This is the place to go while in Amsterdam. Miguel brings a mix of Spanish tapas with an Italian fusion leaving you with a delightful taste.

Great food and superb service! Meat is good and I would opt for some bread and olives to go with it. Dessert is a must!

So he knows a thing or two about Adrian cuisine. I can honestly say that my meal was the best Asian meal I've ever had! It was so incredibly tasty! The cuisine is a fusion of Chinese and Japanese and I've never tasted anything so good!! The staff are so helpful and polite and couldn't do enough for us. Needless to say my colleague was utterly delighted! I'll be back for more for sure.

If ever this place gets less then 5 stars, that person has no taste buds. I started with a spicy salmon roll which was da bomb. I could attempt to go into details but I won't do it justice. Just go. I followed it up with Dim Sum and it's Japanese equivalent. For people back home in the 506 that's dumplings or "des dough boy". I don't usually have dessert but after having the best dim sum of my life I chose some salted caramel ice cream rig that almost killed me with joy. I also cannot forget to mention the wonderful waitress working that night that was very helpful. Wonderful place. I'll be back. I don't remember what I had to drink but if you deduct a star at a food joint because of drinks...you stink

We came in with a massive group and the staff was more than happy to help us out and cater to our needs. Getting a refill on our drinks was the only thing which took time but it wasn't unreasonable. The top is themselves were surprisingly quick to the table. As for the tapas, just about everything was tasty. For vegetarian stuff the green peppers were great as usual, but make sure to put salt on them. The tomatoes are also really tasty and patatas brava of course. The mushrooms were a little ordinary though. The paella looked really good and tasted so according to others even though I didn't try it. Will certainly go back with a smaller group to try out other dishes.

It reminds me of Pata Negra, with the tiles on the wall and being so dark. The service was fast here. The friendly waitress came quickly to ask us if we wanted drinks and also came quickly when we wanted to order the food. The food also arrived fast, There were plenty of choices on the menu. Fish, meat or vegetarian. All good. We tried a few different things like grilled sardines, patatas bravas, lamb chops, olives, stuffed eggs, chicken, gamba's pil pil. Everything was so yummy! This place really knows quality. I loved it, especially the lamb chops and the gamba's. Everything was for a fair price as well. If you order 2 dishes a person with your party (dishes will be like 6,50) and start of with some bread and olives, have about 2 drink it will cost you like like 22 each. Not much! I will certainly come back and try more veggie dishes next time because they looked great as well.

Our waiter so sweet and was as attentive as he possibly could be given the chaos of the evening. Every table was full and the kitchen was working their butt off. I'll summarize each course: Bread and Butter: Amazing and we managed to finish the whole loaf by our 3rd course. Mackerel with Kale: This was tasty, especially the crispy roasted Kale Potato with Eel: The sauce was very flavorful, but there was only 2 small pieces of eel. Halibut with Fermented Mushroom: I enjoyed this, the halibut was so buttery and creamy. Deer with Cauliflower: I've never had deer before, but this was dIfficult to cut through. It was cooked medium rare and had a very slight gamey taste, but still good. The cauliflower had roasted macadamia nuts on top that was to die for. Cheese Plate: The server dropped this off without explaining what was on the plate. I'm guessing it was Brie, Bleu and some other hard cheese. I don't know what the other two dipping jams were, but they were good. Prickly Pear Sorbet Dessert: The presentation was beautiful, but I felt like there were too many flavors going on to really enjoy it. Envy is best reserved for a special occasion and I would definitely come back for a regular dinner to try their traditional tasting menu. It was a great spot to spend the New Year as the crowd was fun and friendly.

Our waitress recommended 8 dishes for the two of us, making a big deal of how tapas should be a progression from cold to hot plates. And then she apparently put the order in all at the same time, so within the space of five minutes, all 8 courses arrived! They barely even fit on our tiny table, we ended up having to hold our drinks the whole time to make room, then tried to eat one handed. When I said we were a bit surprised that everything came all at once, she snapped at us that the food came out when it was ready. I let it go, but obviously that's the reason a servers duty is to enter the food in at least two courses. Anyway, the food itself wasn't very good, the albondiga was undercooked, the shrimp tasted gamey, and as someone with a Spanish brother in law who has eaten a lot of tapas, this was the worst experience I've had. Also, one of the plates ended up tipping over, spilling oil on my son's shoes and ruining them. So pretty awful and can't recommend.

And their bitterballen was just enough bite. Creamy and crispy! We also got a combination of the hutspot. They were all delicious! Although for me the meatball was just a tad bit salty but it is probably just me! Everything else was spot on. I love their dessert at the end. It was a great way to end the night. We did not have one but they were happy to seat the 2 of us and invited us to switch tables once another couple left (they were checking out). Small space, can accommodate groups of 2-4, cozy atmosphere, lots of the traditional blue and white ceramics on the wall (dishes and tiles). Traditional Dutch cuisine: we ordered the Boerenkoolstamppot with smoked sausage and Zuurkoolstamppot with smoked sausage and a slice of apple pie to share for dessert. The food arrived piping hot in about 20 minutes. It was sooo delicious--the tasty juicy sausage pairs perfectly the mashed potatoes with either sauerkraut or kale. The apple pie was also tasty--larger chunks of apple and more spices less sugar than American apple pie from what I can tell. Perfect with whipped cream. A must visit if you're in Amsterdam and want to try traditional fare. Highly recommended!
