Great food, but I was overcharged. We had burritos and quesadillas. The pico de gallo wasn't fresh.

I probably could've done without the Guacamole & Chips. That plate alone cost $15. It was good but definitely not worth that price. I had the frozen pina colada, and I did enjoy that drink. It was also quite large. So, that was a plus. The place is super cute, and it was nicely decorated for the World Cup. You do have to pay for parking. We parked on the street, but it is a good spot to get a bit to eat while walking the Design District. I recommend stopping by DaleZine, a local bookshop, and my friends recommend going to ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art). It's a free art museum in the area.

We also ordered the tuna tostadas (2 orders!). Each order comes with two mini tuna tostadas and there were so delicious! We also ordered a seared fish taco, Baja fish taco, Sinaloa shrimp taco, and an Al pastor. The service was attentive and kind and we really enjoyed our meal. The tacos ranged from $5-$7 so it can add up quick. But we felt really satisfied and felt every taco was delicious. Loved the space, design and ambiance! A great place to grab a marg and a taco!

He took his time explaining the Miami Spice menu and all the different options in detail, which we really appreciated. Francisco was always checking to make sure we had everything we needed, kept our table clean throughout the evening, and made us feel very well taken care of. Excellent service can truly make a dining experience even better, and Francisco definitely did that for us. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you, Francisco, for the amazing service! Great food brings you to a restaurant, but exceptional service is what makes you remember it--and Francisco made our visit one to remember.

I am gluten free so the fact that they make their own corn corn tortillas is amazing and about 90% of the menu is gluten free. I do have a nut allergy so there were a few items I couldn't have but still lots of options. The server recommend doing family style so we got a few things to share. We really enjoyed the short rib tacos and Verde chicken enchiladas. They were both outstanding. But the best part of the meal was the watermelon margaritas, holy moly so good! I highly recommend this place and its a cute little area to walk around and explore after.

I decided to try HotLime after seeing that the places I normally eat at were both gone. I got an order of three tacos: one shorty (short rib) and two chipotle chick. The short rib was tender and not fatty, and the chipotle chick was good and not too spicy. My order came out in a good amount of time that it was clearly fresh, but didn't take forever. My only complaint is the price. You expect it to be expensive for because of the area, but the price was made extra annoying because of the portion sizes. I got three tiny street tacos, and it didn't come with rice, beans, chips, or anything.

The ceviche was decent, but it wasn't the best I've had. I personally like my ceviche much more limey and bright, and this one just didn't have enough citrus for my taste. What really bothered me were the extra charges. I was charged $4.50 for a Coke Zero and then a 15% service charge. For what? This is a food hall where you order at the counter, they leave your food there, and you have to go pick it up yourself. I'm not sure what service the 15% charge was supposed to cover. The portion was good for the price, but between the average ceviche, the expensive soda, and the service charge, I just didn't feel like the experience was worth it. I wouldn't rush back.

Random Date Night Turns Into a Taco Tuesday Win!…read more Sometimes the best date nights are the random ones! Babe decided on Taco Tuesday at Bar Tulio's in Wynwood, and honestly, I'm not mad at the choice. The place was pretty empty when we went, which actually made for such a nice, intimate setting. It felt relaxed and perfect for catching up, enjoying some good food, and having a little quality time together. The service was solid and everyone was friendly and attentive. We ordered the shrimp tacos and the Porn Star Martinis and both were a HIT! The tacos were delicious, and that martini was so good that I had to run it back for another one. Definitely can see us coming back for another Taco Tuesday date night. Good food, good drinks, good vibes, and even better company.

I think they may have been short staffed because it took over an hour to get our food and drinks. The manager was trying to be helpful and make the situation better, which I appreciated, but it still wasn't the best experience, especially when you're there with a group and everything is taking so long. I got the shrimp tacos, and they were okay. The food overall was decent, but nothing really stood out to me. I would say it's pretty typical bar food. If you come here on a really busy day, especially when there's a big game on TV, just be prepared for potentially slower service, longer wait times for food and drinks, and refills taking a little longer.
