Even played some fetch with the shop dog!

We were at the park during a triathlon expo on a day with a heat advisory, and I was honestly blown…read moreaway by the kindness and thoughtfulness of the park staff. They came around with a cooler full of popsicles, handing them out to everyone to help keep us cool such an unexpected and appreciated gesture! The park itself is very well-kept and inviting. They even had chalk out for the kids to draw with, as well as a giant Jenga set for them to play. It's rare to see that level of care and community spirit, and it made such a positive impression. Huge thanks to the park crew for going above and beyond you can tell they truly care about the people who visit.

There are two picnic pavilions, a horseshoe pit, and restrooms. I didn't see a playground during a visit. Parking lots are smallish and possibly insufficient for pavilion users. It's a heavily wooded park, so the college and surrounding neighborhood are largely hidden from view.
