Get there early before the popular ones are all gone! I came in around noon and most of the popular ones were already gone. I stopped by for an afternoon treat while working in the area. Cute small donut shop that had a few tables towards the back. Service was friendly and quick. Enjoyed my afternoon treats! read more

Disappointed by the lackluster interaction with the individual working. Not welcoming, felt like we were a burden being there. It's ok, won't be back. Have it 2-stars because the donuts were standard. Nothing to go out of your way for. Bathroom didn't have soap. Makes you wonder what the employees wash their hands with? So that's gross. read more

I've seen this donut shop in the neighborhood so today I made it a point to get there first thing in this morning. I'm a glazed donut kinda guy so I got their glazed. I wanted to try something different so I got a strawberry fritter. The glazed donut was very yummy. The fritter was good, crunchy edges but I didn't taste strawberry which for me I was okay with. Customer service was very pleasant. read more

This was my first time here and I called Poppy's last Thursday over the phone and I spoke with Nayeli. Nayeli was professional, kind, and polite over the phone and she took my order and payment over the phone. The donuts are delicious and the physicians loved it! This place is so cute and quaint and for the customer service I received over the phone was 10 out of 10! In person, Nayeli displayed the same courtesy. Thank you. read more

Review of 09/01 I drove and met up with friends for coffee and breakfast bagels about 10miles from my side of town. .after reading all the good reviews figured it was worth a try. When we arrived there was one worker with a long line.. It was 11am and first thing the worker said was no drip coffee and no bagel sandwiches left. We ordered Americano coffees which weren't bad. There was 3 of us. Felt bad for the one worker but who runs out of coffee and bagels in the morning ? Bad business practice and then your tipping on top? Doubtful we would return there's better places that cost the same. We were very disappointed. read more

I wanted some "regular old" donuts. None of that fancy stuff with cereal or bacon or any of that stuff. Saw this place on social media so decided to try it out. Cute little donut shop nestled in a small shopping center. They had exactly what I was looking for. Glazed twists, sugar twists, maple & chocolate bars. White & chocolate sprinkled. Jackpot. I arrived around 5:45am and they were out of lemon filled, very early to be out of any options. While standing in line, I see on the order board that you get 20% off a dozen. Great! I ended up getting a dozen plus 2 extra, 14 total. I was shocked, to see that my total was $29 plus change. I asked the cashier if that was with the 20% discount. He said yes. Not sure if it's me being out of touch with the cost of donuts, but that seemed very high to me. I usually pay around $20-22 at Krispy Kreme. The donuts were good, I just don't believe $29 for 14 donuts good. I may be back for one or two donuts to scratch my itch when I'm feeling like donuts again, but I will not spend that much on a dozen again. read more

Stopped here when they opened at 6AM on our drive to Grand Canyon. Perfect breakfast and donut holes for snacking. I usually get sugar or glazed donuts but I had to try the blueberry old fashioned and the pumpkin spice. Both were so good. They had lots I wanted to try but I can only west so many donuts. Friendly quick service. Lots of parking. read more

Although I got shamed for coming in to only buy one donut, I understand the cashiers curiosity as to why I only came in for a single one since they have such a vast variety. I haven't been to this place in a few years since before they had an unfortunate fire. But I like the new update and the donuts are still as spectacular as I remember. The chocolate glazed donut with toasted peanuts crumbled on top is a must try. It's so simple yet so fluffy not overpoweringly sweet and it holds true character to everything donuts are supposed to be. You can pre order half a dozen st parties themed donuts for $21 read more

Was craving sugar! Lol I had been wanting to try Poppy's Donuts too! I went in later in the day which is probably the worst time because donuts aren't super fresh but they had a decent selection available. I got a maple bar, chocolate glazed and a Biscoff donut. I also got a kolachi. The donuts were good, I do think the specialty donut, Biscoff, I felt was a maple donut with the cookies added to the top of it but it was good. The kolachi was a lot of bread to me but the sausage was good. It's a super cute place and you can eat inside there which is cool. The service was great, kind cashier and quick service. read more

I love their donuts always great. I've been coming here for a while and there's a young girl with black hair who has been working mornings. She consistently has an attitude and doesn't acknowledge when you walk through the door. This morning I walked in there were no other customers and she was explaining something to a young male worker. I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me. A simple, well be there in a minute would have worked but they continued their covo. Another time she was arguing with an older male worker. I miss interacting with the twins. read more

I have my wonderful Yelp friend, Renee N., to thank for sharing this lovely and delicious small business with me. Being a fan of donuts, I was very excited to give Poppy's Donuts a try. Even arriving in the last hour before their closing, there was a great selection of donuts and pastries. I also received the friendliest customer service from the wonderful Summer. I am a sucker for donut classics, and let me tell you, it's been difficult to find French crullers, chocolate frosted chocolate cake donuts with nuts, and a favorite of the hubby's, blueberry cake donuts. Well, hallelujah Poppy's has them and they are DELICIOUS! To quote the hubby, "That's a top notch blueberry, right there!" Poppy's Donuts has absolutely nailed the texture of cake donuts. Poppy's also carries ham and cheese crossaints and kolaches! Like many donut shops, arrive earlier for the best selection. I am so happy to now know another excellent (and classic) donut shop to visit in Vegas. (Thanks for the recommendation, Renee!) read more

Happy National Donut Day! Just happened upon Poppy's Donuts on Donut Day! They've expanded the location and it is big and beautiful! Wow! It's been 10 years since I updated this review. Really nothing has changed in terms of how I feel about this donut shop. Still my favorite in the city. The good news is that they have expanded into a much larger space and now provide seating to sit and enjoy your donuts and drinks. They also offer some cute merchandise for purchase and they have added some additional treats like kolaches. I love this polish version of a hotdog! So tasty with some mustard and served warm of course. A couple of weeks ago they hosted a fun Father's Day event where you could come in to purchase a dozen donuts for the price of a half dozen donuts. We made sure to get in on this great offer. Whenever I find myself in the area, I gotta stop here and get my donut fix! Long live Poppy's Donuts! read more

Who doesn't love donuts? Something about a good donut shop always makes me excited and I was happy to find this one. I went in at around 10 AM and there were a few people in there as well so this place getting busy. Upon walking in, I wasn't immediately greeted, but that's OK. They have a pretty standard selection of donuts which include raised, cakes, and croissant style. A standard donut is $2 and a specialty is $3.50. Pricing isn't bad but also not great. I will say the two donuts that I got were pretty fresh. I was very satisfied with the sprinkle cake doughnut. The blueberry was good, but not the best blueberry donut I've had. The service was pretty standard and nothing extraordinary. The girl had just asked me what I wanted and she backed it up for me and that was that. Hey do you also have a good variety of coffee and it didn't look too bad, but I did not end up getting anything. The inside is clean and there are a few tables available to sit. This is located in a smaller shopping center, but there is plenty of parking available. If I do come to the side of town, I'd probably pop back in and get me a donut. My review is as follows: - Food: 4.5/5 - Service: 2.5/5 - Ambiance: 5/5 read more

I'm just a simple man who occasionally enjoys some fluffy donuts, and Poppy's Donuts does just that. I've been to Poppy's Donuts on a few occasions and have enjoyed every single donut I've eaten. I took my wife here a few weeks back on a Sunday morning and ordered a chocolate frosted donut and a glaze donut and both of them were exactly what I wanted. The donuts here are on the thick side but not in an overly cakey way, they are light, easy to eat, and just really tasty. Overall, Poppy's Donuts is a simple, but delicious donut shop that will treat you well. The food is good, the people are friendly, and the service is fast. Best donut shop in Las Vegas! Great donuts and now they have dirty sodas! Just pick out a can of soda from the fridge and they'll add your flavor choice and a splash of half and half. Sooo good. I'm so used to getting the shakedown whenever I go to a certain large coffee chain that I'm shocked at how inexpensive everything is at Poppy's.
