They brought out the birthday girl a tiramisu that was on the house. Really nice touch. Place is clean and the air conditioner works great.

Their *Cheese Tortellini* with Alfredo and added chicken. Perfection!!! Every entree else comes with a piece of garlic bread.

Everytime I am up here I have been stopping by to get their pasta for years! My mom says they also have delicious sandwiches but I have yet to try those as my go to is the PASTA. Hits everytime. When I pick up an order the girl at the front helping me is an absolute sweetheart the staff are all so very nice, I'm assuming it's family owned? The vibe is cute there are a bunch of little adorable Pinocchio statues in the front while you're waiting on a table or an order to go and it's pretty busy for the most part. If you like Italian THIS place is the spot!!!

Great Atmosphere! Perfect for a Disney lover . walk through the restaurant and be amazed at all the decor & collectibles ! Food was great. Service good.

    Their wines and beer

100/10 perfection. We bought a place in Sonora almost a year ago and ever since we've always talked about going to pinocchios! Today we finally stopped in. SO GOOD. The minestrone was amazing. I got a cup but I definitely would get a bowl next time! Their Chardonnay is local and so good. The bolognese pasta was perfect for my super picky husband. And my Mcclean sandwich was HUGE and tasty!!! I took more than half of it home so that's how you know the portions here are MORE than generous. Our sever darrien (I think that was her name according to the receipt) was very welcoming friendly and all the good things! And her eyebrows and makeup are on point too :) we loved our time here, we will be back soon! Thank you guys !!

what a creative menu!…read more I was hungry for a philly cheese, and the "philly cheese please" hit the spot. Soft tender slices of ribeye, paired with grilled onions, grilled red and green bell peppers and a helping of black pepper was great. No sauce to make it messy and paired with garlic truffle fried was fantastic. Since these were shoe string cut, they were crispy and very crunchy. My SO ordred the fondue burger, and this was delicious as well. Warning the hot cheese will burn you, and hot cheese oil. But worth the burn as this smother cheese on a ciabatta bun was great. This was paired with sweet potato fries. These thick cut sweet potatoe fries are only sprinkled with sea salt, they retained the soft and moist texture just prefect. One order of a passion fruit lemonade, was a great balance of sweet and tart, and came in a very large glass. Pleanty of ice to keep it chill and slowly sip through out the meal. The meal a tad heavier than I thought, I finished my philly cheese, but not the fries (a first) The room is very high ceiling and all these great art works, posters and items on all the walls. TV screen with sports and sounds like sattelite radio running above. Service was very prompt and friendly. They explained the menu and clarified on some points. The specials sounds great, but we opted for a lighter dinner and went for sandwiches and burgers.

Their happy hour is DAILY from 14:00-16:00. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. For our cocktails, my friend went with the Huckleberry lemonade, while I went with the pomegranate whiskey sour. She thoroughly enjoyed her cocktail, and so did I. At that price point, I didn't expect much, but it was a solid cocktail, although not as strong as what I'd normally get elsewhere. The clam chowder sounded really good, and I couldn't help myself, so I ordered it. My friend is not a fan of seafood, so the chowder was all for me. The crostini was very nicely toasted and I loved dipping it into the chowder. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the clam chowder. It was packed with a ton of clams, and was perfectly hearty without being heavy. We opted to share the fallen apple pizza, which was the perfect choice. The dough was pillowy and light, and the toppings delicious. I would have liked more apple slices, as it didn't seem like they were very prominent, and for the balsamic drizzle to be more uniform, but overall it was a solid pizza. I took leftover pizza home, and my husband enjoyed it for dinner. We heated it up in the air fryer and that was the way to go. While it was a little noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to a large group seated next to us, we still had a good experience, and the booth seating was comfy. I would love to bring my husband back to try more happy hour menu items next time we visit Sonora! The price point is seriously hard to beat, and Emberz is a solid spot for hanging out and having a good time.

However, it was sooooo slow. From the moment we were seated it probably took about 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. Then it took the same before our drinks were brought and they finally took our order. Nearly 1 hour after we sat some of our pizza finally came. The calzone took an extra 15 minutes. During the wait we did not get an update or any notice from the one or two staff members. When the food eventually came out it was still missing things. When we placed the order we asked for marinara and ranch. Neither came out with the pizza and we had to ask 4 times before it was finally brought to our table. Not to mention, we only asked for 1 marinara and they brought 2 that were half full and charged us for 2.... Some of the pizza options were fun and creative but the service and speed was a huge letdown. However, I Visited on Mother's Day with my daughter and sister and had a completely different experience. I have a gluten allergy, one daughter has gluten sensitivity, and my other daughter has celiac disease. We informed our waitress that we needed gluten-free options and were told they were out of gluten-free buns but had gluten-free sourdough. After double-checking, the chef confirmed it was gluten-free. Something didn't seem right, so we asked to see the packaging. Wheat was listed as an ingredient. Thankfully, we caught the mistake before eating it. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, two of the gluten-free meals were still served with gluten-containing items, including a flour tortilla and the same bread we'd already identified as not gluten-free. The food itself was actually delicious, and I wish I could leave a more positive review based on that alone. However, for anyone with celiac disease, a gluten allergy, or a serious gluten sensitivity, accurate ingredient information is not optional--it's a health and safety issue. The repeated errors from both the kitchen and serving staff were extremely disappointing and left me with little confidence in their ability to safely accommodate gluten-free guests.

An absolute must-visit on Washington Street in Sonora!…read more The Local Collective is exactly what its name represents: a place rooted in genuine care for people, families, and the local community. What stands out immediately is how kind and welcoming the owners are. This is truly a family-run shop, and you can feel the intention behind everything they do. They aren't just stocking shelves, they are thoughtfully sourcing items they would confidently choose for their own family and children. That level of care is rare. We bought a hoodie, hat, and t-shirt for my daughter's birthday, and she has been wearing them every single day since. The quality is incredible! I mean really. These are not cheaply made pieces. You can feel the difference right away in the fabric, the fit, and the durability. What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. It's not just about business. It is about people. They genuinely care about the families who walk through their doors and he went out of his way to offer products that reflect that. They do not jack up the prices but the quality is better than an REI or Sax 5th Avenue. I know good quality and these items are made very well. We also purchased a tumbler for my children, bird house, two stuffed animals, and a few other little things and the quality and make are consistent throughout the store no matter what it is. Having seven children we know good quality items. Unfortunately, it is not an unfamiliar experience to see things break after purchasing. Not here! If you're looking for meaningful, high-quality items and want to support a family that truly puts other families first, this is a place you'll want to keep coming back to and buying from again and again.
