Long time (1947)and well established bar and grill in a residential area is definitely worth the visit. Clean, comfy , non smoking, kid friendly, full bar and CASH ONLY so be prepared. The Pine Room Burger was fantastic, beef burger seasoned well and grilled to perfection loaded with 2 types of cheese, bacon with onion and pickles served with a crispy side of fries. Husband had the Hamburger Steak with mashed potatoes and coleslaw, hamburger steak was seared in a iron plate and smothered with a delicious gravy and onions and mushrooms ( absolutely scrumptious) Wednesday and Thursday evening are their Steak Night special so you might have a wait. Service was great and patrons are the best.

Food was amazing as always! Wednesdays and Thursdays are steak night with two sides for $15.95! The sides vary but usually have the baked potato, side salad, green beans on their list. Sometimes there are homemade desserts if you still have room! The steaks have always been perfect and a great price. The Pine Room has street parking in a quiet neighborhood setting. Outside fire pits to enjoy as well! Sometimes there is a wait for a table, but we usually go a little later and can get right in. Friendly and efficient staff! This is a cash only establishment.

Do not let this place fool you! It may seem rough around the edges but definitely not! My family was not convinced when first arrived but quickly changed course once received our food! I wish I could give a 4.5, but just couldn't do a 5. The steak special (Wednesday and Thursday I believe) was great! Ribeye with two sides $14.95, really?!? Steak was delicious and tender, cooked with lots of butter which means love! Baked potato with plenty of butter and sour cream! So many calories but worth every single one! Side salad was nice break from all the richness and definitely homemade dressings! Beer selection not great and only accepts cash but seemed like a regular spot for all there. If better beer and took credit or debit, probably get a 5. Don't pass on this place especially on steak night!

The French onion soup was amazing! As close as I recall the original Famous Barr restaurant soup was years ago. The salad was ok. Don't know why they chose to purée the butternut squash after roasting it, but that I think would've been better having the roasted bite with the beats. But the southern fried chicken sandwich was delicious. Highly recommend. And the Service was great.

The server was very knowledgeable about all things on the menu presented us with the off menu specials for the night information over everything offered with it. It was wonderful. They have great wine selections. Great beer selections very impressed with everything. The only negative was this was my cheat meal and I got the chicken Alfredo and the pasta was not very flavorful. The chicken was prepared nicely. It was grilled it was delicious. I was expecting maybe a little bit more flavor to the chicken which could've helped with the pasta, but the pasta was very bland. Other than that, I loved everything and I will be back to try other things on the menu

He made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Despite this being in essentially a rich persons strip mall the ambience inside was wonderful. Beautiful decor, wonderful atmosphere. The food was very very good. Love farm to table and this place delivers that with elegance. I highly recommend this place for a nice night out. The prices reflect the quality you get. The 38$ pork chop I ordered was excellent and a lot of food! They handled a group of 12 very well. And from experience I know not a lot of places can pull it off but this place did with grace. Highly recommend.

I was looking to "book" a private dining room in a restaurant that I thought might be good. I called Prasino's, but couldn't speak with anyone because their Customer Service is geared to choosing numbers on my phone keypad. Okay, I followed the rules-- left my name and contact information and sat back to wait for a call. It has now been over 48 hours and there has been no call; no message. I've now booked with another local restaurant. A place that has humans who will speak with a person when he or she calls. I suppose they must have all the business they need? Mu business would have only provided between 5 and $10,000 but hey-- I guess that's not worth returning a call. In any case, I don't recommend Prasino's. I suppose they just don't care.

They have some unique offerings, and I have been eyeing the chicken and waffles online. Shared that and Avocado Toast with no Feta one of my daughters in attendance. Had a bite of my other daughter's chorizo biscuits and gravy. I liked the pearl sugar waffle and the chicken tender, I was glad to have gotten the sauce on the side, it was too sweet for me. It was also on the Avocado toast but I loved the fresh greans on that as well as the poached egg, it was yummy. Nice space, good food, friendly service

I normally don't like leaving negative reviews, but something felt different this time. When we walked in there was only one other couple dining, and there was noticeable clutter sitting in the corners of the restaurant. It gave the place a different feel than what we remembered from our last visit. I ordered the Creole Breakfast Gravy. The biscuit itself was excellent--light, fluffy, and exactly how a biscuit should be. Unfortunately the gravy was disappointing. It tasted more like regular sausage gravy with a heavy amount of cayenne pepper and Cajun seasoning added to it. The flavors just didn't balance well. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict. One poached egg was perfect, but the other came out over medium. That's something a trained chef normally wouldn't send out, and it made me feel like the kitchen might have a cook working the line rather than a chef overseeing the dishes. I do want to say the waitress was phenomenal. She was very attentive, friendly, and always made sure our coffee stayed fresh and hot. Her service was definitely the highlight of the visit. We will likely come back again because we know this restaurant can do better. Hopefully the kitchen can correct a few things and bring the consistency back.
