I had a great experience with Marshall! I found the truck I was looking for on my USAA car buying app, I called the dealership and luckily Marshall was the one who picked up the phone to help me. He was a super nice guy, very easy going and has some great stories. When I arrived(after an hour and a half in the van with 3 kids) he already had the truck I was interested pulled up, washed and ready for a test drive. He took a picture of my license as instructed me on a good route to take the truck to open it up a little and breath and gave me a smile and sent me on my way. Afterwards I sat down with him and told him I was interested in the truck. He helped me get a great deal in my price range. The whole staff was very friendly and tolerant of my children occasionally running away from my wife. It was all very quick and painless. I want to preface this with saying the staff is friendly and kind and normally they do an OK job. My truck had been having some issues starting, and was due for service so I took it in. I told them they said they would look at it. Upon pickup they said everything was fine. Hauled some horses to SoCal parked at the hotel and the starter went out. Also been asking for the part that was recalled for a good 4+ months now. I have other friends with the same truck and they got theirs within two months so not sure what this place is Messing up on or if they are just lazy but something needs to change. **update** The service manager called me. We spoke and he said he would look on to it and call me back. He never called back and now this dealer will not call me back after leaving a ton of messages. Heck I noticed the entertainment center will not turn off. It was working fine before it went in. I have called them numerous times on this but they will not call you back. I had to convince my home dealer to take this over since they don't like to touch other peoples work. I can understand that. This dealer is a major joke. Major fail!! I had been going to Petaluma Chevy for my service for years. I only came here because of the great reviews and I got tired of the service tech talking about how Covid is a hoax. Well this dealer is a joke. I came here the first time back in 2019 looking for the truck I wanted. The sales guy was an older person who could careless about his job. I should of known not to return. Well everyone I spoke to said this dealer is great. So I gave them a shot. What a mistake. First the service department isn't even in the Chevy dealership. You have to up the road to Dodge. It went in for an oil change and the blinker was saying the rear driver's side blinker was out (it wasn't). It was hyper blinking. So after I'm checked in for an oil change and a blinker issue I get a call around 1pm saying we need the key to the locking lug nuts. I tell them other dealers have no issues and didn't need the key. They just give me a confused huh. Then at 4pm I get a call saying the rear housing for the blinker is cracked and there was an LED blinker and turn signal that Chevy said is a service bulletin on it. Yes I used Lasfit's lights. Lasfit says there is no issue. So then the service guy says we stopped work. I came down and asked to see the crack. He had no idea where it was. But there is water in the tail light. I again asked where is the leak. He looked confused and said we stopped with the light. I asked why and he said service bulletin. I asked if the led light was causing the issue and if they put a normal oem light in to test it. Once again I got huh and no. I asked why. He said service bulletin. I asked if the light was still hyper blinking. He said it never was. I couldn't take anymore of this guy's stupidity. I paid for the oil change and left. I will never be back. read more

Where do I begin, after speaking to the general manager Brian he assured me that both checks have been mailed for the refund of the warranty and the refund of the gap to GM Financial. He said GM financial would be responsible for mailing the checks back to me, just got off the phone with GM Financial and they have never received a second check to cancel the warranty only to cancel the gap. This is basically turning into a game of hot potato game and putting blame on one versus the other. When in actuality all refund for warranty should go through the dealer and the customer and have nothing to do with the Financial Institution. Oh and the best part, no body returns calls or voicemails. I should have known this would be the case from my original purchase back in 09/2021. The Tahoe Purchased was in transit to them and had an advertise price of 68,520 when I saw it in their website and applied for financing. I was approved before Vehicle had arrived and went over terms. Once the vehicle arrived they had called me to notify my it's here and also added a $3,455 mark up to it as a "market adjustment". They got me with the good ol bait and switch not to mention my credit had already been ran. Shame on you guys. I had let that whole market adjustment part go but this BS with the refund check for the warranty cancellation brought it all back to me. Not a way to treat any customers! Brought all my paperwork that I would need to start seeing if I was able to finance the car, told him what I was wanting to do. Gave him my keys so they could look over my truck and go from there. Walked around while they were supposedly going to look over my truck. Was told after about an hour that they couldn't do it. No one inspected my truck. Didn't even sit down with anyone to go over credit or nothing. I felt like I was given the runaround. Told that they couldn't do it, but yet I didn't sign anything so they could run my credit or looked at my pay stubs. Nothing. I felt that I was looked at and thought, not gonna waste my time doing anything with this. It was a waste of my Father's Day. I was shown another car that was out of my price range, told him the day before that I couldn't do that one. I felt I was already judged the moment I stepped out of my truck. Disappointing! My G-friend and I purchased 2 brand new vehicles a while back from this dealership and I must warn you to be very careful. The reason I say this is my Gfriend ordered a custom challenger - scat pack edition and 6 speed (she is a badass), at the dealership with the sales guy, ordered the car and then waited for delivery to the dealership. At this time we thought to ourselves how many miles would be on the vehicle since this is going to be brand new and a custom order. Well get this, it had 22 miles on it before we even opened the door. How unbelievable is this! A custom, brand new car, from the factory-has 22 miles on it! Get the F out of here. How shady is that!!! When I bought a new car a few years back from a dealership lot, it has 6 miles in it. Hence why this so alarming!!! I worked with Ash to purchase a used car here in July 2018. Ash was very pleasant to work with and negotiated reasonably and fairly. He also allowed me to take an extended test drive of the vehicle. My one admonishment was that although one accessory was listed as included with the vehicle (though not present) and agreed as included in our deal, I had to chase Ash for delivery for six weeks and he would do nothing to follow up of his own accord. This left me wondering if he would follow through on our full deal. For this delay and lack of follow-through, I have marked down Ash from what would have been a 5-star review to only 3 stars. That said, I would recommend Ash with the caveat to keep after him to ensure you get what you pay for (better yet, get it before you sign anything). read more

When visiting McConnell in 2015, I was pleasantly surprised by the sales department and the attention given to my wants for a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Well, the attention and call backs stopped after I signed the papers. I guess I was fooled by all the promises and sales pitches that were given. I decided to write this review now because recently this year I have been relentlessly leaving voicemails, being redirected endlessly, disconnected and some refusing to send me to the manager/owner. With my countless attempts to reach someone, my warranty for the vehicle has expired. I have been having troubles with the memorized seating mechanism of the drivers seat. Now, they state that my warranty is up and I have to pay 100% out of pocket. I am not happy with their customer service and everyone I have spoken to. This is not the first time I have had an issue with them. We bought the extra sealant for the interior and exterior and they primarily refused to re-wax the car because the sealant was not working and protecting the exterior. After back and forth, they finally dealt with that. While sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours, waiting for a ride (no rental car), I heard the gentleman at the front desk blatantly lie to a customer to his face. He stated he did something (call the manufacture) and when the customer left, he got right on the phone to call. The customer left very angry because he had been waiting weeks for Anthony to call. But, this new issue has forced me to write a bad review. I am not happy with McConnell and have voiced my opinion to everyone I know and will never shop at this dealership again. read more

Not pleased! Took my car in a few weeks ago for some repairs. They offered 2 services, one of which I declined on the assurance that the service could wait until I got back from my honeymoon. The day after I got home from my honeymoon, my transmission failed when I was driving (with my young child). Neither of the repairs suggested to me were transmission related. I called back and the person I spoke with told me that it sounded like it was time for a trade-in, and said they could set me up with a salesman whenever I was ready. WHAT?!?! They misdiagnosed my car, which cost me three times more than what I paid them a few weeks ago, which didn't solve my issue in the first place, and then tried to get a sale out of me when I called back to follow up about my transmission! Not to mention the potential harm that could have come to my child and myself! Never going to this dealership again, and I'm NEVER buying another Chevy! If you are a woman planning to go to this dealership, either take a friend who is knowledgeable about your car or just skip them altogether. Feeling really taken advantage of! read more
