So glad PF Changs brought back the sauce trio - I use the hot mustard on a lot of things, including a small dollop in the hot & sour soup. Overall, the food was very good. We ordered steamed shrimp dumplings, crispy honey shrimp and orange chicken. My only concern was that the food was not piping hot- which in my opinion it should have been given it was not very busy (we had an early dinner). It was not bad enough to send back but I would have appreciated it if the food was hotter. read more

I've been going to PF Chang's for years now ever since I found they have a gluten free menu. The last few times have been so incredibly disappointing including tonight. It wasn't crazy busy but I know our server had a few tables. We waited about 10+ minutes for our drinks to the point that I walked up to the bar to grab our own. It was 95 degrees outside and we were really in need of something to drink. Our food (2 kids meals and a gf meal) were eventually served. I requested extra sauce on the side and an extra kid meal to split. No sauce and it seemed like the 3rd kid meal wasn't entered as it was served after we were done. My meal (spicy Chang's chicken full size) was meager at best. I am used to taking some food home but finished it all. I'm thinking the portions are now also reduced yet not the prices. The kids meal seemed to have more good than my $20 dish. We had to ask for refill on our waters and flag the server down. Why though? Lastly, the bill came and no fortune cookies. In the grand scheme of things ids no big deal I guess but when we go frequently and this seems to be a regular occurrence, it makes me not want to go back and support. I still tipped +20% but I know I should not have. I just feel bad not tipping. Further, that server was also not new, seem them several times there. P.F. Chang's, get your affairs in order. I usually order delivery through the P.F. Chang's app, and most of the time it's easy and straightforward. This time, though, there was a mix-up with the Uber driver. It turned into one of those confusing double-order situations -- my food was delivered to the wrong place, and someone else's order showed up to me. Since I was at work and couldn't leave, I called the restaurant hoping they could send it back out. The manager walked me through my options: reorder and get refunded, come in for a replacement, or request a refund through Uber and then return later. I had already paid delivery fees and a tip, so placing another order wasn't ideal. After talking it through, he agreed to handle the refund and gave me the rewards contact info so I could recover my Chang's Cash, which I appreciated. The Uber driver actually came back and returned my food unopened, which I genuinely thought was noble. He was apologetic and respectful, and I appreciated the effort to make it right. I'll still continue using the app because it's convenient and reliable. I just think there's an opportunity to strengthen how delivery issues are handled when third-party services are involved. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't ignored either -- and that balance is important. read more

This plate hit for me every time. I do not know how many times I have to say I miss Pei Wei, but their Kung Pao chicken was so good, we are excited that PF Chang's can still bring that now nostalgic taste to us. We came for Valentine's Day and knew to make reservations. We were at Shake Shack the week before and just walked over the reserve a spot for three of us. It was so slammed packed there were people out the door waiting, but we came a bit before the rush and ended up staying for multiple hours since there were so many people eating here and not a table to spare. I did not mind, it gave us a chance to people watch and enjoy. I was sad they did not have their garlic green beans at this time, but opted for the fried ones. They were perfectly crispy and the spicy mayo sauce was nice. My child had four servings of peach boba, thank you PF Chang's for bring out so many. I was excited to see that they have a rather extensive cheap cocktail menu. I tried a berry on and a Mai Tai, I did put a screen shop of what they were in case anyone was curious. Both were delicious and I would come back for the cocktails alone. My husband had the espresso martini but was not impressed. He felt it was not very strong, he's had better, but not the absolute worth. I imagine he would order something else. My child got her favorite ribs. They were saucy and succulent. Nice portion, she had three leftover. We tried the garlic noodles. Not bad. Hoped they would be close to the Disney Ohana noodles, but not quite, but a good side. I had the steak Kung Pao and my husband had the chicken. I was worried since it was stated that they changed their recipe, but they were both excellent and quite literally why I come here. Of course we had to get dessert. They had a new to us peanut butter pie which was creamy and delicious. It was a nice smaller yet cheaper dessert. But we did need the great wall of chocolate cake, because that is why we live for, a huge slab of cake that is chocolatey, creamy, fudgy and decadent. We did only eat about half the cake. We also all had leftovers of all of the dishes and were able to get an additional meal out of all of the them. They still had a nice portion size. Once again, I look forward to coming back. Enjoyed unplanned dinner here on a Sunday night and honestly, I was impressed. No wait at all, and the food came out really quickly, which was a nice surprise. We went with the Chef's Feast for 2, the portions were generous and price seemed fair. I also tried the house salad, which was fresh and way better than I expected for something so simple. The real standout for me was the Pad Thai Shrimp, this one might be one of my favorites in a long time. The edamame was a solid starter too. The place itself was clean, with a relaxed ambiance, and the staff was super nice without being overbearing. Funny thing is, I've only been here maybe twice in the last ten years, but this visit made me realize I should probably stop by more often. There are a lot more dishes I'd like to try next time. read more

I had never been to P.F. Chang's before, but the group I was with decided to go there. I liked the atmosphere, and it smelled great, so I was kind of excited. We got there at about 4:15 on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated because there were 6 of us. We ended up being seated at a high top table near the bar because the bartender (Evan or Ethan, I think?) was the only server available. He was amazing and funny and efficient, and he made good suggestions. He kept apologizing for things taking a while when they really didn't take very long at all. He was also really good with refilling beverages. (Well, he IS a bartender, after all.) I ordered the Teriyaki chicken. It was basically sweet & sour chicken and pineapple with a little kick. (But not too much; I don't like spicy foods at all.) There was nothing else in it -- no vegetables of any kind. (When I warmed up the leftovers at home, I added sweet peppers, mushrooms and cucumbers -- as it should be! The food is good, but nothing really different. I found it vastly overpriced compared to very similar dishes you'd get at small, family-owned Chinese restaurants. Mine was $18. The same thing at an independent restaurant runs about $10 - $12 and includes soup, egg rolls and rice. The only thing these entrees came with was rice. You could order the combinations, but that was for 2 or more people, and if only one person wanted it, no appetizer was included. We did get a couple appetizers to share. Six pieces were about $14. Again, independent restaurants charge about half that. Would I go there again? I don't know. Given my druthers, I prefer to support independent restaurants rather than chains run by conglomerates. read more

Went to PF Chang's specifically for the sizzling dumplings. They tasted good, pretty light on the filling. However, there was no crispiness nor sizzle. I actually thought maybe we'd put in the wrong order. The check said otherwise. It was an ok meal, but I think I'll stick with my local takeout versus this pricier, smaller portioned option. read more

Valentines Date Night We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our waitress greeted us to take a drink order, we hadn't looked at the drinks yet so we ordered water while we scanned the menu. Ordered a Tokyo Mule which was very good with a good ginger flavor and a Midnight something. It was very good but sweet, which I liked. Appetizer was lettuce wraps which were very good, although there could be more sauce. Mains were Pepper Steak w/ brown rice and Kung Pao Chicken w/ lo mein. Both entrees were delicious. We capped the meal with the Great Wall of Chocolate which was extremely large and delicious. Service was top notch, she was super friendly. Overall a great experience!!! read more

It seems PF Changs is losing its appeal more and more. Hostess had us touring the restaurant to find us a seat, then re-routed us back to the front entrance to wait until he figured it out. He finally sat us and with no menus. I had to chase down an employee to get us menus. I found out the crab wontons are NOT crab meat. Literally cream cheese with peppers and crab flavoring for $14!! Won't order those ever again! The service is less and less quality. Our waitress could have cared less about us. Didn't even ask if we wanted a coffee or dessert. The atmosphere felt strained and awkward. Severly over priced food too! PF Changs "used" to be the place you went for high class service and food. No more! I receive better service at Chilis or Chomp or Half Day Cafe! I ordered a carryout order of chicken lettuce wraps a couple weeks ago and found several large pieces of black, rubbery mystery meat. So I had one terrible experience 8/15/2025 7pm at P.F. Chang's in Rochester. I am allergic to milk products. I ordered Crispy Honey Chicken (which was on the on line allergy menu and I always get it) and well they brought my food to me and well it wasn't very sweet, and looked a little weird. I ate a couple pieces. It was very spicy. I asked the waitress if it was Crispy Honey Chicken. It was not. I advised her i was allergic to what they had brought me So she apologized and took it. About 5 mins later the manager shows up. He first apologized that it took me 5 mins to get the correct food then started talking down to me saying I should have asked for the allergy menu. (Remember they brought me the wrong food) and the food changes all the time. So I actually had to stop him and ask well did they change the Crispy Honey chicken to have milk in it? He said no. It doesn't have milk in it. This continued for another minute or so. I was actually horrified that he was talking to me this way. Your people brought me the wrong food. I ordered the correct food. I am not at fault. Of course on his business card that I took from the hostess I see he is the "operating partner" He offered nothing for the mistake. I've eaten at enough PF Chang's in my day to know what to expect long before I walk in the door. When I first starting eat at here, it was out west and a slightly different experience. When they opened this location, I was excited that it was so close to home for me. Coming here last night for dinner was better then the first few experiences I had dining here, which is why I held off on a review. But, my three stars covers my previous experiences as it wasn't always fabulous like last night. They seem to finally have it together here, at least for this visit. Prices have gone up and most dishes range between $20 and $40. There's a few dishes that are under $20, but this place has gotten kind of expensive compared to when I started dining at this chain years ago. If you were to get an appetizer, an adult beverage and a dinner plate it would easily run you well over $50 a person, so be prepared. This locations easier to get in and out of then the one at Somerset mall, and our food was tasty. My mom said her dish tasted a bit lukewarm but we both loved our food. read more

I visit P.F. Chang's often and have never had any issues. When my order was wrong even though the server read it back to me to confirm I was disappointed. All of the people at my table were done eating by the time my correct order came out and when the check came the food was not discounted or removed from the bill. read more

Tried the Rochester Hills location tonight. Looked very attractive from the outside and after seeing the dinner specials advertised outside decided to give it a try. Very nice interior and was greeted immediately and shown to a table. Ordered a suggested cocktail and a beef entree off the dinner menu. Immediately I received my spring roll appetizer which made me suspicious that it was already prepared and kept heated like fast food. My entree was EXTREMELY disappointing seven dry scraps of seasoned beef with a minuscule amount of green onion on very dry clumping rice . Waitress obviously sensed my disappointment and looked embarrassed. I didn't say anything as I felt it was not her fault . On reflection I feel that an empowered waitress should challenge the kitchen on quality and presentation. Lately, the service quality at the Rochester Hills, MI location has been less than favorable. I placed a carryout order today by phone at 7:58PM. At 8:13PM, my husband had stood for at least 10 minutes at the carryout station waiting to be acknowledged by staff. Five minutes later and while watching the bartender and wait staff walk past him as if his purpose was to stand idly by, my husband was finally assisted AFTER I called the restaurant to let them know he had been there waiting for help! And the kicker? Our food had been sitting at the carryout station the entire time!! So thank you, P.F. Chang's staff and management of the Rochester Hills location. Came to P.F. Chang's on a Saturday before the dinner rush. Staff were wearing masks and tables were seated with some separation. The ambience is moody but open - great for a date night. They also had an impressive bar with a few TVs. There was a paper menu but a QR menu for food. A ton of options both food and drink wise. Went with the green tea - which was perfect on a cold winter evening. Lots of good apps, dim sum, sushi, entrees, and more. The chicken lettuce wraps are a must. Crunchy lettuce along with a delicious sauce on the chicken. Our waitress was awesome - she was the reason I made my rating a 4 rather than a 3. She was attentive and friendly. She apologized for our entrees coming out at separate times. Sounds like this happens a lot based on her reaction. My husband's food came out first, then mine took about 10+ minutes to come out after his. I got shrimp pad thai and for no charge, I got a nice black hair included - yuck. Very disappointing to be waiting around for your food and then to have a hair buried in. My husband enjoyed his sesame chicken entrée and loved the fried rice. Consistency between the myriad of corporate cookeries is a crap shoot. Normally, PFC is acceptable between every location and expectation until you make a special request. The robotic line cooks have no culinary talent or training/expertise so you're doomed to ask for an exception. I ordered the Singapore noodles, an easy dish. I allergic to shrimp so I gave them an easy substitution by requesting extra vegetables. They used 'cherry tomatoes' as a substitute for shrimp. Absolutely astonishing! We went to the P.F. Chang's in Rochester Hills, MI for dinner this evening. The food was very good, but our waiter, Ashley, was a standout. She always had a smile on her face and stopped by frequently to ask how our food was, quickly provided refills and when I mentioned that the Diet Coke I was drinking was a bit flat, she went and immediately notified the manager who proceeded to change the CO2 canister and then she brought me another that was just right. Got P.F. Chang's pick up and I have never been so disappointed with food in my life. The crab ragoons are so dry inside, I think they forgot to put cream cheese in the crab? The changs spicy chicken had zero flavor somehow, the lettuce wraps came with the wrong sauce (some peanut dressing), didn't follow specific instructions to take egg out of the fried rice, and overcooked honey shrimp. Horrible experience! We came here for my husband's birthday. I simply requested a booth when I called ahead of time. We were sat at a table. We placed our orders and received a good meal. Once we were done, the server cleared our table and spilled food on my husband's shirt. I would assume proper etiquette would be to allow us a few minutes to finish our drinks before clearing the table and rushing us. The restaurant was dirty and several tables were not wiped down or bused. We placed an order for carry out and sat at our table for 20 minutes waiting for it. It was waiting at the carry out window the whole time! We waited and waited and were ignored by our server. He had forgotten about us and never bothered to check and see if we needed anything additional! So now I have food that has been sitting. read more
