Best ever in queens I only go here for poke now Sushi is so fresh Sauce is amazing I wish everyone can stop by and just try it out Highly recommend the burrito with mayo and spicy mayo sauce

Two Poke Bowl 2 proteins (eel and ahi tuna)

This location is not far from the 30th Ave., Subway station in Astoria. It's also located near other poke places in the area so it definitely has competition. Something that stood out about this place is it has menus that you can fill out and hand over to them as opposed to staring at all the selections at the counter and trying to make up your mind (while also figuring out what some of the items are). I found myself making good use of these menus, by contemplating all the options listed and googling when needed. I opted for the poke burrito bowl and it was very filling! The portions were huge! Will definitely stop by again.

This a solid poke spot. They could do a bit better with their interior (it is a bit dark in there and lacks brightness). I ordered a poke burrito with spicy salmon and spicy tuna with several toppings. The burrito was wrapped perfectly and tasted fresh. The fish could have a bit more seasoning and flavor but it is still a very good poke burrito.

Build your own bowl (salmon, ahi tuna, scallops) with assorted toppings

My partner and I ordered takeout from here and we both opted to build our own. We both got more than one protein. I wanted to try out their salmon and ahi tuna with an add on of scallops (I hadn't tried scallops as sashimi before though I've had it in rolls). They had a large number of toppings, some included, some for an extra charge. I chose things like nori, corn, crunchy topping, tomatoes, kale (supposedly blanched) and even decided to go a bit luxe and treat myself to avocado. When the food arrived, I felt like the bowl was decently full so it was expected value and the ingredients (especially the fish) overall were pretty fresh. The scallops were mini scallops. I didn't end up loving them as sashimi (I felt like I could only have a few or it'd be too much but my partner loved them). The kale felt a bit out of place (I was more curious initially) and unfortunately it was not cooked so it was just raw kale in the bowl. For these reasons I'd avoid getting the kale unless you like it raw, (which some people do! It was just misleading since it said blanched in the ordering menu). Overall we enjoyed our meal from them and would order again (or try in person). Value is solid and the food tastes fresh!

Poke My Way with 2 proteins (~$14 on Uber Eats).

Ordered: Poke My Way with 2 proteins (~$14 on Uber Eats): with brown rice, salmon, ahi tuna, sriracha aioli & wasabi aioli, sweet onion, green onion, cucumber, edamame, hijiki seaweed, seaweed salad, crab salad, avocado, pickled ginger, masago, sesame seeds, garlic crisps, onion crisps, and wonton crisps. Aya's take: Back for my monthly poke fix. The bowl was presented well and everything tasted fresh. All the flavors of the bowl blended together great. I appreciate that they have all the toppings on Uber Eats (I know there are some issues with other delivery platforms). Not many poke spots in Astoria, but Poke Burrito does the job!

A symphony of flavor.

First let me say that I have never officially dined in. We only ordered delivery and delivery is timely and on point. The freshest ingredients. As if I just picked them myself. The flavors are amazing and come together beautifully to tie all the ingredients together making one cohesive dish. All of the options that you're offered are plentiful and offer best supporting roles to their protein stars. My favorites are the veggie gyoza, though they can stand to be either less boiled or slightly seared as the texture leaves more to be desired. They are a bit on the mushy side but excellent nonetheless. Burritos, bowls, whatever you desire. Build them wisely and devour them. The more you build, the higher chance of leftovers!

Mar 22 - Make your own Poke Bowl w/ tuna + avocado- 4/5. $13

Enjoy fast, fresh, and affordable Poke bowls? This is the spot! Have only been once so far, but will surely be back!! KEY TAKEAWAYS: - SUSHI YOUR OWN WAY - A really good and fresh make your own bowl option. I chose fresh cilantro, tuna for my protein, + a number of topping options including assorted veggies, seaweed salad, and crunch options. Love the unlimited toppings and sauces. Added avocado for $1 so total was $13 - very good value for quality and was so fast. Also love that you can mix rice and lettuce for a base. - IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITY - Wish lettuce option was something other than romaine. Personally, not a huge romaine fan and seems a bit of an odd choice for an otherwise quality meal. I think spring mix or arugula would be great option. - FREEBIES - Lots of great sauce options at no extra cost & organic brown rice at no extra charge.

Good fast casual poke place! They offer a variety of toppings including some unique ones like macadamia nuts, quinoa, rice crisps. The bowls come out quick and are packed! Nothing fancy inside, but that's not really what you're here for anyway. Drinks are mostly just sodas- wish they had a tap.

Poke My Way with 2 Proteins

Ordered via GrubHub for delivery. Overall, the price is great for the size of the bowl and the ingredients but I felt like something was missing compared to PokeWorks. The spicy salmon is also chopped very small instead of whole chunks. Wasn't a fan of this. I also didn't particularly like the house sauce - too gingery. I wish they had something more like Umami Shoyu. They also followed all instructions. I can't say it was bad, but I wasn't as satisfied post dinner. Definitely cheaper than most places though!

Hard to believe this place would get any negative reviews. Thought I'd give my two cents on what I would easily consider the best bargain in Astoria. Any true sushi enthusiast understands the wide spectrum of restaurants serving raw fish. From the lunch special take out places that satisfies your craving for ~$15, to the $120 omakase seats, and the $35 AYCE spots in between, the point is that you get what you pay for. Poke in general is interesting in that it hits the same spots that sushi does, and depending on the restaurant, can be a huge bargain for the price. And that's where Poke Burrito shines. For $10, I could get 2 maki rolls at the regular sushi joint. At poke burrito, I get what's worth about 5 regular roll's worth of raw fish, the seaweed/crab salad taste, edamame bites, and all the other toppings mixed in spicy mayo beautifully on top of the mountain of sushi rice they serve. If you aren't happy with the quality/quantity/variety of flavors you're getting at this place for the price, I can say with 100% confidence that you're either picking the wrong bowl or making it wrong. And that's not on the restaurant. Keep up the strong work, Poke Burrito!

Tasty food, big portions, very healthy, and cheapest poke in the area. They are my go to for poke that doesn't break the bank. 5 stars!

I will say that the spicy mayo is a must for the dressing because once I didn't get it, and it didn't hit the same. Still good, but not its full potential for me. I also always get the cubed fish and not mashed. Maybe they acted on previous review's feedbacks. The portion is so generous too for the price. The ratio of fish to rice is great I don't find myself with a lot of rice leftover at the end with no fish. Anytime I'm craving a quick, sushi meal, I just order here instead of other places for rolls because the quality and quantity is unmatched. LIC is lucky we have this neighborhood gem! I've never been in store. But delivery is always fast! I always order the poke bowl. I had a friend who tried their burrito and she didn't like it but I told her to try the bowl, and she liked it and surprised at the portion! I originally was going to get a small Poke Your Way bowl, but when I saw how small it is I decided to go for regular size. It includes to proteins (I chose tuna and salmon) and I chose just salad as my base. Great portion size and a lot of topping options. I chose 2 sauces on the side Spicy Serrano Aioli (very spicy, I only dipped my fork in it to put a little on my bowl at a time) O.G. Shoyu Sauce - great mixed in, though maybe just a little saltier than I prefer. The staff preparing my order was friendly and very helpful with answering my questions about the bowl and toppings. Plenty of seating inside shared by both Pokeworks and Spot. Bonus - they offer 15% off for healthcare workers and first responders, and also offer a discount for Astoria Orangetheory members.
