Don't be fooled by the facade or dated ambiance. It is throw back to the good old days. The service was excellent and the pizza was really good. The crust was between than I expected. My wife said there was a Pietro's Pizza in her town when she was a kid and that it brought back memories of when her family would go there. Pepperoni pizza had very little flavor, very disappointed. We ordered it with extra sauce and cheese.

Don't order the "lasagna", mine was Just Spaghetti sauce poured over ONE small noodle and drowning in an inch of greasy cheese. My Family has grown up with Pietro's in Hood River and have witnessed the decline over the decades, and just like everyone else that has gone cooperate they have gone with cheaper food and charge higher prices. I went to this pizza place in hood river Oregon called pietros pizza and it was a horrible experience to say the least, the pizza I ordered was burnt and so I told them I wanted another one cuz it was burnt and also I or the salad bar all you can eat and afterwards they told me I can only go to salad bar one time even though it was all you can eat they claim that they changed their policy as of a year ago but then why would they sell you all you can eat salad bar and the workers and manager was very rude and their token machine did not work their bathroom was out of order and their game machines weren't working so it was a bad experienc, go to the one in Salem it's a lot better experience. read more

Hands down, best pizza. They know what they're doing. The crust is perfection. So good every time. I grew up taking many trips out to hood river and every visit we would come. We also go to the Milwaukee locations all the time. Lots of great options. If you can handle the noisy dining room, you'll have a great pizza. The service is always great. read more

The place seems to be stuck in the 2000's. I did use to love this place but not having unlimited salad anymore kills it for me.

As our first time at this pizza palace we were not disappointed! It was so fun for us and the kids. It's a huge building with ample seating, game room for kids to run off to, and old time salad bar that is literally numerous trip all you can eat. We ordered a large half little Italy/great northwest! Delicious!!! Crust is thin to normal. One of the best pizzas I've had. The kids loved it and they stayed entertained! If we lived closer this is definitely a place I'd throw a childrens birthday party! The kids won lots of tickets and had many prize choices to pick from. It's been soooo long since I've gone to a Pietro's Pizza and the one of the last few left is in Hood River, OR. There are many varieties of pizza there, it was very hard to choose. The crust was light and fluffy with the flavorful toppings. A great selection of local brews along with a large game room and to top it all off a salad bar. Friendly staff too. This review is for delivery service only. Called in a delivery order while staying at the nearby Best Western Hood River Inn. Since the hotel isn't offering takeout at their restaurant, and we're traveling with dogs, we decided pizza delivery was the next best thing. While talking with the employee over the phone, she informed me the delivery driver was about to take their hour dinner break, so the pizza would probably take about 2 hours. I called at 4pm, and 6pm was fine with us. What a surprise when the pizza showed up at our room at 4:40! Our only gripe is they didn't bring any plates or napkins to give us. Fantastic old-school pizza parlor. Service was good. Staff is tired I can tell after a super long and busy day. Nice tap list. Pizza is like a slightly thicker Round Table style. Tastes a lot like Round Table actually. So much of Hood River is posh, boosche upscale dining. I love that too, but sometimes after a long hiking day, I just want that old school pizza parlor jam with a pitcher of beer, salad bar and really good, non-pretentious pizza like you had after baseball games as a kid. I remember Pietro's from decades ago. It was fun, it was a nw institution, and the pizza was good. Well on the bright side the pizza is still good, a decent crust, plenty of toppings and a good flavor. Plus it was a reasonable amount of time to cook and be delivered to us. Disappointingly the customer service was atrocious. It took forever to get our order in, a good 15 minutes. Lord only knows how long the family in front of us had been there. Plus the roughly 70 minutes we were there no one bused any tables and there were a good dozen that were dirty from the time we walked in to when we left. Ok, so my rating is based on the pure excitement my friend and I had to eat here because they were the ONLY pizza place serving pizza during the 100 degree heat wave. The AC was cold, the prices were reasonable, and the pizza was decent. Is the ambiance epic? No. It's definitely geared towards families with kids. The arcade noises were super loud/obnoxious.
