I'm pretty pleasantly surprised!! I've been scared to try poke in NY because my standards are pretty high for it but this place was better than I expected. Very solid portion size to build your own bowl for a good price. I have had better tasting fish/combinations of ingredients but this definitely fills the craving. Fast service, decently spacious interior.

Service was very speedy and the prices were quite reasonable. Ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were quite generous as well. There isn't much seating but they weren't too busy so we were able to sit down. A pleasant ambiance overall!

Ordered: Create Your Own - Large Bowl (~$17): purple rice, proteins: salmon, ahi tuna, shrimp, mix-ins: cucumber, sweet onion, scallion, toppings: seaweed salad, crab salad, ginger, and masago, sauces: spicy mayo and yuzu wasabi, crunches: onion crisps and wonton crisps Thai Iced Tea (free with Yelp check-in with $25+ orders) Aya's take: Spacious, clean, and great addition to Broadway! All the seafood was super fresh, they load up on the toppings, and it's quite healthy and filling overall. I love that they have purple rice here; that's not an option I often see at poke spots. The Thai Iced Tea was sweet and creamy; not sure how fresh it is as they are in the fridge but I can't complain for a free drink to go with my meal. Would definitely come back for my poke fix!

Tasty poké with lots of options. Besides the usual raw fish, they also have cooked beef and eel. There are some unique add ins such as lotus chips and tamago. They also have hot pot options. My bowl of poke was very good. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The fish was decent but the tuna could be fresher.

Another Poke bar opens in Astoria! One of the recent spat of poke bars in Astoria. I visited here in the Spring and found a good variety of options, including chicken, shrimp, and scallions. Overall, the establishment is clean and has friendly staff, but I would not say this poke bar is out of this world; it is just another fast food entrant on the Astoria scene. Whether it will last or not is another matter.

Delicious poke and friendly staff! Well portioned. Varied menu. I really enjoyed my Salmon Lovers bowl. Curious to try their classic tuna bowl or açaí next time. Plenty of seating and clean bathroom.

Clean interior, fast service, great portions! I ordered the salmon lover bowl to share between two people, and I would say it was quite plenty! They didn't skimp on the meat, and everything was very flavorful. If you want less sauce, you should definitely note that when ordering.

We ordered to go, there's a kiosk where you can place your order and pay. PROS: - a lot of avocado - numbered sauces, which was nice, and able to differentiate easily - short wait CONS: - very loose lids, rest of packaging ok - portion size ok/relatively small - skimped some toppings We ordered the 2 protein bowls. I ordered the tuna & salmon and my bf ordered the onion beef and chicken. We walked for only a few minutes, before I noticed the lids were popping off of the bowls, and not tightly secured. When I got back, I tried adding some sauce and shaking the bowl to mix it up only to spill out because it's too loose. There seemed to very little pieces of wonton crisps and mango pieces that I could finish in like 2 bites. Lemon slice was literally 1 lemon slice. Toppings were definitely uneven portions, some less than others. Other than that, the food was ok. I liked that the sauce was numbered so I was able to add what I want and try what I want.

Heard great things from friends about this place so I decided to give it a try. I was really excited because they have mango as a topping, which is my favorite. You can tell they put effort into the restaurant with the mascot and branded box, bags, etc... it felt like I was walking into someone's passion project which is something I love when I walk into shops or restaurants. The rice was really fresh, the toppings delicious and also fresh, and overall delicious choices for poke. I do wish they had seared salmon to complement seared tuna, but overall it's an absolutely great experience. They had quite a few staff ready to serve too making service really fast, so y'all should give them some love!

Piki poke definitely satisfies my craving when I want something light and healthy. No issues the second time around, and they updated their ginger to the white colored one which is so much better! Free Thai iced tea with yelp check in and it pairs so well with the meal.

I remember when Piki Poke first opened, and I was so excited to try it out. Ever since then, I've been a regular, and they've never disappointed! This spot is super cute and always clean, with delicious poke bowls and rice balls that keep me coming back. Honestly, I'm kind of relieved I don't live around the corner because I'd probably eat here every day. The staff is always friendly, and I love that they have a kiosk for easy ordering too. If you're a poke fan, you have to check this place out!

I live in the neighborhood and had my eyes on when this place would open. I am so happy to have a poke place close by!! I believe my previous poke spot place changed ownership and something unfortunately changed and not for the better. For months I've been in the market for a new poke spot and let me just tell you Piki Poke did not disappoint. The place itself is very clean and modern. I believe you order from the computer upfront, but staff is more than willing to help. I had a little difficulties ordering the first time, and they were very kind in assisting me. For the future, I will order online pick up just because there only one computer and it gives me anxiety holding up a line. It's nice they offer an online pick option. For my actual bowl, I created my own and let me tell you the toppings were very generous. Honestly, this place might be the fullest bowl I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and I was very satisfied with my meal without feeling weighted down. Will 100% be back and so happy they opened a poke place in the neighborhood.

I was walking by Broadway after a doctors appointment and noticed this new poke spot. I decided to try it out for lunch and was SO HAPPY! By far the best poke in astoria (finally). The other spots are okay but this one is the best in variety, taste, & portion. I'm so happy to have bumped into this spot by chance. Will be back! The ambiance and decor is also very cute.

They also have an ice cream shop here (Taku Parlour) that is available (but unfortunately, sold out when we went). We got their soy garlic wings and their ramen. Their wings were good but a lot of the pieces were really small. And, although the pork chashu in the ramen (I got their wantan men) was super soft and tender, I felt that the ramen was way too salty for me. Moreover, it doesn't come with an egg and if you do decide to get an egg add-on for $3, it comes in an egg cup and hard-boiled (as opposed to in the ramen and jammy/soft-boiled). Overall, I thought it was an alright spot, a bit pricer, and I'm not sure I would come back for their food.

OK. This won't take long. Fabulous…read more Fabulous meal and fabulous service tonight (Sunday). Three of us came at 6:30 pm and were promptly welcomed. I ordered the Dinner sushi combination D - tuna, salmon and white tuna. It came with a not-so-small small garden salad in a decent dressing. One of my table mates got the Bento box with teriyaki salmon and the other got two rolls (Spicy Girl and Cucumber, Avocado, Jalapeño and Scallion). We also ordered a shrimp shumai appetizer (six small, tasty shumai in the serving). Everything was delicious. And the service was outstanding. To be honest, initially we thought we were being rushed because the server came by repeatedly to remove empty plates and the wrappers from our chopsticks - but we quickly realized that this was really extremely attentive and great service. Throughout the meal, our water glasses were refilled numerous times and we were not rushed at all. After our leisurely meal, we ordered a Green Tea Mille Crepe and an order of fresh fruit. The crepe was very good, although the topping of green tea was a bit thick for us and we scraped it off and ate the rest. The fruit was fresh and delicious. We truly felt very welcomed and valued as customers here. We didn't drink anything other than water, so our bill was only about $100 (before tip) for the 2 hours we were there, but even as we left we felt valued by the serving staff and sushi chefs. An excellent meal and experience.

I always order their "obento box", which comes with a choice of an entrée from their daily-rotating list (so cute how they write them on a few chalkboards that they move around the restaurant for whoever's ordering). Everything I've ordered has always been delicious, from the various fish dishes (salmon / arctic char are particular favourites), the stir-fried pork, and their sushi rolls. The salad is invariably so fresh, and the small side of obanzai is always a treat :) Price point is unparalleled -- I think the bento was priced at $12 when I first came a few years ago, and it's still $12 now. Such a lovely cute restaurant -- service is fast and friendly, and the interior, while a bit small, is definitely very cosy and has that unique rustic Japanese aesthetic to it (including a lot of their tableware). This is definitely a must-try in the area, and I will no doubt be back very soon!

Cuisine: 6 Service: 7…read moreDecor: 7 Value: 6 Overall: 6 I have to preface that, if I had reviewed Hibino in the past, they likely would have received 4 stars. Unfortunately, my latest experience was such a letdown that I have to average that into this review. My usual order here over 10+ years has always been their Kaisen Don, which had some of the better quality sushi rice available in Queens. If you don't think sushi rice is important, then skip my review. If you do, then know that my preference is slight warm rice that does not clump together, with a nice touch of vinegar. Hibino seems to get this part right regularly, but not this past Sunday. It was cold, clumpy, and super light on seasoning. Furthermore, as soon as the bowl arrived, I was a bit skeptical since it's not the usual square box filled with premium goodies. Instead, it was a smaller round bowl with relatively common pieces of sashimi. In the past, there were toro, ikura, uni and scallop, but none were present on Sunday. The only premium pieces I received was the spotted prawn. The rest were salmon, yellowtail, bluefin tuna, sea bass, and arctic char. More importantly, some of the sashimi pieces were somewhat mushy and slightly fishy, not the best quality. On the other hand, we also ordered their Chirashi, which had seared toro, yellowfin tuna, salmon belly, yellowtail belly, shrimp, and flying fish roe. Between the proteins and rice is a layer of shredder egg. Sadly, rice was still cold and lacked flavor, but the egg did help a bit. Though I prefer the thin slices of sashimi in the Kaisen Don over the chunky pieces of fish in the Chirashi, I did prefer the latter on that day. Bottom line, I will give them another chance, but the downgrade on the quality of rice and premium seafood in the Kaisen Don was a major disappointment. Praying my next visit restores my faith in the restaurant.

The gyoza was cooked very nicely, came sizzling and the bun with meat was a little ugly, it looked boiled and unappetizing. The taste was just okay. The topping on it was notable. The waitress didn't help us at all when ordering. We weren't bowled over with the food, although it was noted the meat in the ramen was high level.
