Was on a mission to obtain a tire and rim preferably a spare tire non aluminum (they are more expensive I guess). You sign in basically saying if you get hurt pulling and not being safe it's on you. Pay a few bucks and head on back in probably the largest scavenger hunt you can do for car parts. I will say they do have car makers marked with signs such as Ford, Chrysler, small trucks and Vans etc. did make it easier to figure what we were after. We found a nice spare on the underside of a onced upon a time SUV. They do have wheelbarrow type things for large parts instead of attempting to carry it back to the entrance to cash out. Lucky for us a tire rolls. It was a bit dirty but we got it to the front cashed out. They do accept cash and card. Don't wear nice clothes (was a last minute stop for us). And must have closed toe shoes for obvious reasons you're in a junk yard. I didn't see any nails but doesn't mean they weren't there. Safety first. But definitely a place to check out if you're needing a replacement something for your car and can do it yourself

Love coming here! Friendly people, dropping cars here is a breeze. I bring them cars all the time and let the tow company tow them in and not have to worry about anything. Reasonable prices, Paid quickly, paper work is always easy. Thank you!

My receipt for 2 tires purchased for above the quoted and posted price of $20 each.

I have been to this pick n pull many times before and have never had an issue with service, however, that changed a few days ago when I went to buy a couple of tires. I found two tires, one with a decent amount of tread, and one that was poor, but was the only other tire in the size that I needed. Two yellow signs posted above the tires clearly stated the price. Any tire under 20in rim was 20. 20inch rims and above were $25 and up. I had 2 sixteen inch tires, so I expected to pay the posted price of $20 a piece. This was also the over the phone quote that I had received prior to going in. When I got to the counter, Angel, the sales person, who also claimed to be the manager, told me the tires were 22.99 each. When I told her that I had been quoted something different over the phone, her response was to raise her voice and say, louder this time, "22.99 each" I then pointed out that the sign posted above the tires also indicated that they were $20 each. Again, and even louder this time she said 22.99 each and that's not changing". I told her I really didn't have a problem with paying 22.99 for each tire, I just had a problem with the fact that I was quoted a lesser price in the phone and that their posted price was not being honoered. She then rolled her eyes and YELLED, $45.98 plus tax, take it or leave it. I asked if there was a manager there that I cou ok d speak with, she yelled again, "You're looking at her". Wow. Really??? I asked her babe and she said Angel Montgomery. I got home and was really irked by the way I was treated by Angel. She was certainly no Angel. I tried to find a Corporate number for PicknPull. Somehow I ended up speaking with a Supervisor at CashForCars. He informed me that there really was no one to refer me to regarding my concern and he suggested that I fill out a customer survey online. So I was treated very poorly by a sore manager and now I'm being told to complete an online survey to express my concern. I'm really dissappointed. I'll be back because I have found value in the service they offer for reasonable prices, but I will always have a very tainted view about the lack of professionalism, the incredible rudeness, and the ignorance shown by the store manager, Angel. Sorry PicknPull. Your manager cost you two stars in this review.

Not the best salvage yard I've seen, but I got some great parts here for great prices. Even saw a rare Scandinavian sportscar!

I use them to maintain my Ford 8N tractor. The Napa part numbers are cross referenced with the Ford part numbers for my old tractors. Once you have got a cross reference, getting the right part is much easier than going to the tractor dealer and paying much more. I found a list of part numbers of the "good" Napa parts for my old tractor. Of course, they do not have every part - but they have a lot of the parts that frequently need to be replaced. I needed a drain plug for my carburetor because the previous owner of the tractor favored pliers when opening the drain rather than an end wrench. The guys at Napa spent considerable time helping me find that part - which ended up costing less than a dollar - and they had to call to another store to have it driven over for me to pick up. That is good service! Should you maintain a vehicle, I recommend you keep a list of all the parts with the numbers so you can get them without having to go to the dealer - and you can help your buddies who have similar vehicles when something breaks.

I ended up renting a trailer and truck from uhaul and towed my car myself all the way down to my mechanic in San Jose who not only told me he can do it for 1.5k BUT my mechanic (shout out to Akins repair in san jose) told me that they didn't even mention that my transmission was the real problem. So in summary I paid these con men at ryans $250 for a diagnostic (absurd to begin with) they were going to charge me 3.5k for a 1.5k job and they didn't even find the problem so if I paid them these extortion prices thinking I could go back home I would've been told in the middle of repair that I would have to cough up another $5k for a transmission. Literally saved about 6 months worth of rent avoiding them. Update to owners response: please re read what i wrote. I was quoted 3,500 for the cv axel AND bearings not sure why you're saying i misheard when i asked very bluntly over the phone, " how much will it cost to get me back on the road to go home" your employee said 3,500 and reiterated it was for cv axel AND bearings. in addition to the overcharge for both parts and services the issue was misdiagnosed by your employees as i took my car to a transmission specialist and he insisted to take a ride with me so i can confirm the noise (a protocol your business should incorporate) and instantly recognized the sound to be either transmission or transfer case and is currently diagnosing it further for $150 ($100 cheaper than you.) my main mechanic (the one that would do what was recommended to me for less than half the price you quoted me) even told me that he doesn't know what you all were listening to because within 30 min of me dropping it off he recommended me the transmission specialist (he didnt charge me for this inspection fyi). And he agreed that my cv axel and bearings could use work but this noise had nothing to do with that. In other words its evident that If I went ahead with your business I would've spent thousands of dollars and still would not have been able to drive on the road and spend thousands more to fix the actual root of the problem. I still have the diagnosis and i can go ahead and publish how you managed to find everything but the root problem and compare it to the findings of the ongoing transmission inspection and if God willing if it's just a transfer case problem I'll update how my car is back on the road after towing it to the south bay and having two other mechanics look at it cost me less that dealing with you.
