Ash did a wonderful job... 3 different types of eggs, 2 types of sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy and a push-button pancake maker! (Which my husband loved!) Their merch wall was a great touch... hats, signature pillows, very classy things. Then the Lobby... so comfortable with fireplace, leather sofas, game/eating tables, popcorn machine, and games galore!! The facilities have been renovated, and have the feel of a tastefully decorated home. The outdoor pool (with salt water!) and fire pits are wonderful gathering spots, especially for families with kids. There is no elevator but there is a walk in first floor and around the other side of the building is the entrance to the 2nd floor. Bathroom was clean and so was the room. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows available. The microwave was tiny but functional. The refrigerator was cold and kept our beverages cold, but the clicking was very loud, so loud we needed to use the white noise app to get to sleep. We needed extra towels so we spoke to the front desk team and they assured us they would drop them off. We waited an hour, then texted as instructed upon check in, still nothing 20 minutes later. I called and they assured me they would bring directly. 15 minutes later STILL NOTHING! My husband called, they FINALLY came to the room to see if we were checking out early! We just needed an extra towel; this is not an extraordinary ask. They finally gave us ONE towel, with no apology. Later that night, when we returned from the family wedding, our keys mysteriously did not work to unlock the room, so we had to go back down to get the keys reprogrammed. Unless I ABSOLUTELY had to, I will not stay here again.

The large indoor pool was well maintained and a welcome respite after such a long drive. The room is not large but it was clean, well appointed, with a refrigerator and coffee pot. Breakfast is provided in the morning with a large selection of offerings. Loved the beautiful bench by the window for AM coffee and the beautiful shower. It was too cold to use the patio area, but would be great in spring/summer.
