Safe, clean motel to stay. Just a sleeping stop for us but it met our needs. Desk hostess was pleasant and efficient. We didn't stay for breakfast but it looked good with many options for everyone. There's a fire pit to sit around at night, a decent pool, and a nice lobby area. They also offer fruited Water, popcorn for free in the lobby. Didn't explore anything as got in late. My only complaint would be that the room seemed damp, and the carpet was stained. Can tell it's a family owned business as it has a personal Touch that most hotels lack. Home away from Home I was initially hesitant about staying at Budget Lodging even though the reviews had been positive, but I am very glad I took the chance. Upon arriving at the motel we were warmly greeted by Tom, along with a welcoming interior lobby. Tom provided us with an overview of the hotel's amenities along with recommendations for dinner in the local area. While the motel was older, the high level of cleanliness and upkeep directly contributed to the positive experience of our stay. The room was decorated to that of a B&B instead of a sterile chain hotel room. The complementary breakfast the next morning provided many choices from biscuits and gravy to cereal and fruit. Also, the kindness shown from Heather, the front desk receptionist, and her boss Becky is truly exceptional. In our travels across the country the it becomes more difficult to distinguish one hotel from another. The Budget Lodging folks were friendly and I felt like a valued customer right away - this place is a gem. Very not-franchise. It's not a fancy, trendy place, but kept clean and comfortable. Our king bed was new and firm. I liked that they offered fresh popcorn and hot chocolate in the lobby. My husband and I stayed here on the last leg of our Route 66 trip. I was nervous as pictures and reviews can be deceiving. From the moment we pulled up I knew it was a good choice. It's beautiful and welcoming on the outside. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. We pulled our car right up to our room door. The room was clean and inviting. The decor, beds and linens were nice, updated and comfortable. I'm not religious but spiritual. There was a beautifully written plaque on the wall. I read it to my husband before I took a shower in the very clean bathroom. It gave a very Zen feeling to the room. I would stay here again in a minute. My husband and I love to travel. We have stayed in high end hotels and We have stayed in some nasty places. This was a wonderful stay and the price was awesome. Don't hesitate to book. read more

RV broke down and shop referred me and my dog here. Arrived on Saturday and stayed until Tuesday. Lobby area was very comfortable and relaxing. Room was spotless and very well decorated. As far from a chain hotel as you can get. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and welcoming to both me and my dog. Breakfast was good with many options to choose from. Hardwood floors. Local family owned. You can tell how much time and care they put into this place. It shows. Best hotel I've stayed in to date off the 40/44 Hwy cross country trips. Ive done the coast to coast 9 times. The hotel name threw me off as I was thinking cheap/budget = skinny on the common comfort & luxuries, but it's anything but. Absolutely love this place!!! My boyfriend and I went here for an overnight get away for his bday and they made it so special. When we got our room ( which was very clean) they had a cookie cake and a ballon and a card from from all the staff with their signatures. It was so thoughtful. I definitely recommend Pinemark, Rooms are very clean and updated! Staff is extremely nice and they have a hot breakfast bar which was pretty good too. I have no complaints at all. This is actually the 1st hotel I've been to and not had to complain. We we'll definitely be back for another stay ! read more

Poor business practices. When we arrived to check in, the first thing we noticed was that the pool is much tinier than it looks in picture. The pool was completely full of people, no lounge chairs or even any ground space to put towels etc., much less find a few square inches of personal space in the pool. I told the front desk that we came for the pool and wouldnt be able to stay. They will not refund my money! I would just like a refund! read more

This spot was a welcome experience on our long trip. It surpassed all of the other chain hotels we stayed in previously. For starters, there's a cute lobby upon arrival for checkin where, in the afternoon, they have fresh popped popcorn available and they also have coffee and hot chocolate available. I don't plan to partake in breakfast which is available because I bring my own breakfast on the road; however, I would expect a breakfast a step above other places based on other reviews. The service was friendly. Next was the room which was impeccably clean and the bed had a cute quilt bedspread on it which I found charming... there were little thoughtful decorations around the room that made it a comfortable experience standing out from the rest. I hope we pass this way on our way home to stay here again. The price was less expensive than we had spent at other hotels. Nice! read more

Every one that works there was very nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel at ease. The rooms were cleaner than any of the "higher end" hotels that I have stayed at. Pet friendly with a fenced in dog run. The continental breakfast was full of options and everything was good! Very impressed and very pleased! We stayed here for the second time recently. This time the room was much cleaner. Very nice. Staff is friendly and coffee/tea available in the lobby. Breakfast is limited. I'm not a fan of premade eggs and meat, so I didn't eat much. Our dog was with us so it was nice to be able to park outside our door. Would recommend this facility. read more

Called about midnight desk they had availability which they did and they only charged extra $10 for your pet. Floors and Rumar photo would know carpet which is great when you have a pet. Pretty place very misleading by the name budget hotel, makes you think it's going to be cheap and old. it looks like a up North lodge , very nice and the staff is very nice as well. Private entry door from outside to rooms, looks like a decent safe neighborhood right off the expressway. They have thought about every thing you could need and how they cam make your stay more comfortable. Breakfast is the best one I've had at a hotel. Budget Lodging is a nice place. The rooms are clean and quiet, if a little smaller than most newer chain hotels. Thee is a microwave and mini fridge in every room with nice flat screens which are pretty much the norm in hotels now a days. The breakfast is supposed to be good but I've not been down there yet. Also they give CDL holders a discount which is nice. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the wifi sucks. It's not password protected and I think they don't have enough bandwidth or something. read more
