Trash that was left behind. The workers were supposed to take the leftover moving company trash with them.

Long story short, the company damaged my vehicle, my brand new floors, and called me a liar (After initially ignoring me) when I contacted them about the issue (Footage on camera). They are denying everything and did not have any process or documentation on how to handle claims. They left the trash. 1 of the 2 guys working was helpful and the other one was constantly arguing and carelessly moving the items. Insurance companies will support handling the situation as I am still trying to find resolution. I would not recommend this headache of a company. Check my other reviews for proof that I share positive remarks as well.

If reliability, timeliness, communication and customer service are important to you as a consumer...DO NOT USE PICK UP MOVERS LLC. Our only point of contact was a guy named Frank who is apparently a "manager." He was very helpful and readily accessible before gaining our business, but once he had it the customer service was virtually non-existent. Frank would not pick up phone calls and only responded via text if he responded at all. Initially, Frank gave us a window for when the movers would arrive between Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th. However, according to Frank, they would most likely arrive Friday morning. We made plans accordingly and took the time off work and the movers never showed up on Friday. We touched base with Frank on Saturday and he claimed they would arrive by 1:00 PM. The movers finally showed up at our home at 7:30 PM. They had driven all the way from Miami to Atlanta. It then took the two movers approximately 6 hours to move our furniture and boxes. We did not leave until well after 1:00 AM. My husband reached out to Frank and never received a response or apology. Fast forward to the movers delivering our furniture and possessions. Frank gave us a delivery date of Monday, December 16th. My husband reached out to Frank on the Friday prior asking for confirmation and time of the delivery. Frank said he would get back to us shortly. We never heard from him. My husband reached out again on Sunday asking for a specific time of delivery and Frank's response via text was "Yes, I believe so." My husband then asked for the final amount we owed upon delivery and if it was only payable by cash to which Frank responded, "Yes." No details, no answers to the questions we were actually asking. The movers never gave us any formal documentation for payment or details as to where our stuff was being stored. This whole experience, we have been left in the dark with no responses. I finally called Frank myself on Monday, December 16th. He did not answer the phone, but responded via text saying he would call me back in an hour once he got to the office. I then called the number listed on google for Pick Up Movers, LLC. That number must also go to Frank's cell phone because while on hold with the number I received a text from Frank saying, "I said I would call you when I get to the office." Please see attached screenshots of the following text messages between Frank and me. His lack of professionalism, irrational outbursts and refusal to pick up the telephone to call back his customer is unreal. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional "sales manager." Neither my husband nor I ever heard from Frank again even though we asked countless times for him or some type of management to contact us. We did not end up receiving our things until Monday, December 30th...14 days after Frank told us they would be delivered. Again, the movers arrived late in the day and were unpacking our things in the dark. I will say that the actual movers did a good job on both ends. It is a shame that Frank leaves such a bad impression to his customers and the movers then have to deal with it. Please do your research before using this company. The negative reviews are very accurate to our experience and the little bit of money you may save is NOT WORTH IT. Plus the quote they gave us was well below what they ended up charging us.

By far the WORST moving company we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. We used Pick Up Movers for a long distance move from MD to GA in September 2019 and even paid for their full value insurance. For well over $8000 we got two guys and a truck. They 'packed', and I use the term loosely, our entire house in a single day by not wrapping *anything*. No paper wrap, no bubble wrap, NOTHING. All our artwork and frames just tossed into one big box without even a sheet of paper between them. They packed almost everything in those tall garment boxes. Electronics? Tossed in with no protection along with full length mirrors! Our flat screen TV was damaged beyond repair. Five months later and we're still fighting with their third-party insurance company to get a single dime back. Don't make the same mistake we did and steer clear!

I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker who has been working with Packing Service Inc for nearly 5…read moreyears. In April of 2014, I sold a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom 2600 square foot condominium. My seller did not live in the area and handled most of the business of selling the property remotely relying largely on myself to take care of virtually everything locally. I came across Packing Service Inc which has an online quotation system; all they required was I answer the questions and send them pictures of all of the rooms & items I needed to be moved into Storage. I was extremely impressed with their service. They (or their subcontractors who were wearing Packing Service Inc Shirts) arrived on time and within 6 hours loaded the entire apartment onto a truck. This included the dismantling of three king-size canopy beds, a half dozen couches, a table that seats 12 and all the other furniture and entertainment systems one would expect in a nearly 2 million dollar condo. Since then I have used their services several times in order to get customers of mine out of their homes in a timely manner (I specialize in short sales), most recently in the Palm Beach area where we had a lady who was recovering from a cancer operation; she was a HOARDER of very large and heavy furniture. It took 2 days, 8 men, 2 trucks and three 10x20 storage lockers. Over the years I have gotten to know the President of the company, Tony Jacob. As it turns out Packing Service Inc services more than just the Miami area; THEY SERVICE THE ENTIRE NATION through a network of more than 4,000 packing, shipping, moving & logistics companies around the country. The company's website is a one-of-a-kind system that takes the customer's order, gets the quotes from service & logistics providers local to the customer, and then books the job (which explains the Non-Refundable Deposit which I have never had a problem with). Tony is a self-made businessman who immigrated to this country with nothing 19 years ago and has built a successful business that I have come to rely on and recommend in my line of work.
