One of the donuts that I was eating was old, dry, and really too hard for me to eat, even though I tried, so I ended up throwing half of it away. Hey! Alright Anthony's. I see you. You are putting out some good donuts. I should know, I've tried a few. I stopped in for breakfast/morning snack a few days ago. I ordered three donuts to be shared. Well, one each for two of us and another to share. We got 1 chocolate and cream (not quite filled), a glazed twist and an apple fritter. Each was quite good. A bit bigger than the average donut. Fluffy and a little chewy. Fresh. Good glaze and a lot of it. Nice chocolate frosting. A heft dollop of tasty cream. A thick and well cooked apple fritter. Not too dark like a lot tend to be. Could have used a little more apple maybe but it was there. I really rather liked the donuts from Anthony's. Its probably a good thing I don't live near by. I'd be heavier in the waist and lighter in the bank if I did. Good donuts made and served by good staff. The neighborhood should be proud to support their local mom and pop style shop. read more

It's a cool local donut shop here on the Eastside super friendly the place is very neat and well kept. They even have breakfast burritos if you're in the mood for that. They also have a sitting area if you want to chill and eat your food. Donut Tyme and Anthony's are my favorites on the Eastside. read more

My husband went in to get donuts today and I was on the phone with him, (on the Bluetooth excited to be a part of the 'donut choosing process', of course!) I heard the employee greet my husband, and listened as they engaged in friendly banter. We got 4 filled donuts: apple, cream, raspberry and blueberry. Blueberry??! We were excited to try that! The employee told my husband that blueberry is HIS favorite! The price for our four donuts was absolutely reasonable and cheaper than we expected. And the actual eating part of the review: delicious! Each donut was light, tasty and with awesome filling. All four donuts were just the right level of sweet and really hit the spot. I'm not sure if all the good reviews are from people who don't know what a good bagel and or doughnut are supposed to taste like, or if this yelp page has been given the friends and family treatment. The food here, is not good. The plain bagel sandwich was tiny, and had no chew whatsoever. It was a soggy mess. The "everything" bagel sandwich was anything BUT everything. Had zero everything flavor, and was just meh. The doughnuts were pathetic. The old fashioned doughnut was chewy, and soft. Old fashioned are supposed to be crispy, and dense.. These? Not so much. The "Bavarian crème" was vanilla pudding, and you won't convince me otherwise. All I'm saying is.. If you're going to put doughnuts in the business name, maybe you should be good at making doughnuts. You can get a better doughnut from Smiths.. Customer service is a joke.. Rushing you from the minute you walk in the door. Asking "how many" doughnuts.. Dude, I don't know! Let me look over your product, and THEN I'll decide. I'd say move on to the next shop if you want a decent bagel, or doughnut.. For all my eastside people or if you just like to travel around town and try out new spots.....Anthony's Donuts has been one of my favorite hidden gems for many many years! They always have a great fresh variety of tasty donuts from plain to filled with delicious Bavarian crème. I remember my step dad going to Anthony's(may have had a different name and owners back then) in the 80s to pick up Sunday morning treats....the recipes still taste the same and for many years I continued that tradition with my family. Now I will stop every so often and pick up 2 dozen for my co-workers(I'm nice like that) and they always rave about how awesome they are. I know people love those big fancy expensive donuts but, if you're ever in need of a sweet reasonably price donut.....ANTHONY'S is the way to go! Tucked away behind 7-11 in a larger shopping center with ample parking, right off of Nellis Blvd, you can't miss the Big pics of Donuts in the windows! Once I walked in the smell was amazing. The shop is small with a few tables to sit and eat , but the variety is large with many options for breakfast. They have sandwiches you can choose from as well. Breakfast sandwiches with egg cheese and meats on a Bagel or Croissant. They have muffins, all of there amazing donuts, as well as danishes. I loved that they make fresh juices there if your not a coffee or a tea drinker. I ordered a dozen donuts mixed. My husband and family loved them. So fresh, the dough was so pillowy. Stopped by the other morning before visiting my grandparents to grab a bite and a coffee. Tucked next to the social services building is Anthony's Donuts. Upon entering I was impressed by how clean this place is, I'm not knocking any other place it just was my first reaction. I was greeted quickly and ordered my food. The gentleman was very polite and had my order promptly. Now unfortunately I didn't get any donuts on this visit because I was secretly eating before going to my grandmas but I will definitely come back and pick some up.
