I adore! These donuts are so dang delicious! I picked up a dozen to bring to my team at work and they did not disappoint. Everyone loved them, and so did I! They were so fresh and delicious! The atmosphere here is amazing! It has been here for years but it looks like they just opened inside. So clean and well kept! And they have a Blueberry Fritter that I must try SOON! I've had the traditional Apple and a Raspberry version, but Blueberry?! I bet it is amazing! The staff here is top-notch and so nice as well. They appreciate your business. Doughnuts are one of my absolute weaknesses, so I do my best to avoid them as much as possible lol. That said, when I do allow myself to give into temptation, Pinkbox is my go-to in Vegas. Not only do they have creative flavor combinations and decor, the flavors back it up- it's not just gimmicky. I usually get either the Blow Torch or Gimme S'more, but was in the mood to try something new today. I did get a Gimme S'more that I split with my fiance, but my doughnut this time was the Don't be Salty. Oh My Goodness, this is by far the best doughnut I've had in my life! I'm not kidding, it was that good. Up until this point, the Voodoo Doll from Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland had been the undisputed champ, but it was dethroned by this one. First, the combination of sweet and salty is just addictive. Each bite was like a flavor bomb that kept me going back for more. The caramel cheesecake filling was so creamy and sweet, but the salt cut through it perfectly to where it wasn't overly sweet. My only "negative" was that the lady who helped us was a little rude and impatient as we were picking out our doughnuts. It wasn't busy and working at a place like this with some many varieties, you have to expect that people are going to need a few minutes, especially if they are ordering multiple doughnuts. I went through drive thru and it was very late. When I got to the board, it showed sold out on the doughnuts I wanted so I order something else. When I got to the window, the lady was so nice to check all the racks inside to see if they had my favorite doughnut and they did! So I added that on on. My favorite is called a DoughCro®, a signature hybrid pastry that combines a flaky, buttery croissant with a classic doughnut. And their Dough Cro Nutella is yummy!! If you're in the mood for Doughnuts it is worth the stop. I thought it might be a bit of gimmick, but these were very good. I would get them again next time I am in Vegas. I'm usually not a fan of Pinkbox and their overly sweet, excessively frosted doughnuts, but they're starting to grow on me. This probably isn't a good thing, because my inner fat kid salivates at the idea of a bite of their OG glazed or Oreo cream stuffed Blackjack, LOL. Their themed donuts are a lot of fun, especially if you're a local sports fan. They have Vegas Golden Knights and Raiders sweets for sale, especially during the regular sports season. Every major holiday will have a fun themed item, too! In the past, I've had very poor experiences with Pinkbox, mostly with quality issues. Time after time, I'd be dropping $3 to $4 each for a stale letdown of a doughnut. My best piece of advice to folks in Las Vegas: if you want a Pinkbox doughnut, go to this location and this location ONLY. It's their main bakery, so the pastries are baked fresh here. It's your best chance to get a super soft, super tasty, and super fresh doughnut. Your mileage may vary (and sometimes you'll get a sad doughnut), but I won't go to any other valley location now. Service is usually pretty good (but highly annoying that they still prompt you to leave a tip for simply putting doughnuts into a box...) and fast. This is a very busy location but don't be discouraged if there's a long line: it moves fast. Pinkbox does a lot of things right, especially with the pleasantly pink store décor. I kept seeing ads for this place all over Vegas, I just had to try them out. They are not you average donuts, they have a very large selection of interesting and unique flavored donuts. I know that you all know this is my favorite donut place but now all of the locations are privately owned. They're all different. The customer service is different. The value depends on how much you like donuts if you're if you like convinced if you like them light and airy if you like decorated or boutique donuts or if you want traditional, they have it all. This place has both and everything in between. The pricing is a little complicated. They place their doughnuts into five categories: OG Classic, Good Fellas, Fancy Pancy, DoughCro and Show Offs. It's priced according to which category the doughnut you want falls under. Also, if you buy a certain amount then the doughnuts are cheaper. I purchased a box of four and it came to around $13. I got the Buttermilk Bar, The Blow Torch, Sup Shorty and Mama's Tres Leches. The Buttermilk Bar was a little dry. The other three were pretty good. The Blow Torch is their creme brûlée doughnut. The top is blow torched and has that candy glaze. My favorite of the four was the Sup Shorty. It's a glazed shell stuffed with glazed strawberries and cream. This was amazing. I'm usually a fan and I love ordering these donuts for my husband on holidays as surprise for when he wakes up. This morning I decided to throw in a hot white mocha for myself because I love them and have been ordering them for years. Imagine my surprise when my order shows up and I take a nice big drink of my coffee but all I taste is sweet warm milk. Not a drop of espresso in sight. Disappointing but not the end of the world. I decided to reach out. I was told in the chat that I chose milk and the syrup and when I was in the middle of trying to ask if a mocha included a shot of espresso, she typed, "I can see that you're not responding so I'm ending the chat". He told us his fiancé's favorite is the Sup Shorty so of course we had to get one. This too is my favorite from the dozen that we picked up. We bought a dozen mixed donuts. We tried the Sup Shorty (it's filled with fresh strawberries and cream filling), Purple Rain Glazed Ube Cake (perfect not too sweet), Vegas Cream, Pooh Chocolate Cake filled with Chocolate Buttercream, Chocolate Ol' Fashion, Lil Blue and others. No seating inside but there was a Pinkbox Doughnuts mascot. The employee behind the counter, Zack was very helpful. We immediately notified him of our food allergy. He was very hospitable and we chatted about his experience with family food allergy. So he was very receptive and willing to assist us with anything. There are so many types of doughnuts. Some pretty crazy looking. Of course we got a Pooh donut lol. The Ube donut was pretty good. You could taste the ube and it wasn't overly sweet. I can't think of another shop in town offering so many different options. They have four or five cases FULL of options. Most are over the top, fun flavors. Their holiday donuts are always super fun. The 4th of July line up is my favorite holiday line up. This location is my favorite because they seem to have the largest selection and they have a drive through. So convenient for a mom with littles. Their cold brew is not bad and I love to grab one if I'm already here. My favorite donut is anything with a cake base or whipped cream on top. My toddler has to have a unicorn or birthday donut when we stop here. Those are over the top and super sweet. These donuts are extra and that is definitely reflected in the price. Normally I have a fantastic experience at Pinkbox. It is located across the street from my lash artist so it is customary that I stop at Pinkbox after my lash appointment my favorites are The Blow Torch and Love My PB&J. Today I decided to add in a mini DoughCro to eat walking out the door. The minute I bit into it I was so disappointed. It tasted hard and stale. When I said to the guy working there that that tasted really bad and that it was hard and stale and not good...all he said was, "Sorry" and just stood there looking at me. I'm thinking...hey guy...maybe offer me a replacement as you proceeded to throw the other half of the bite in the trash. It was hard to even swallow the first bite.
