I knew it was going to be great from that second I stepped in the door! You order at the counter and they serve you right up on a sheet pan. I chose the baby back ribs. All I can say is oh WOW! Glad I wore my stretchy pants! I tried 3 of the handmade sauces those are all worth the try. I didn't have room to eat more ribs to try the 4th sauce. The meat fell clean off the bone and didn't have to nibble bits off the bone. I picked the potato salad and Mac n' cheese for sides. The potato salad was really good. This was a convenient stop near I95 and I'd bookmarked it as a "hot new" place to try. So we stopped for lunch. You order at the counter and carry your own tray to the table. Fountain drinks are coke products -- self serve -- with lots of choices to mix and match. Caffeine free Diet Coke with vanilla! Yes! The smoked salmon intrigued me so I ordered that and a side of Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich Carolina style and a side of roadhouse beans. Each came on a paper lined tray with a few dill pickle chips. The salmon was quite good. A nice size meaty filet with a smoky flavor. I just didn't expect it to be served cold. The Mac and cheese was okay. I liked the crusty parts. Wish it had been served hotter temp wise. I tried the roadhouse beans which turned out to be a slightly sweet mix of different beans with celery (? Not sure). They were okay but guess I'm a traditionalist re: Boston style baked beans. My husband really liked his moist pulled pork sandwich -- it was topped with cole slaw (the "Carolina" style part). They have two BBQ sauces on the table -- mild and hot. What a surprise this was. Pigsty is one of the first BBQ joints I have been to in PBC since moving to the county four years ago that has amazing BBQ. I used to frequent a lot of BBQ joints when I lived in Fort Lauderdale because there were more than a few good ones. PBC I couldn't say the same for until I found this place that just opened. Their pulled pork is mouth-watering, juicy and succulent. Their burnt ends are bloody intense and to die for. I've never had something that just burst with so much flavor and tantalized my palate for such a long time. Their Blackout sauce is also intensely tasty. A very cool interior as well, very laid back, with a very down-to-earth and chill service staff that are friendly and accommodating, while Grateful Dead tunes play in the background. This is one of those special little hole in the wall spots that excels at great reasonably priced food It is a family owned business that takes pride in amazing BBQ . I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans. It had just the right amount of smoke and was tender and delicious. My friend loved the ribs. Even the pickles are homemade. I will say it is positively scary looking from the sidewalk before walking inside. The windows are small and covered in paper. I thought I was either walking into a biker bar and about to duck before a beer bottle went flying or maybe Jabba was holding court. Instead just suck it up buttercup and walk in the door. This was some of the worst food we have had in a long time. Brisket slices were mostly a big glob of fat. Pulled pork was just not good and there was a big piece of what looked like skin in the middle of the pile. The sauces are not good and neither are the baked beans . Did takeout, but on Saturday evening we could definitely have eaten inside and been distant. Friendly staff/owners. Brisket had a beautiful smoke ring, crusty spices and that nice red line along the meat. Great smoke flavor, but maybe a tad dry. Could be that it was takeout, and not eaten immediately after cutting, so I'll try it again. And the leftovers made amazing Hash this morning!! St. Louis style ribs were delicious, juicy and will ensure my return to Pigsty. I liked the vinegary collards, decent Mac and cheese, delicious beans (nice spice) and over the top sweet potato soufflé. Cornbread is a bit dry and jalapeño bacon corn bread sounds better than it is. There is some chopped bacon and jalapeño sprinkled on top --would prefer it mixed in so it is not such an assault. Got a recommendation for this place from a friend and decided to stop in when I was in West Palm Beach. Luckily it was a Friday and the service Stromae on Mondays and Fridays here. From the minute I walked in here I was in love. The manager was on duty and personally attended to me and I felt like I was in his home. He answered all my questions about the different meats and gave me a double pastrami combo plates with coleslaw and greens. It's not easy to make a good pastrami and even harder to make a great pastrami. This pastrami was great. The right amount of seasonings, moist, and a slight Smoky flavor. The place is not cheap at $14 for combo plate but portion was extremely generous. I happened to meet the chef while I was there and he took extreme pride in his work. The place is basically a hole in the wall, however, this is some of the best pastrami have eaten in South Florida. The greens were very good as well and the coleslaw was ordinary. If you're up allowed you to give a half star I would've given this place 4 1/2 stars. Between the Decour, service, and quality of food this place is great. Highly recommended. We've been going back once every couple weeks because it's the best BBQ in Palm Beach county.. This family works their butts off to provide great food, and the people they're hiring to help, especially Andre is one of the sweetest guys you'll meet - and the FOOD, OMG GREAT. All my neighbors are agreeing with us. Check their specials each day. Sat specials offering Dino Beef Ribs and Brisket Burnt Ends are stellar. Many Saturdays it gets busy because they have local live music which we also love dinner and a show. But last night was nice a quiet with steady take out orders, but only a few tables full so it was very comfortable environment. We really like it both ways there. The Food is off the charts! My gal tried the BBQ chicken dinner, and she was raving about it later that evening and next morning. The pulled pork is great there too, but I also go with the Beef Ribs, and brisket normally. Many people get the very generous and delicious ribs. You've gotta have the collared greens; by far best we've ever had. Omg. I am a Texas transplant to south Florida and have yet to find barbecue that tasted like it's supposed to in over ten years, until now. The brisket (and chicken!) is smoked to melty tender juicy perfection, the cornbread is just a touch sweet instead of the corn-flavored cake some places serve. Coleslaw was awesome and not too sweet or a puddle of vinegar, max and cheese was gooey cheesy deliciousness, Texas bbq sauce was packed with flavor (they have KC and Carolina options too), and ALL OF IT tastes like it's homemade... because it is. Dark horse MVP was the brisket chili which was a last minute addition to my order... just the right amount of spicy and sooo delicious. After I ate, i got to go orders for my whole family. My husband and I decided to visit Pigsty the day before Father's Day so we could beat the crowds. Tom and Rob greeted us like old friends when we came in even though this was our first time. I ordered the BBQ St. Louis ribs with Mac and cheese. The ribs were moist and fell off the bone and the mac and cheese were extra creamy. My husband got the Pit Master platter with pulled pork, brisket, pastrami, burned ends and chicken. We tried both corn breads and my mouth exploded with the buttery maple sugar filling. Wow! What great flavors! The beans were chili delicious! The meats were all moist and juicy but the star were the burnt ends! We ordered way too much but it was worth it to get a taste of everything. I'll have to admit when my husband and I first pulled up to Pigsty we were hesitant. The outside certainly doesn't represent what awaits inside. After doing a double check on yelp we headed on in. For starters we were warmly welcomed by the staff as soon as we entered, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Order placing is done at the counter and then delivered to your table. As for the food all I can say is wow! Everything was awesome. Sandwiches were stacked with tender brisket and juicy sausage. The baked beans were some of the best I have ever tasted and the Mac n cheese was smooth and creamy. The dinning room is covered with flat screens making it a great spot to grab a beer and watch Sunday football. There is even a kids play area to keep them busy while the adults can relax. Funky place that has live music on weekends. You order from a counter. Everything is a la carte. A little nervous when they opened a cryovac bag containing the ribs, they are St louis, very meaty. They serve BBQ warm ,not hot. We were told it is served at the same temperature as in the BBQ competitions. I ordered the brisket, very good and no fat. I also ordered the smoked wings which were deep fried, just ok. My wife liked the mac & cheese and I had the baked beans, good. They serve on trays and you pick up a plate and utensils if you want. Each side we tried was cold and bland, including the mac and cheese and sweet potato soufflé. We also ordered both cornbreads which turned out to be cold, sweet cakes. As important as the meat is for a BBQ joint, the tea is what anchors it. NO big styrofoam cups here, little paper cups with every refill being monitored. We came in for lunch and ordered the brisket sandwich, the pit masters choice (brisket & pulled pork sandwich), a side of mac n cheese, and a small chicken gumbo. The staff was super friendly, and the owner came by to see how our food was while we were eating (and brought us a sample of donuts too!) which I thought was very personable. The food was delicious and they had so many choices. The pulled pork sandwich and the ribs in particular were amazing. This place is fairly new I believe and I have to say that I was generally impressed with the quality of the 'que here. The star of the show was the big pig. Generous portion of above average pulled pork, sausage, and bacon on a bun. I put pickles on this beast and mixed the spicy sauce and the vinegar sauce. I was a very, very tasty sandwich that I would definitely recommend trying. I tried the ribs and they were pretty good. The brisket was a little thin sliced for my tastes. I feel like when you slice it that thin, it dries things out a bit. The Mac and cheese was very good. The potato salad was just ok for me. The gooey butter cake was spot on perfect. Delicious. Get it. Service was friendly and prices were decent. If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be to diversify the sauce options. We originally came to see our friends son play in the band but decided to make a night of it and have dinner. The parking was pretty easy and a standard parking lot. It was easy to get in and out of the plaza. There were a few waiters and waitresses walking around but they weren't really there to provide you with service. You walk up an order and then wait for your food at the counter and bring it to your own table. The macaroni and cheese was delicious as well as the barbecue chicken. My son ate his entire pulled pork sandwich. I didn't have the coleslaw but my friend did and she said it was tasty. Because there was a band playing it was a bit loud but that's to be expected. There's a cool area for kids to play back in the corner where they have all kinds of neat stuff. It was great because we were able to sit there and enjoy the music while the kids played. We will most definitely return. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars because the bathroom was dirty and it was no toilet paper. read more

First time here. The brisket was good and tender, so was the rib sampler. The sandwich $7.50 and the sampler was also $7.50, water is $3 a bottle. Tried the onion rings and wouldn't get them again. Ok so we finally made it to Pigsty!!! Is this the best BBQ in the world? No. Is it the best BBQ in Boynton? Damn right skippy! They have all kinds of sandwiches and sides, however we were not here to play games. We wanted BBQ! We ordered a slab of pork ribs, 1lb of brisket, collard greens and corn bread. These are my go to items when assessing the quality of a BBQ place. First of all the brisket. This is where a lot of places fail miserably. They give you some chopped up meat in a container covered in BBQ sauce and call it brisket. Not at Pigsty! This is the real deal. Very good flavor on the meat, smokey, fatty and delicious. Next the ribs. Ribs are a bit more tricky. Any place can make "decent" ribs by covering them in BBQ sauce and putting them on the grill for a few min. However the real test is how do they taste without any sauce? The ribs at Pigsty were delicious as is. Very smokey with a nice crust on them and the perfect texture. Their BBQ sauce is also pretty good if you want to use it. The mild sauce is not spicy at all so, based on other reviews, they may have fixed that. Collard greens and cornbread were also on point. They were also kind enough to bring us some of their mini donuts to try. Honestly... I wish they hadn't. Now I will have to order them every time!! Sooo good!! The place itself is a bit small but there weren't many people there when we went and the line wasn't too bad to order. The live band was a bit too loud for the space so you couldn't really talk to anyone at the table, however after a bit they were asked to lower it a bit and they did, still a little on the loud side though. Yes the meat is prepared and wrapped to help keep it moist. If it was all straight out of the smoker every time it would be a 5 star, however that may simply not be practical based on their traffic and how long it takes to make good BBQ like this. All that being said this will be our go to BBQ spot for the foreseeable future. read more
