Three tiered restaurant on Pineapple and Eau Gallie, very Key West look and great vibe. Rooftop is best with some river views and plenty of shade. First floor features in or outdoor seating. Varied menu, different items also available downstairs and on dinner menu. Good cocktail selection. Fun. Try the Florida native drinks, tuna poke flight, pineapple steak kabobs, lobster (rock shrimp?) Mac n cheese, & hog fish sandwich. Soups looked really good, too. Big burgers. Food porn going by to other tables make you want to return for more. Downside? I looked at my receipt from my first visit (I treated my support staff) & noticed that we'd been overcharged for a dish and a cocktail we hadn't received. When I called (a few days after our visit) to ask if they'd make an adjustment on our bill at lunch the the next day, when I was returning with more guests to try to support the EGAD area. The inexperienced manager asked incredulously if I really expected her to do anything a week after the fact. Yes! I did! A complimentary drink or two? Appetizer? I truly almost didn't return as their type of menu is available right in Cocoa Beach where I live - why should I drive all that way for lunch if they wouldn't make it right? Still, great wait staff and valet service made it worth trying a couple more times but I will no longer drive just to eat there. My boyfriend and i arrived right before sunset, Noah was very attentive as a server. Drinks arrived within 5 min of being ordered and were delicious. We decided to do a variety of apps to get a lot of options and they were all delicious. The tuna was so fresh, loved the seaweed salad along side. First-they have two menus-ask for them both! Second-their drinks are delicious. We had the prickly pear margarita and the key lime martini. The key lime is dessert in glass-so so good. Best drink I've had. My parents and I went to pineapples on a whim-glad we did. We loved the drinks, the apps and the entrees. The wasabi encrusted tuna! It's served in chuck style not sliced but it is fork tender and so delicious. My dad talked about all the way home. I had the Hawaiian Monchung fish-the only complaint I have is that my Bok Choy side wasn't rinsed well before cooking-I had grit. But overall fabulous meal and we will 100% be returning. They have 3 floors to choose from (with elevator access). We sat on the 3rd floor patio-the view is fantastic and the breeze last night was perfection. Bathrooms easily accessible on all 3 floors. You have to ask them what their desert specials are as they are not listed on the menu. Last night was pineapple upside down cake and key lime pie (the server said both are made in house). Worst service on the rooftop on a June afternoon. Ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from the menu. Amber brought the bottle and poured two glasses. Once we tasted it, we realized it was Chardonnay. We complained. Amber told us that the menu wasn't up to date because of Covid and they didn't have the Sauvignon Blanc. Clearly she knew this when she took the order but failed to mention it and tried, and unfortunately, succeeded in selling us a bottle of wine we did not want. Her solution was to charge us for two glasses of wine and take the bottle back. We refused this lame attempt because we didn't want to pay glass price versus bottle. We drank it but were thoroughly irritated. The clincher why, as a local, I will never patronage this place again is when our Navy Veteran at the table asked for a military discount and Amber clearly didn't want to honor it and said, I will only give it to the sandwich you ordered. Not his wife's or the other appetizer we shared with the party of 5. I've been to other establishments where the whole table gets the 10 percent. I'm pushing 60, the other 4 are pushing 30. Clearly Amber had no respect for the youngins' and wasn't interested in providing friendly and adequate service. read more

We popped into here for lunch after the Arts Festival this weekend. Extremely busy area, but the first floor area was nice and quiet with a few people sitting at the indoor/outdoor bar and there are a few tables outside (note to Management- please fix those 2 wobbly tables!) The person behind bar was doing double duty- drinks and taking checks n orders. The food- my husband's burger was good, still juicy considering it was a "smash burger" style. My lobster roll- pretty small sized hotdog bun, my phone was longer/bigger than it. They really OD on the Old Bay seasoning so it was very salty, couldn't taste sweetness of the lobster. The mashed potatoes were good and filling though. The 3rd floor rooftop looked nice, lots of people and louder music. I think normally it has a little bit of shade cover, but they might have taken it all down because of the hurricane previous week. My sisters and I had lunch at Pineapples today. We were able to sit on the 3rd floor in the shade with a great view. Our servers Brooke and Rocky were outstanding. They were friendly, knowledge about the menu, and attentive. We had the pork belly sliders, the soft shell crab sandwich, and the beet to the goat salad. The margaritas were excellent. Came in for a rooftop mai tai, and ended up with a bacon-wrapped scallop appetizer. Service was outstanding. Mai tai was delicious and eye-pleasing. Loved the scallops. Natural flavor combined with the bacon turned out a great dish. Highly recommend! read more

We walked in to the first floor with a party of 7 around 6:30 on 1/28/23 . Originally they set us up inside in front of the bathroom so we asked if the first floor patio was available. The question was immediately met with a soberingly reluctant demeanor and we were told they could accommodate us . " you should have told us that from the begging because it's a busy night . " the older blond hostess stated with an attitude. We looked around the empty dinning room which retained less than 60% occupancy for the remainder of our meal and followed silently. The hostess rudely interjected in the conversation " we already set up two table's at this point, so what are we going to do? ", she made us feel " welcome ". My wife ordered there- Fish - which had no taste even came out cold - even cold side dishes which we paid extra for- there's no reason for not getting hot food. Had to send back- I had their steak kabobs which was cold too. First time we came here-I had them -they came out perfect that was about two years ago. This time very poor- both of our dinner dishes came out not hot- when you pay a premium price it better be hot coming out.. probably wouldn't recommend for dinner. This was on the first level dining restaurant. And the sad thing was they weren't even busy on this level. Usually when we eat out I take pictures of our food especially when it's good. When I saw them coming with our food I kind of knew from the presentation of the plates something didn't look right.
