    Sesame Chicken with extra vegetables.
    Bella B.

Take out only. Tue-Fri 11-830; Sat 12-11pm; Sun 12-8pm; closed Mon. Tasty Sesame Chicken dinner combo; comes with fried rice and eggroll; $2 upcharge for extra vegetables; $18+change total. Fried rice was plain; lacked flavor and moisture; eggroll was good; crunchy, flavorful filling. Meat is halal. Nice, quick service. Busy. Looked messy behind desk. Seemed overpriced. Prefer Ping's on Auburn Road.

I remember many years ago, this family had a restaurant in Oxford; Golden Dragon. I use to go when visiting friends in that area. Some of my favorite Chinese food in the state of Michigan. I heard they re opened a new restaurant under a new name. So when I traveled home I made a point to drive that way to get some of the locals best. Located in this big plaza while heading north it was tough to see signage. But GPS led me so fortunately I knew where to look. Plenty of parking outside so no issue in the lot. Few people waiting for carry out, was greeted with a warm welcome when entering. They were busy so I let em know I was in no rush. Menus so big and I was by myself so i ordered more than I needed but I wanted to try more than one thing. It's a bad habit but I do it often. A favorite of mine not found where I live now in Florida; is the Almond Boneless Chicken dish. I ordered that combo style which came with fried rice and egg roll. Crab Ragoon, pot stickers & golden bricks for dessert. Plenty if room to dine in if you have the time, I went carry out and rushed back home which was a 30min drive. The food still held well, and the chicken was still crispy. 100% would have been even better there but I didn't have the time. Both apps were held well and tasted great. The pot stickers sauce was spicy which was perfect. As always the Lam family was working and saw both husband & wife working together and serving plenty of patrons. Always good to see them healthy and working hard. Next time in Michigan will stop by again. Great food, family owned awesome hospitality.

Honestly, for Chinese takeout it doesn't really get much better! You can tell that this place is run by a family that cares about the quality of the food. Most Chinese places try to go for cheap and fast food but forget about the quality. Somehow this place has managed to keep the speed quick and the price low while still pumping out very delicious, well made Chinese food. I loved their Chinese donut desert and the almond chicken wasn't too breaded or fried. I took one of my carry out boxes over to my friends house by accident... I never got that back This seriously has to be one of the most underrated Chinese food places in the area. I will definitely be coming back!

Lam Taste has the highest prices I have ever seen at a Chinese carryout restaurant. They have large portions, but not the best tasting food around. The chicken fried rice ($14) was one of the better in the area. The almond boneless chicken ($17) was pretty good. The gravy color was a little more yellow than I'm used to but the flavor was there. The sweet and sour chicken ($16) was just okay. The sweet and sour sauce was watery with a weird flavor.

ordered late night from doordash. I was super happy to see a Chinese option open so late. I ordered the broccoli chicken that was $16.99 and a small wonton soup that was $5.99. The portion size was pretty big. My wonton soup was good different then most , it had a good amount of veggies in it , defiantly worth the price. The broccoli chicken however came with plain white rice and nothing more. On the menu you it simply says broccoli chicken so you can only assume you will get what most Chinese reasturants give and that is fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken wasn't bad however it wasn't real good either. The sauce was like water and the broccoli was hardly cooked. Had the broccoli been cooked more it could have really helped since they have such a nice portion. after a few bites I tossed it. I may give this place a second chance due to there being some great positives however I'll keep in mind the white rice situation and ask for fried.

My husband and I were so excited to find Lam Taste when it opened a few months ago! We've ordered twice, and loved it both times! The Singapore Chicken is awesome -light curry flavor. My husband had the General Tso's chicken and we both declared it the best we'd ever had -lightly crunchy and not too spicy. We've also tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken, good but standard. The Almond Chicken doesn't boast any bold flavors but was a delicious cut of chicken. The egg rolls are good, and the fried rice is basic but goes well with the entrees. We've done carry out both times, as it doesn't seem like there is space to dine in (only 2 tables?) The attached pictures are of the almond chicken and General Tso's, but only half the amount in each container because we couldn't wait to dig in! The two combo plates were enough for 2 meals for us both!

Finally, REAL CHINESE FOOD! You will not be disappointed. They cook everything fresh, even the soup. Nothing is sitting under warmers. The egg rolls are amazing (I want one just thinking about them). Call ahead, walk-in or order delivery via restaurant connection.

Found a gem this past Saturday. The food is straight fire. The owner and staff are great. The owner and I talked for a few minutes and he suggested mixing Asian mustard with the plum sauce which was crack lol. I will be back soon

Gai Kow - Flavor was very weak. Would not order again.

OMG BECKY....you want some awesome Indian food? RUN!!! Derrick and I ate there and were delighted…read more We ordered black pepper chicken, vegetable hakka noodles, vegetable momo and garlic naan. It made my taste buds sing with a joy only Indian food can provide. I have eaten plenty of Indian food and this place is the real deal. I loved the black pepper chicken and the hakka was probably the best I have ever had. The smoke from the hot wok was captured right into the noodles. Incredible. Very clean and excellent service. I can't wait to try the buffet that is offered on Sunday. Please trust me on this one.

Food: garlic naan and butter chicken were ok, not the best or worst I've had. Chicken 65 was ok,…read morethe fish was not good- spices on there did not make me want more. Service: if I was basing the review off of service it would be a one star. Because not only was it slow, it almost felt non existent. I came here with my parents and we would've ordered more if we could get a server to our table. It's not even that big of a place, but the servers hung out by the reception area and weren't even looking up. We had to wait a while for drinks, then wait another while to order. There are a ton of other Indian restaurants that are so much more attentive, even if it's crowded, which this place was not. Ambiance: feels like they tried to be upscale, unnecessary in my opinion. Just serve good food and make sure your servers are paying attention and that's more than enough. It's not a spot I would come back to.

We have been here two times now- both times celebrating our anniversary. We live in Monroe, so…read morecoming all the way here is definitely a journey, but worth it in our opinion! I'd like to take a minute and reflect on both times- the good and the not-so-good. First visit: Aug of 2025. The good: We felt very pleased with the service, we felt like our waiter and the meat guys (lol do they have a special name?) were very friendly and knowledgeable. The market was DELICIOUS. We both loved the salads, and most of the other items. I loved the little cheese breads they gave you at the start of the experience. The drinks were absolutely delicious- my husband got the bourbon drink and I got the Yellowbird. Our waiter asked us if we were celebrating anything right away, so we felt like they understood the importance of us having an enjoyable and pleasurable experience. They gave us a complimentary cheesecake for dessert with a gorgeous and thoughtful plate that said "Happt Anniversary." They truly helped us feel special and celebrated on our first wedding anniversary. The not-so-great: When we first had arrived, we did let the host know we had a reservation. We ended up having to wait a little bit until we were finally sat. Also, my husband felt like he was getting more over-done meat rather than medium rare. But, overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and clearly, since we decided to come back again for our 2nd wedding anniversary! Aug 2026: The good: The drinks were great again, the market was delicious again. The meat bringers (lol) were bringing around different items this time besides meat and OMG! The grilled pineapple was AMAZING!! And the cheese and honey was TO DIE FOR! Seriously the best parts of the meal was the market, the pineapple, the filet mignon, and the cheese and honey. The not-so-good: We arrived on time for our reservation, maybe 5 minutes early, and we had to stand around and wait in the crowded lobby for about 15 minutes. It was kind of a long time to wait around when you had a reservation, but not a huge deal. The filet mignon came around only twice, and the second time we had to try to ask someone if we could have more of it. That and the picanha are really the only good meats... Its just frustrating that the sausage, top sirloin, and chicken wings were coming around 10 times but the filet mignon rarely ever came around. The picanha probably came around only two times too. I definitely would not spend more money to get the most expensive all you can eat experience- considering you rarely get your preferred choice of meat. Also, the manager I believe came around and asked how everything was, and we told her it was great which it was, she then asked us if we wanted to see a certain meat. I told her actually yes- we want filet mignon we only got offered it once. She asked what temperature we wanted it and we told her medium rare please. And then she went over to the next table near us and just stood there chatting with them for literally like 30 minutes (they spoke the same language so they clearly either knew each other, or had some connections which is FINE, but then why ask us what we wanted...) I also want to speak on our server. He was young, I think his name was Tristan. He was nice, but not very friendly or welcoming and I had my water go unfilled for quite some time. I also asked him if he could grab that honey and cheese guy again (which I'm sure that's an annoying request) but he was just like "oh he'll be coming back around again." Like lol ok... He didn't ask us if we were celebrating anything (we were) until the very end of the meal after he asked us if we wanted the dessert menu. He said this "Would you like the dessert menu?" I hesitated because I did want the cheesecake but was super full, and that's when he said are you celebrating anything and I said yes it is our anniversary, and he said we get a free dessert. He came back with the dessert menu and I saw the cheesecake brûlée but I just wanted a plain cheesecake like I had the year prior. He told me they have one (I didn't see it on the menu- red flag) but I ordered one to go. Obviously when you dont get a dessert for there, you don't get the pretty happy anniversary plate, but I wasn't expecting to get slopped down a plastic bag with a tiny sliver of... you guessed it... brûlée cheesecake. I was disappointed but didn't say anything since it was free. Overall, I would recommend coming here, despite some minor challenges. However, it is not cheap, so I think when something is very costly, and people aren't 100% satisfied with either the quality/quantity/frequency of offerings, then it gets disappointing. Also- I wanted to mention weirdly my Yellowbird last year came with a gorgeous Aloe leaf as a garnish and this year my garnish was a curled lime skin and two black straws... lol so Idk what happened there. Maybe I didn't get the same drink! Who knows. We do plan on coming back for the next anniversary next August.
