I highly recomend NOT using this company unless you want your items deliver very late (passed contract date) and broken. And WILL NOT return phone calls from for after they have your items. And don't mind them telling you that you move is inconvenient for them. We scheduled a move from Indiana to Texas. Frank worked well with us during the move out. We moved out on June 23 and 24. Out move in date was scheduled for July 7. I contacted Frank a few days later and told him we needed to update the move in time as the original home owners were unable to leave. So he advises us to send an email so its on record. This email stated that the 24 of July is OK to move in. I let the dispatch know that we would need a few day notice before the arrival if it was coming after that Wednesday (26) so we could arrange someone to be there as there was a good chance due to our work schedules we would not be. We did not here from dispatch on Monday so I called to remind them we are leaving for a week and would need to arrange someone to be at our house. I called again on the 26 and left a message (I got no return call) and I called on the 28 and was told that dispatch would call me that evening. (I received no call) I called again on the 31 and talked to Michael and he stated that this job is very hard and it an inconvenience for us to deliver the items. (BTW it is an inconvenience for me to pay you almost 12k but i payed it and i payed it early before the delivery came.) He did advise they are loading the truck and we would get a text when they will arrive. We were told it would be Wednesday afternoon. The truck arrived on Thursday and we asked if they know when the next truck is coming. We were told by the 2 persons that unloaded most likely they would be back Monday or Tuesday. I changed my schedule and took Monday to Wednesday off to someone would be at the house. We called and left messages on Monday and got no reply. We called on Tuesday and finally got a text reply from Michael after 5pm CST saying he did not know when he will get it scheduled but most likely the end of the month. This is Well past out contract of 21 business days for the move (that is on the 21 of Aug.) Michael texted us that he would let us know on the 21st when they might be able to get the truck to us. I called on the 25 of Aug (now 4 days past the max contract date) I made a call to the company again. I received a call back from Frank. He constantly swore at me and tells me did not care about the move he only wanted to keep his job so he was not going to talk to management about the screw up. He said it would be at least a few more days before they get to the house. (Now 6 days past the contract date of business days and 34 days since the first move in date.) On August 29 a truck arrived at 7pm. (I told them on the phone I would be leaving at 730pm to go to work so they would not be able to unload that day.) They insisted they unload the truck then. At 1am my wife kicked them out as she had to get up at 5am for work. They just unloaded the rest of the stuff in the garage and sidewalk and left with no planes to come back and many items were not put back together of carried up the stair as we paid them to do. I contacted Frank on September 18 (after I sent him an email on Aug 31) and was very rude to me when I explained how the delivery personnel did NOT put our items together and he did not care about being late. I can not recommend this company. I booked them to move the contents of a home from VA to NJ. I told them it was a sensitive situation because the person at the home was unwell. I gave them my credit card so that all costs would be billed directly to me. They said that would be fine but never adjusted their procedures to pull this through. They demanded payment at pick up which the unwell person on site was not prepared to do but had to hand give them a check which just caused this person extra stress. They never called me as the primary point of contact. The move organizer was argumentative and insulting throughout the process. It was like trying to talk to a wall or arguing with a child. Overall, there is no consistent communication standard and they are inflexible. At delivery they said that items wouldn't fit up the stairs and just left them. They, of course, fit upstairs with a little effort from others at the later time. They lost an item. When I called they seemed uninterested and I had to call several times for some guidance and action. Eventually, they sent me a form to complete. I have never heard from them again. read more

If you're looking to move, look elsewhere for movers. The salesperson "Frank" will lie and tell you everything you want to hear and once they get your items loaded they will stop keeping in contact with you and avoid your calls. What was suppose to be a 5-7 day move turned into 3 weeks. Your items will be picked up in a small truck and shipped to a warehouse for a few weeks while you wait. Even the drivers of this company said they get a ton of complaints because the scheduling is so bad and always late. Their company motto should be "Be Patient" because I heard that more than I'd like to. These guys are a fly by night outfit, with no real concern other than collecting your money. Logistics is terrible, scheduling is even worse. Late picking up, late delivery, and the contract is sketchy at best. If I could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH MOVE. read more

If I could give this company a zero I would. This is one of the worst moving experiences I've had. First off they represent they are not a broker, they picked up my items but transferred it to another moving company and acted as a broker. Also, the moving estimate was way off and blamed on me. Multiple times things went wrong, and the blame was put on myself, the customer. Their salesperson had lied to me, hung up on me, and did not return my calls many times. This company should be named Rip-off movers. Price rip off. Delivery date scam. Execution less than amateurish. Communication is close to zero. Corner cutting.They ripped me off with the price. They lied about the delivery date. They were 2 weeks late. The driver, who speaks only Russian, and so does most of those that he was communicating with back and forth, could not get my address right. So, I had to drive out 20 minutes and get him and his truck to my house. The price sky rocketed and they demanded cash on delivery. No fridge-no washer- no dryer - for two weeks! Kyle promised to compensate for the delay and for the fridge that I had to buy until my fridge arrived. They did not reinstall my TVs and I had to push them to install other appliances and furniture. My 60 inch TV is missing its stand base. They try to cut corners and they do at every chance they get. To say they are unprofessional is an understatement! I bet the ones giving them good reviews are their own people. I do not expect them to stay in business for long. read more

I hired this company for an out of state move. I gave them a 3 day window, from the 13th to the 15th, I communicated to the sales person Pierre, and Max that I gave them a 3 day window because I HAD to leave the 15th, they all noted and agreed. I received a text message from their driver the 14th saying that as planned they would drive up and meet me at the pick up location the 15th, here comes the 15th and I got another message saying that as planned they were going to be here the next day, the 16th. a day late. Now Pierre said once picked up, it goes directly to you in 5 to 7 business days, this is very very far from the reality. Pierre contacted my company the 21th of July and said that the movers were arriving to the drop off location the Following day the 22nd, My company made the payment via wire transfer and as soon as they made the payment suddenly the delivery was not going to be possible until the 28th to the 30th, you can imagine mine and my company surprise with this delay, while all of this is going my company higher ups are trying to get in touch with the owners or representatives of the company for an explanation and to complain since the extra time was costing them money, and all they were able to do was to get in touch with Pierre who toll them not to complain to him, that all of this was not costing him any money, that he didn't understand why was this job so screw up reason why he didn't want anything to do with it and to basically F themselves, now Pierre is about the worst customer representative that I ever had to deal with, his incompetence knows no boundaries and I can't even understand how a guy like that has a job. The 28th came by and all we got was another message saying that now the delivery would take place from the 1st to the 3rd and finally the stuff arrived here the 1st of August night time. So after 16 days later and thousands of dollars in hotel accommodations and fees all has come to an end. I was moving from Philadelphia to central Florida, with a move-in date of June 19. I was getting quotes from many places, and Pierre convinced me to go with pick Up Movers. Now, before I start ranting about the shoddy job Pick Up Movers did, I do want to say that Pierre was really wonderful to work with. Towards the end of our move, when I was finally getting our stuff, I was told he quit. I want to think that it was because he just couldn't stomach the lying and empty promises of the company. The deal I had with Pierre was that mine would be a direct move, i.e., the movers would come on Monday, 6/15 to pick up our things, drive directly to Florida, and deliver them on Friday 6/19 (the day we were picking up the keys). We discussed this multiple times, and each time I was promised that I had nothing to worry about and that we'd get our stuff on the 19th since ours would be the only things in the truck. Well, instead of coming on Monday, the guys doing the move showed up Saturday night (two days early) around 7:00 wanting to start loading the truck. As I wasn't even in town that night, and had not finished packing, I told them they would have to come back the next day no earlier than 10:00am. They did come back the next day, and I must say they worked really hard for the 11 hours it took to load the truck. Now cut to Thursday night, they evening before we were due to have our things delivered. I call Pick Up Movers to see what time my things will be delivered on Friday. I am told that my things are in a warehouse in New Jersey because "one of the trucks broke down" and that they will try to get us our things by Sunday. Now I did all the packing myself, and I'm quite obsessive, but I packed our things expecting them to be loaded and unloaded only once AS I WAS PROMISED, not multiple times. And I have no idea what kind of warehouse this is. Sunday comes and goes, and then I'm told by Wednesday or Thursday. Still no stuff. Then finally, they tell me that my things will be leaving NJ on Friday, and it will get to me on Monday or Tuesday. I tell them that as I'm going out of town those days, they either bring it Sunday, or it has to wait till the end of the week. I guess they didn't want to pay additional storage, so they came finally on Sunday night at 7:00pm. THIS IS NINE DAYS LATER THAN WHAT I WAS PROMISED! They did give me a $300 discount for being so late, but it actually cost us $1100 for the delay. Then to add insult to injury, there were so many broken/scratched/dented things: 1. A 32-inch TV and two computer monitors were carefully packed in a special art/mirror moving box, with protected corners, lots of large bubble wrap, etc. In addition, I had put "Fragile" stickers and "This end up" markings on the box. When the box was delivered to me, the box had been sitting on its side and all of the items were on top of each other. Upon unpacking, the TV and one monitor were broken. We had to throw out the TV; the monitor is still usable 2. Of the eight art/mirror boxes we had, all marked FRAGILE and THIS END UP, seven of them were stored and delivered on their side. 3. One very special original art work was scratched, and its expensive frame was scratched 4. Three other picture frames were scratched or dented 5. A sofa table had a big dent right in the front 6. A CD cabinet was completely destroyed 7. One of the legs on the dining room table was completely broken so the table was unusable. In addition, some paint of the side of the table had been scraped off 8. The top of a desk was dented 9. The front edge of a double dresser was dented 10. A box of my glassware, in a special glassware box and clearly marked "VERY FRAGILE", had three other boxes on top of it, but since I did such a good job packing, only two glasses were broken 11. One of our large area rugs somehow got wet at one end and is now moldy 12. The TV unit has a large dent and the finish is scratched off These are about half of the things I found. I sent an email to the company on July 4 with this list of damages, and have heard NOTHING from them. I will also be posting this review and making a complaint on Florida's BBB site. read more

I would say communication is everything! Overall, I had a very poor experience and would not recommend this company!! However, it was a learning process for me, so maybe this review will help others to be more detailed and ultimately achieve a better experience. First, it all starts with the quote. Pierre gave me the cheapest quote. Now, I had sold most of my bigger items and only had about 40 boxes to move. However, after you get your quote be sure and look diligently at the contract to see the size of boxes that the person quoting you checks. In my case they checked the small or medium boxes. I don't know about you, but I don't know of anyone who does a move with all small or medium boxes. Most of the time you have large, medium, and small boxes. This is important because the first thing the guy that moves you is going to look at is the square footage those "40" boxes will take up in his truck and check to see if it matches what the estimate on the contract was. In this case, Pierre had said that 40 boxes would fit in 200 sq feet (an oversite I missed on the contract being a first time move and only looking in the comments section that detailed the large items and the number of boxes). So immediately the movers wanted to raise the quoted price. After an hour long argument in which I raised my quoted price by 70%.....we came to an agreement....the truck was loaded. Now you would think the bad part is over but oh no. My stuff set in an unair conditioned storage unit for 5 or 6 days. After 7 days my stuff arrives. Then there was another hour long argument because the guy wanted me to sign a contract stating that everything was in good condition when they haven't even unloaded the truck yet and I was unable to confirm the condition of any of the items. Second, they again wanted to charge me another $250 to take 3 boxes up the stairs. At this point......I am so upset I have to walk away just to keep it together. I had told the guys that loaded me that I had stairs in the place I was moving into. After waiting for 7 days on my stuff, there were a handful of items broken during the move, the hours of arguing do to upcharging or the insistence that you sign things that could not be verified, and the general feeling that I got was something to the effect of: lets bid it low, get the job, we show up and the client has to use us at this point so lets upcharge everything, the client will have to take it because they don't have anyone else. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. My daughter was moving from St. Pete, FL to Raleigh, NC. I met her in Raleigh to await the moving truck and help her get organized. The most important thing to us was the delivery window. Our agent was Pierre. He was, of course, pleasant and acted like your typical sales person. I reiterated over and over that the 2-3 day window we were given had to be met because my daughter had to go to work and I needed to return to home in Virginia. He wouldn't correspond via email, mostly by phone. I guess I know why now. He promised things that didn't happen and promised things wouldn't happen that did. They were a week late delivering our stuff from St. Pete to Raleigh. Every day I reached out to Pierre via email and he wouldn't respond so I would call and leave messages or when I did reach him he would say he would check on the status and get back to me which he rarely did. He actually cursed at me numerous times. The reason he gave me at the beginning was the drivers were behind. Then he told someone in his organization that it was because I hadn't made another payment. I was told the final payment was due when the delivery was made. I asked to speak to the owner of the company and He told me he was the person that managed all the moves. There was no one else to talk with. We selected this company mostly because they could give me a 2-3 day delivery window instead of the normal 5-7 days we were given by other companies. They did not live up to their end of the bargain and if he had just communicated in a professional manner perhaps I wouldn't feel this strongly. It was a nightmare! read more

If I could re-do this move, I definitely would not choose this company. The salesman, Frank, seemed very organized and thorough when I first spoke with him, but I soon discovered that most of the information he provided me was false and he was only trying to make a sale. I scheduled a three day window in which my things could be picked up in Tampa and a three day window when they could be delivered in Nashville. I was informed that someone would contact me a week prior to that window to let me know the date and time of pick. I ended up having to contact Frank three times before someone from dispatch contacted me. To my disappointment, they called me less than 24 hours ahead of the time they were going to be there. They also ended up coming a day early. They were scheduled to be at my apartment at noon, but didn't show up until 2:30pm. And they didn't leave until 10:30pm! What a long day! Especially for a one bedroom apartment. Once everything was packed up, I was told that my things should arrive at my new place during the original time frame and someone would contact me the day before. Well, that day came and I still hadn't heard from anyone. Again, I had to call three times before anyone returned my phone call. The dispatcher proceeded to tell me that my things were in a warehouse in Miami and wouldn't be delivered for another week. Again, I contacted Frank multiple times trying to speak to a manager to expedite my delivery, but was never successful. There was nothing else I could do but wait another week for my things to arrive. The day before my scheduled delivery, I again had not heard from anyone and had to contact someone to get my scheduled time. When they finally arrived, the movers barely spoke English and had to use Google translate to communicate to me. They also wanted to charge me for more stairs. When I said I wasn't going to pay any more money to their company, the movers immediately had Frank call me. I explained that I have had so many issues and didn't think I should have to pay anymore, and Frank proceeded to ask what issues I've had. Are you serious Frank?! I can't tell you how many times I had spoken to him or tried to contact him regarding all the issues I've had with my move, and he had no idea who I was. Very, very poor customer service here. Frank said he would get with his manager and call me back shortly. I have yet to hear from him or any form of management. I'm thankful that I finally have all my things and nothing was damaged, but I would not recommend this company to anyone! Take your business somewhere else! read more

Absolutely NOT!! I have very little furniture that needs to be moved. I can move the smaller stuff on my own, but being a single woman, unfortunately, I need the help of a couple of men to move the bed and another big piece of furniture that weighs too much and doesnt fit in my SUV... (thats it!) its less furniture than what goes into a studio apt! They lured me in with a very attractive quote online then tried raising the price when I called to book the price they quoted! This is NOT a way to conduct business. Pierre was NOT helpful or nice at all, telling me he would not honor the price of the quote. Its a total of 6 miles from point A to point B and he's telling me it would take more than 3 hours to complete the job. no additional packaging or tape or anything is necessary and he's already trying to charge me more. What a bunch of thieves.. Thanks for nothing Pierre, I will find a couple of guys from Home Depot and get it done myself. Completely disgusted with your way of conducting business and treating women.. ASSHOLE! read more
