Cute little theater - friendly staff! The popcorn is pricey but huge and they serve alcoholic beverages

Went here for their movie theater to see the Minecraft movie. Admission was only $8 for all ages before 6pm. The seats in the theater are small compared to a regular movie theater, however, most seats were empty. We were maybe 1 of about 5 families or so. They had a snack area with affordable snacks and we made out pretty good compared to what we would have spent at a movie theater. The only downside is they don't sell nachos. The staff were friendly and admission is waived if you buy a movie ticket. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. Parking was super easy. read more

This was my go to arcade for my kids and nephews. It's close to him and super affordable. Today, when we were there the place was basically empty. It was me, my 2 kids and my sister and her 2 kids. There was another couple with their kid, so the place wasn't packed. We got food at the concession stand and were chillin at the tables with our kids. After eating, our kids had a sugar rush and decided to race up and down where the tables were. We figured since the place was vacant it was totally fine given that it's an arcade and kids typically run around there anyways. My sister took the kids up to get prizes after they were done playing games and overheard one of the employees talking bad about us, pointing my sister out to one of his coworkers saying how we just let our kids run around. I'm sorry, but if that was such a big issue we could've had an employee approach us and told us nicely that it wasn't okay. we were there January 6th, the employee that was talking about to us was a bigger dude with blonde curly hair pretty sure his name tag was Riley and he was talking to his coworker who was a girl wearing a green sweater. If they don't like kids being crazy running around then you probably should not be working in a place where the customer base is mostly kids. It definitely makes me not feel welcomed with my kids and makes me not want to come back anymore. read more

My go-to arcade for the kids. Even though Wunderland doesn't use coins anymore (that was super fun), the kids always have a good time here. 10 bucks can buy you an hour or so, and you can opt to purchase a ticket for VR or Laser Tag. Is it kinda dingy? Of course, all these little kids running around, touching everything, leaving smudged fingerprints and greasy popcorn marks buuuuut that's to be expected. How can anyone keep up with that lol. There are concessions stands and you can earn tickets for prizes. It's a good time! Go on, take the kids, let them go wild for a bit, and join em why doncha. Play a game of air hockey or race each other on dirt bikes. See a movie if the mood strikes! read more

The expanding they have done is incredible. This is a fun and affordable place to play games. It's loud and stinky but what can you expect. The prizes are so bad, but if you just go for fun then it's worth it. There are many choices of games to play. read more

Unfortunately this location has a new policy that requires a picture to be taken for the go kart waiver for "identification purposes". I will not consent to my 8 year old daughter's picture to be taken for a ridiculous waiver. There was also an older employee who was talking to my 13 yo daughter who promptly left when I came by. Came over with my 4 years old nephew on a Friday afternoon. Lots of activities around. Racing games. Chance games. There is a movie theater here also. They sell snacks here. There is car racing tracks also. Kinda fun. You can spend hours here playing. read more

Awesome arcade! All machines are working and they're nickel credits! Might as well call it Nickel City :) we road the GoKarts which were super fun. Loaded our arcade card with $20 and those $20 lasted us a long time! They have a staff constantly cleaning the machines. read more

This is not a family friendly business. If you're going to run a facility like this it should be warm and welcoming. Smile. Practice patience. You can allow kids to be kids while maintaining a safe environment. Staff all present the attitude of someone who should not be working with or around kids. They all come off as if they hate their jobs. It's givin Catholic boarding school from 1923. When it should be more like Daddy Day Care (the end of the movie ). Laser tag was fun, the space for that is excellent. The staff obviously hate their job. Go Kart area was a great addition, I think the man giving instructions was over it. Maybe they should rotate people or something. Concessions are a step below those at high school football games. Prize area, I watched a mom and maybe 3 year old walk directly up to the counter as there was no line. The two pictured, thee biggest ____'s (you fill in the blank) immediately double team her to try and make her walk all the way around. She says "there's no one in line". Their response was basically so what. The tone was disrespectful, I was ready to tag in and defend her and baby girl. But she handle it like a champ. They could have something great here, with new ownership/leadership/employees. All in all I would not return to this location, definitely not worth the hour drive we took. read more

They have removed the theatre and added go carts. Still in construction and not in use yet, looks like it's going to be a pretty good sized track when they are done. The games are still playable and the construction is not in the way of enjoying them. I'm a fan of wunderlands retro games and this one is bigger then most locations. read more

We went here for my daughter's 13th birthday, which should have been special, but there were some definite problems that this place needs to work on. We called ahead and found that there were no specific birthday packages. You're just welcome to come in and pick a table, and no outside food or drinks. That's fine and understood, but the problem came with the go-karts waivers, which need to be completed by the parents. There wasn't any way for parents to do this ahead of time through the website. We were told to come in to complete it. So...we stated in the invites that a waiver needs to be completed at arrival. We waited near the front doors and even caught each parent who arrived (which wasn't easy) and each and every parent had trouble with the lengthy registration and waiver. The instructions weren't clear, and a couple of the waivers ended up being made for the parent vs the child go-carting, with it only becoming obvious after the fact, at one of the 2 self registering stands by the doors. So we had to walk each parent into the wait line, to speak to someone at the front desk (where they were helped, or assured that things were fine). The parents left, and we realized we needed to quickly get in line for the go-karts (and had to change the ticket times for one child, so that they could all go together. After waiting in that line for the specified time, the attendants told us that two of the children couldn't ride because their waivers (which the parents patiently stood in line for, and spoke to the front desk) were incorrect. Two very unhappy kids, and we all got out of line, and thankfully the manager worked with us and refunded the money. We wasted more than an hour of the party, so I do not recommend Wunderland for such an event. The kids did enjoy the arcade. We also paid for Laser Tag and waited for quite a while for it. Someone outside of our party had to go ask for a worker to come and start it off, so the coordination of the staff is also questionable. Finally, we ordered food and drinks from the snack area. We ordered a drink for each child and a few snacks, but the staff seemed bothered, as we had to quickly get information from all six kids. We were trying to make the experience as good as we possibly could, under the circumstances. I know that at least a few kids and their parents won't be returning. Sadly, I feel that Wunderland could do a lot better than this. read more

12/1/24 My nephew had a birthday on Dec. 1 2024. He had a really good time. We were there for a few hours. I asked a girl at the counter. My nephew has a severe peanut and other allergy to where he needs an epidural pen. We asked if we could take a pumpkin pie that was made specifically for him in. A very small pie. Girl at the counter said she'd go ask the manager. He said yes. We were so very greatful about it. My brother and I started to head outside to get the pie. Before we did my brother said let's check in and confirm with the manager for sure. He told us of course and we said thank you for accommodating my nephew. We bring the pie in. Sing happy birthday and during then a worker Jenny or whatever her name was told us to stop and embarrassed us in front of everyone singing. She said we could not do that. I told her the manager said we could and we got permission already. The manager who was some young guy acted confused and said he didn't say a big cake. We said it was a small pie. He acted so scared and told us he did say we could bring it in. I told him about the worker and he did nothing to make it better. He acted like he had nothing to do with it. We felt so disrespected. We thoroughly enjoyed the updates to the building. The new electric go kart track is very fun. The place felt cleaner, except for the eating area, which always seems to be in need of care. The rest was not cheap, but worth the prices. read more

Wunderland is a surprisingly good arcade / theater / laser tag arena / and VR experience. Its signage indicates it is a nickel arcade, but many of the games cost well over a nickel to play. They also offer a "hologate VR" gaming station, which costs between $3 and $4 per round. This was a lot more fun than I'd expected. The arcade is small, and most of the games are kid-friendly. Many are "redemption" games that dispense tickets which can be redeemed for prizes. The laser tag arena is big, multi-level, and and has several hidden items to find and try to zap. Doing so leaves players exposed, so this really heightens the challenge. Many in my group are avid laser tag enthusiasts, and each said the arena was by far they best they'd ever played. Wunderland makes for an inexpensive and enjoyable experience. read more

Took my 9 year old here for his birthday last week. Last place you can make $10 last quite a while!! We all had a blast! So many games to play. I didn't even realize it was a theater too until we were leaving! The concessions were a little spendy but considering it's a theater it makes a little more sense! This a fun cheap place to go out with your family or a fun laid back date. Just know it can get crowed with lots of kids. Maybe go later in the evening.They upgrade and now have swipe card instead of nickles. This location has movie for about $4 and Laser tag for like $5 buck as well have VR experience. They have a lot of ticket games where you can get little prize. It isnt like a Dave&Buster but it cheap and fun. Lazer Tag arena is actually really big and nice and two floors. Would really recommend this. I think it said it 5500 square foot arena. It a old miner theme arena. VR experience is fun and a unique experience. Came here for my Boo Bears Birthday. She's a Pickle, so it was a big dill. Wunderland is awesome..... for kids. And yes. I still play video games at the age of 52. Get over it! So it wasn't to bad. I found some entertaining games and was able to escape the non stop screaming of children having a fun overload. My boo had fun. She shared cake with her friends. Played games and got lots of presents. Her Mommie looked a little ..... tired but it was fun for everybody. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves but after a couple hours of overload fun. We had to go. great place to bring kids or friends if you hammered or puffin tough. It's got midgets, swings, full bar... Wait wrong place. It's like a crappy family fun center, has new games, cheap movies, laser tag that's the BEST I have ever seen.. It can handle 60 people with room. Must be as big as a 2 story football field no lie. Have discount days and a miler for free entry and nikels (today we got in free and 10$ on the card to play ) use cards now no more coins. The arcade part of this place is great for kids aged 5-10. The prices on snacks is a little crazy, but that's to be expected I suppose. $20 on a game card will keep a kid playing for a log time. I like this place because of the huge variety of games. From the classic drop claws for prizes to team shooting games like Jurassic Park, or even driving games. The layout is a little wonky if you're trying to keep track of a toddler but still pretty doable. Staff is nice. read more

Wunderland is NOT SO WONDERFULl! The family convened for an 8-year-olds birthday party. First off note they offer no food - just licorice, popcorn, and soda. The family expected dinner, something akin to Chuck E Cheese, but were left to starve. Suddenly they wanted $200 to reserve a table - we just parked at a free table. Then they demanded that we could not have cake unless it was at the $200 table. We found someone to share their $200 table so we could have cake. But the worst was the ice cream - THEY CONFISCATED AN 8-YEAR-OLDS BIRTHDAY ICE CREAM! Tears from the little ones aged 2 and 4. And after all this a day later they had the nerve to charge our credit card for the table. We just called the bank to dispute the charge and ended it quietly. Never-ever again will my family (or anyone I relay this story to) darken the doors of this rip-off establishment that left the children in tears. read more

Went for my son's birthday and my 4 year old daughter and I found the teddy bear claw machine open. As tempted as I was to grab a stuffed animal, I went the noble route & notified staff. Five of them come on by and I respectfully ask if my daughter can have one of the bears. The biggest guy out of the bunch stated we can have it for 800 points!!! EIGHT HUNDRED. Seriously? I understand they're running a business and don't want to lose money that way and yes, I should be teaching my kids to do good things without compensation. But given we didn't steal & immediately notified them (when myself and many other people could've gotten a free bear) and then they proceeded to deny my FOUR year old a stuffed animal.. Just discovered this place and it is pretty cool. I don't understand why there is a door fee though when people are spending money on the games. All games are a nickel but most take 4-8 nickels to play so they add up quick but hey five bucks definately buys some time having fun with the kiddo! read more

This place is stupid. I paid for a party which was not a big deal but they way they have everything set up is so confusing. I paid for 15 people's admission and then tickets for the games and they still made them pay when the rest of the party came. Also I was not allowed to go out to my car without having to pay to come back in when I had already paid. You are not allowed to bring outside drink or food in even though this is a birthday party and they don't even serve food here. I highly do not recommend this place if you are having a party. This one is not our closest- but boy does it beat the one we always go to in cleanliness, space, activities, prices and CUSTOMER CARE. It was not the locations best dsy being Spring Break and loss of internet, which meant cash only. For my boys and a friend brought along for a 9th bday present this equated to HUGE disappointment. Our bank is a 35 minute drive away from this location. The gal at the desk was joy of all things arcade. She made their experience PERFECT. I did not want, nor ask for anything. She was young and with a calmness I wish for aged adults. The boys enjoyed lazer tag (the reason for our 40 minute treck to THIS location) twice while waiting for the internet provider to resolve the connection. Unfortunately, it was still not connected. The first game was a bummer as the vest did not work. Although, I have no doubt if we had paid (as we intended) they would of made it right by offering another round for the three. Thursday is discount lazerv Tag day... FUN! We took my only $4 in cash and divided it among the three boys for play cards. Not a lot of excitement in that... Then the nice gal approached me offering a movie, popcorn and soda to each! The two older boys played the $4. I watched Paddington 2 with my 8 year old. What a GREAT clean cinema. I had no idea! Plus, super cheap to view on Tuesdays... both 2D and 3D. I have been texting today answering what we have been up too. I realized how impressed I am with this establishment and staff I am actually taking on YELPING! We will be back here OVER the far closer Milwaukie location. Loved it! So clean, the employees were amazing, attentive and so kind to my kids when they were deciding on how to use their tickets. I was struggling to hold all their ticket balls and two seconds after my kids handed them to me an employee was right there with a bag for me to carry them in. From walking in to leaving, it was a great experience and that's not always the experience with three kids. read more

If I could give this hole a 0 stars I would, went out for my medication and came back 5 mins later, with the same water bottle I came in with and the staff attempted to make me pay for admission again and no water bottle. This place is great! My girlfriend and I visited this location to let our inner child out on the arcade games while on a road trip to Pdx and taking a break from our studies. We've only been to a penny arcade in San Francisco which offered antique-like games. We've also been to other quite expensive arcades in the LA area such as Dave and Busters and "Round 1" which easily costs $20-60 for a few hours of fun.This arcade allowed us to play about 2-3hours of games with $15 worth of nickels. I particularly enjoyed doing the "hopscotch" game which allowed me to get a little cardio burn and win a bunch of tickets on each try to redeem on some cute keychain prices. If this arcade is this much fun for us 25-26 year old adults, I'm sure it's budget friendly and more entertaining for children. I wish there were more budget-friendly arcades and I hope this one stays in business for a long time. :) read more
