Large picnic pavilion with BBQ grill.

A large park with plenty of unique amenities for a city park, including RV parking and campsites, boating and fishing lake, archery course with animal targets, and dog park. Free summer concerts held here. Also has a drop point for the Dardenne Creek water trail.

Wow! A super suburban park with a 4+ mile bike trail, camping, a lake and several large pavilions. I love riding here during the week when I'm not on the Katy Trail.

We visited the pavilion for the Halloween dog event everyone was there! You name the costume, you could see it there at the dog park. The small dog park is one of our favorite places to visit during a nice sunny day. Right next to them are the large dogs. Both dog parks are packed with obstacles and other dogs to play with. This membership is a yearly must have if you are a dog owner. Hope to see you there. ;)

Easy to get to and directions from the web site are spot on. Check in was simple and straightforward. We used a pull through site that was ample to park the RV and the car. Nice spacious lot. Plenty of activities available i. e. Fishing , walking, bike trails, canoe rental, birding, archery, dog parks, etc. Additionally, this is a good base for seeing St. Louis and historic St. Charles.

An absolutely beautiful clean spacious park. Plenty of room. It's quiet and on man-made lake.

Sundermeier RV Park - Bad wiring problem with 30A receptacles showing E5 error (Line/Neutral reversal).

I've stayed here a couple times and generally like the park. I appreciate owners investing in urban…read moreRV parks and I don't expect much for amenities in these kinds of settings. The staff were pleasant on a pre-arrival phone call and at check-in--but once there was an issue, the office staff member became very argumentative and rude, consistent with other online reviews. **ELECTRICAL SAFETY WARNING** DO NOT use the 30A receptacles here unless you have a surge protector with an Electrical Management System (EMS) that explicitly confirms correct wiring before connecting your RV. My equipment detected a Line/Neutral Reversal on some 30A receptacles; the 50A receptacles appeared to be wired correctly. When I reported this life-safety hazard, the staffer's response was, "Don't use your surge protector--they're not compatible with our system." As a licensed Electrical Engineer with 30+ years of experience, I can state that this is 100% nonsense. The surge protector was correctly doing its job by flagging a major wiring fault. Do not follow the staff's advice when they tell you not to use your surge protector to "make it work." That is irresponsible advice that is literally endangering your safety. The staff also insisted that they don't have a problem because previous 30A users without surge protectors had "no problems." This is plausible because a Line/Neutral reversal doesn't usually affect RV operation but the statement shows their complete lack of understanding of the actual problem. A Line/Neutral reversal energizes the neutral side of the RV's electrical system. This means the RV chassis, appliance housings, and internal neutrals, which should be near ground potential, all become live, creating a serious shock or electrocution hazard if someone touches those RV components while grounded. The sites are basic with level concrete pads in good condition and other utilities (water/sewer) were fine. Excellent location near the historic St. Charles district. WiFi is unusable--bring your own Internet source. Restrooms and showers are dated and not in great condition. There was also no hand soap at the bathroom sinks all weekend. This park should be a 7/10 rating, but the electrical hazard drops it to a 5/10. The staff bring the rating down further to a 3/10.

The bathroom was the dirtiest nastiest bathroom we have ever come across in our travels. We stop at many RV parks throughout the year and for a place that charges $75 a night to have such a disgusting bathroom. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms of the men or women's. The toilet paper and paper towels were all over the floor. The showers were disgusting. I called the management team on the phone asked to talk to a supervisor and all I was told was we will try to get to it by tomorrow. I went into draft Kings casino and talk to a manager in person told him about how nasty the bathroom were. This was in the morning and now we're getting ready to leave the next day and nothing has been done. When you pull into the RV park, there's nobody to show you or tell you anything there's no Wi-Fi nobody to ask help from. For a casino that is this big you would think that they're priority of cleanliness, professionalism and care would be their first responsibility. I talked to other campers out here and they all were complaining about it. Anyway, there's no way I'll ever come back. There's no way that I will promote this RV park or this casino.

Saturday evening there was a band playing and a food truck there another couple had came over to our campsite and asked if we wanted to play cornhole we always bring it with us and instead of doing that we all ended up talking well after the band stopped they were breaking down and my husband turned our stereo on. The four of us are in our 60s, we aren't young kids that play music really super loud. There was no on either side of us. Nor behind us it was a big open field. The manager Loretta over to our site guns a blazing telling us that we to turn the music down that she was getting a bunch of complaints actually the band was still breaking down and the food truck just left and we were having a conversation so there's no way that the music was loud. My husband jokingly said well as soon as you leave, we'll just turn it back up lol even meeting this couple for the very first time they knew that he was joking as I did also. she told us that we should pack up and leave right then and there, knowing that we were drinking alcoholic beverages all day. Who does that kind of stuff nobody I know. I would never allow anybody to leave my home after drinking all day. She tried to come and talk to me the next day, but she has a hair up her ass for my husband. She always seems to have something to bitch about and we spend a lot of money there. we will never go back there. Also, the place is a mess. There was an inch and a half of water in the bathrooms by the pool. The pool was so scummy and disgusting. And if she thinks we were making loud noise, try going to playground at 11:30 at night when there's a bunch of kids running around and screaming and playing until their parents decide to go and tell to come in. 1130 at night kids at a playground. Yet she has to yell at 60 year old people for having a radio on please. Loretta is disrespectful talks bad about her other employees which she can't keep anybody there they quit and they talk bad about her too. We will never go there again, and I would never advise my worst enemy to go there. We were also told by an employee that 90 percent of the people that are there live there! And you can tell... rusted out campers, clothes hanging outside, toys in their yards. what a dump!
