I had friends raving about their experiences at Pings and especially how good the food was, adding the detail that the portion sizes are huge....I'll say the portion size comment is correct, but the rest is really quite subjective and seems to vary quite a bit from dish to dish. I got the Chicken Fried rice and the portion was gigantic; definitely enough for more than one meal! That aspect was great, but the food quality was just... meh. Egg rolls-yummy topped off by their plum sauce Rice- cooked perfect it's on the plain side I doctored it up a bit when I got home and added peas carrots Wonton soup- was good has some kale in it . Yes, there are a few small uncomfortable tables, but no servers. Yes, they will bring your carry out order to your table. But eating in here is hardly what you would call "dining." Yes, the food was good. I'd do take-out again if I lived closer. But only for carry-out. Don't plan on dining in a "dining room" with servers bringing you hot tea in a china cup. The steak did not taste like steak IMO. I usually order the Almond Chicken and never, ever had an issue. My bf ordered the Hot and Sour Soup.
