Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. Absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I mean if they told me Abuela had made them I would totally believe it. Chefs kiss The hubs ordered the Picanha with morro rice and plantains 10/10 No crumbs or grains of rice was left on his plate! Absolutely delicious Needless to say this place is an absolute must! Definitely will be back

However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

The location is convenient, and there are parking spaces. Not too many, but enough to have people coming and going steadily. Everything was closed around there, except for Wendy's and Taco Bell across the street. We decided to give it a try since we were exploring the city, and how wrong can you go with burgers? We ordered bacon burgers with fries. They also have cheeseburgers and other toppings to choose from from the menu. You can replace the burger with chicken if you want. There are two vegan options too, good call, by the way--also, tequeños and different flavored chicken wings, and fries with cheese, or onions or bacon are available to order too. In the parking lot, there are a few small tables if you want to eat there or wait for your order. We chose to sit and eat there. We were not missing the experience of people-watch in Miami! We were there for 40 minutes, and cars stopped all the time. There was even a line at some point. So, the burgers were very tasty, right-sized, nothing overdone. The fries were okay too. We liked the place and the experience very much. A great option to consider for a late-night snack!

The double cheese burger was SO good! The edges of the patties were super crispy, the bread was soft and pillowy, and every bite was juicy and cheesy. They don't have a ton of options, but honestly I don't think they need to because what they do, they do really well. Their special sauce seriously takes the burger to the next level. It compliments the cheese and meat so perfectly, but I think what I enjoyed the most was the minced grilled onions. They added so much flavor and texture to every bite. The French fries were also super fresh and perfectly salty. Definitely a simple, straightforward burger spot, but everything just works together really well! And I'm especially happy they're opening more locations closer to my house because I'll definitely be going back!

My wife had the bandeja paisa bowl, and I went with the risotto lomo saltado. That dish almost put me to sleep in the best way possible. Comfort food level 100. We had to finish the night with one of their coffees, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Big shoutout to our server Elvis, who guided us through the menu and gave great recommendations. Usually menus with influences from so many different cultures can feel all over the place, but Luka somehow pulls it off perfectly. They're not just trying to do a little bit of everything. Like many of the other reviews on here, I do agree that the amount of bbq sauce on the meat can be overwhelming and overall the food is overpriced for what it is. I suggest asking for light sauce or opting for the Pincho's that had less bbq sauce on them. At first glance, the burgers looked quite simple, which made me think they might not be anything special. I'm glad I was wrong. Despite their simplicity, the burgers were packed with flavor. The bacon bits and their signature pineapple sauce were a perfect combination--absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with this item on the menu. Very tasty but not insulting to the taste buds! Super soft burger bun and real fresh ingredients! I also got a side of French fries with spice on them. The spice was a bit too salty for me but the fries were fire!! Had to get a fountain drink which I wasn't too happy with the choices. I would like it they offered better drinks. They have fountain drinks like Coke and Minute Maid Lemonade and other coca cola drinks including root beer. So I would love to see more natural juices, refresher water or iced teas. I think that would compliment their burgers really well! Another thing to consider is the prices of these burgers. They run about $9-$11 plus the fries ( individual size $4.99), and drink $3. Plus the tax and tip you end up paying about $20-22 for a burger combo. So it's a cool place for adults but I would be curious to see how much a family of 4 or more would spend here..$100...$120? Because of those 2 things I gave them 4 out of 5 stars! The drinks are definitely needed.
