This campground is very close to Six Flags, St. Louis, literally the other side of the interstate…read moreso a lot of people camp here to go to the park. It is a pretty campground, they have a lot of things for the kids to do, including a pool, a bounce pad, playground, lots of areas to ride bikes, and they have events scheduled for the kids throughout most weekends. It looks like. they have some sites that are full hook up, but I think the majority of the sites are just water and electric. They have an extensive tent section and it is out back by a horse farm, which was very pretty. They do have some rustic sleeping cabins that do not have bathrooms or kitchen, and they also have higher and deluxe cabins that have kitchens and their own bathroom. They do have laundry, six washing machines and three dryers, however, one dryer was out of order and the second one they were putting the sign on as it was broken too so basically one working dryer. Staff are very friendly. It's a pretty pricey place to stay for camping, we paid $90 a night for a full hook up site. Make sure to sign up for the KA discounts, if you camp more than once or twice at a KOA it becomes worth it.

Our second time staying at a KOA. Stayed in a deluxe cabin…read more Cabin was clean and comfortable, plenty of accommodations, including a gas grille, gas firepit, and regular fire pit. Kitchen was a nice size. Overall a great 'glamping' experience. Price was fair in my opinion compared to a hotel. The KOA was clean, staff was friendly. They have a bounce pad, dog park, basketball area, pool and playground. Our kids had a blast on the bounce pad and pool. Some cons: -pool says heated, but it was pretty cold. However in 85* muggy heat it was fine. -Dog park was fine, but kinda run down There is also a very clean/clear creek on west side of KOA, kids had a blast in it. Seems like a 1-2 day stay KOA, alot of people we met were traveling across to either CA or Carolinas, Overall if we were travelling across the US, we would stop here again!

Will NEVER go back!!!! The place is a mess!!! The pool is absolutely disgusting! Don't think it's…read morebeen cleaned since they opened it on Memorial Day. Saturday evening there was a band playing and a food truck there another couple had came over to our campsite and asked if we wanted to play cornhole we always bring it with us and instead of doing that we all ended up talking well after the band stopped they were breaking down and my husband turned our stereo on. The four of us are in our 60s, we aren't young kids that play music really super loud. There was no on either side of us. Nor behind us it was a big open field. The manager Loretta over to our site guns a blazing telling us that we to turn the music down that she was getting a bunch of complaints actually the band was still breaking down and the food truck just left and we were having a conversation so there's no way that the music was loud. My husband jokingly said well as soon as you leave, we'll just turn it back up lol even meeting this couple for the very first time they knew that he was joking as I did also. she told us that we should pack up and leave right then and there, knowing that we were drinking alcoholic beverages all day. Who does that kind of stuff nobody I know. I would never allow anybody to leave my home after drinking all day. She tried to come and talk to me the next day, but she has a hair up her ass for my husband. She always seems to have something to bitch about and we spend a lot of money there. we will never go back there. Also, the place is a mess. There was an inch and a half of water in the bathrooms by the pool. The pool was so scummy and disgusting. And if she thinks we were making loud noise, try going to playground at 11:30 at night when there's a bunch of kids running around and screaming and playing until their parents decide to go and tell to come in. 1130 at night kids at a playground. Yet she has to yell at 60 year old people for having a radio on please. Loretta is disrespectful talks bad about her other employees which she can't keep anybody there they quit and they talk bad about her too. We will never go there again, and I would never advise my worst enemy to go there. We were also told by an employee that 90 percent of the people that are there live there! And you can tell... rusted out campers, clothes hanging outside, toys in their yards. what a dump!

Nice little park fun for kids had a nice play ground basketball and fountain. Pool was closed for…read morewinter. General store is neat. Didn't find any dumpsters to put trash and about 10 min from nearest town. Would Be nice if they could partner to have restaurant delivery.
